SEPT 2009 code watch

Subbing! I'm starting to plan for late Sept early Oct for 2009...

I want to:
- celebrate hubs Birthday on Sept 25th or my Birthday on Oct 9th
- go to MNSSHP
- Hopefully get free dining or 40%
- do FWF

Not that I have ambition or anything.... :rotfl:

finally got home after a very eventful Dec. trip... lesoon learned that I will be sticking to my regular Sept-Oct trip... the decorations were great but it was packed... i never experieced such number of guest when I go around October.. never had seen a 90 minute wait for Spaceship Earth... never say lines with any FP Kiosk but last week... sooo what did I miss..

going back to catch up with the thread... let the planning begin!

ANTS- We just got back from Disney as well... I could not believe how busy it was. What are the lines usually like in Sept? Well how long is the wait for the more popular rides?

the weather when I was able to wear sweater and jeans going in the park.. but that is the only thing I enjoyed this past trip... I dont even remember a 90 minute wait for any of my 1st week.. 2nd 3rd or 4th week of Sept trips for Spaceship earth... the most I have waited in lines was 45 minutes.. but it was no worries since it was the TOT reunion last Sept. 13 and with 21 Diser ganghooo to ride and chat... we did not even notice the wait... and the trick I learn from other Sept/Oct disers where start early... go back for a nap rejuvinate and go back in the afternoon when the afternoon showers is over... or in between those days go to the pool or the water park...

when were you there... we were there from the 6th to the 14th...

ok time to go to work... :car:

be good and dont make me read to many pages when I get back :grouphug:

Subscribing.....haven't been to DisneyWorld since 2006 and me and my hubby were talking about going back next year to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and the fact that both of us will be turning 30 years old next year. When we were last there we got the Free Dining so I am hoping it is offered again next year. We are planning on Sept. 6-12...lets all keep our fingers crossed..:yay:

:wizard: pixiedust: for your upcoming plans/trip

We were there 6-11. We did not get on many of the more bigger rides because either they were 45 minutes long or because the FP time return was for two hours + later. We have been talking about September since it should be less busy... also considering May. We went in October in 2005, first day of our stay was value and the lines were empty.. next day began regular season and we had long waits.

That was some COLD weather on the 7th though. I was not expecting that.

really?? when me and my hubby (then bf) went back in 2006 the longest we waited for any ride was about 15 minutes and the weather was usually hot and humid with some scattered showers....typical for the time of year....

On 12/9 & 12/10 (our days to spend at MK) they were awful. Extremely slow which meant a stuffed to the brim bus. We also found buses to AK were extremely slow. Only saw a bus to Epcot once (did not visit there this trip). Lots of buses to Hollywood Studios.

I am not sure we would stay at a moderate again with a child in a stroller. We found it difficult to deal with it before getting on the bus, and afterward.

However, we liked Coronado (2nd time there). Would stay there again when DD is older.

Holly...Thanks for editing my info for me :goodvibes I booked our flights the other day... Air Canada had a 50% off sale, and all 4 of us from Edmonton cost $2400.00. Booking flights always makes it so much more "official", LOL.... and I hope all goes smoothly from this point forward for our trip! Hubby is looking at retiring from the military and hoping to get on as a Sheriff with the Alberta Govt. shortly. He hasn't had his official job offer yet, but has been shortlisted after the interview process. Just waiting for a new training course to be run and a official job offer. This is the only thing I can see throwing a wrench into our plans (the fact that he hasn't built up seniority and applying for leave during the dates we are booked). I told him, he'll just have to inform HR that this trip was booked over a year ago and things are non-cancelable!! I truly hope we do not run into issues regarding the days off he'll need!! :scared1: We are booked for Sept 1-12... Tue Sept 1- Friday Sept 4 would be 4 days and the weekend is not work time.... Monday Sept 7 is Labour day, and Tue Sept 8-Friday Sept. 11 is another 4 days needed... so He needs to book off 8 working days. Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes as planned!!!

Hi everyone! Subscribing to this thread. We haven't booked yet, because I'm a slacker but are planning on going Sept 19-22 for my big 30th birthday, oh and our 5th wedding anniversary too LOL

I've always wanted to stay at WL so we are hoping to book that. Would love nothing more than to get a nice rate to make the price not so bad.

I'm subscribing. We got free dining w/ a bounceback. But I am all for looking for an even better discount! :lovestruc We are Poly Club Level 9/19-9/25! I can't believe I am planning this vaca already my DH is gonna kill me :rotfl:

I have a question...when you get the 40% off is it just the room or is it everything like tickets dining plan and room? Thanks
