SEPT 2009 code watch

I got it too! My first PIN! Of course, this is a solo trip for me, and I get a better deal by doing the bounceback rather than free dining for one. Maybe I can convince someone to come with me now, though!

I'm confused about how people get the pin? If you just register on the Disney website they randomly send it out?

I really want a discount. :sad1:

I got my free dining email today also!

There's a few ways you can get it - one is to sign up on the main Disneyworld.com page where it asks you to sign up for updates (it's on the bottom right corner).

You can also get it if you have them send you the 2009 Disney DVD.

I signed up with an extra email address to increase my odds around the second week of January, and that is the email address that received the code.

Has any one had any problems getting the hotel they want using this new free dining pin??? My fiance and I are thinking about going in September for our honeymoon, but he won't get on the ball and call Disney and now we have the pin code, but I am worried that the hotels we want might be booking up quickly. We are planning to stay in one of the deluxe resorts.

I am already booked with the 40% off code (Military)but the free dining would save me more money. No codes coming my way though. Husband and I both have signed up for a Profile and I ordered the video. Where is the update area? I checked off to get updates when I go the profile. Is this what you are talking about arbolita? I am not seeing anytihng on the main page of Disneyworld.com that says updates?

I'd suggest that you at least book now, and then you cancel if needed? There are only a limited number available per resort!

I had already booked a few months ago using Small World Vacations, so I just emailed my agent there (Caylie - I recommend to anyone!) and gave her my pin code. She emailed me back with my new cost, so I don't know if she had to re-book using that code, or if she was just able to modify my reservation.

We did not have a problem booking the resort we wanted. We booked with the free dining pin code at Port Orleans French Quarter.

Also---we booked under my grandfather's pin code-he's coming too. We were able to book 3 rooms total with the free dining. Woo hoo!!

What was the Pin offer that you guys received today?

This is the offer (w/out the pin of course!)
One low price
for all this magic:
•Most of your meals
•Theme Park tickets
•Disney Resort accommodations

4-Night/5-Day vacation package
$1,284*

for a family of four in a standard room at select Disney Value Resorts. For stays most nights 8/16/09–10/1/09.
That’s a savings of $523!

Am I interpreting it right that it's good only for stays through 10/1, not travel by dates of 10/1? I got my hopes up, but we're staying through 10/10 so it wouldn't be a great deal if that were the case. :( Still keeping my fingers crossed that there'll be one that's good for our vacation dates!

I just got my code at 2:01 central time today, so I think they are still sending them...keep checking your email!:thumbsup2

You can always call and ask! You never know!

I have to get a pin first. I have my fingers crossed for that, too! I just was trying to evaluate whether it was worth getting my hopes up for it. :)

(I just asked this in another thread, but wanted to ask it here just in case).
Not me, but wishing...

My dh & 2 boys (4 & 1) are planning to go the week of Sept. 13. Can I please be added to the code watch? Thanks!
