SEPT 2009 code watch

Add me...we are going Sept 19 to 26 to take advantage of my son's birthday, the military discount, and the military tickets. Not sure if we would be able to get the free dining with all the other discounts we are getting...but it would be nice.

At the very least it will let me know if I am going to have stiff competition in getting the ADRs I want!

In hopes of free dining being offered again this year, I'm trying to figure out what dates we should go. Last year we went after September 20th, but we didn't bounce back b/c we thought we weren't going to go this year. Ha ha! Yeah, right. Big mistake.

Anyway, we have been at the beginning of September before, and the weather was torturous. At the end of September, it was HOT, but tolerable. Now I don't know if the difference of the beginning vs the end of the month is what helped or if it just happened to be a little cooler that year.

Also, the crowds were manageable, but still busy. As far as parades and shows like Fantasmic, it was still packed. Headliners still had long wait times without FPs.

I thought when I got back that maybe the people who had gone the week before the 20th said that the crowds were low last year, but I can't remember.

So, I'm looking for updates of when you've been in September and how the heat and crowds were.

We've gone in September for the past 4 years. Crowds have never been a problem and the weather has always been warm and perfect!

It can be done that way, but it is not necessary.

If you book room only, you will have to cancel and book a package when a sale breaks.
So, it might be easiest to wait until the sale breaks, and then book a package, or book a package now.

It is not required to have already booked a trip when a sale breaks.
Brand new trip bookings are accepted at that time.
They are offering the sales to try to get new bookings.
