Thank you everyone for your kind words...I must admit, I hestitated writing anything about what we are going through...DIS is a place to be happy and cheery and excited about our Disney trips.

But you guys are wonderful! It really is encouraging to know that my DIS family is here for me...even when I don't feel like doing much...I stop in to feel the warmth and love from you.

So thank you very much.

Since I need to distract myself a bit more this weekend, I'll add more to the TR...uploading pictures now.

Today is Saturday, September 22nd.

Chapter 10 -- Bumps and Booms

After a few days of rain, I learned that I need to double-laminate my Mickey Heads that are on my stroller...or make one for each day or so...the ones I have are getting pretty torn up.

So off we go to Animal Kingdom. I had only planned one day at AK -- just enough to do 3-4 things. We arrive at 9:10am -- woo hoo! Great timing on our part...and basically walk right in the park.

My dad agrees to go to KS to pick up FPs for everyone, my mom takes DD to ride Triceratop Spin and DH and I run to EE. There was a HUGE line outside the gate -- oh, no!!! But the Waiting sign only showed 5 minutes. Here are some pics from the line.

I know there are a lot of them, but we really enjoyed this ride -- just good old fun -- not scary, not super-thrill ride, but fast, fun. I plan to scrap a 2 page layout using small pictures as a border (2" x 3") all around and then tell the story. I look forward to doing this.

I told DH to get a pic of this sign so I could use the slogan for my scrapbook

Well, DH and I enjoy this ride so much and the line really was only a few minutes long, despite the big queue out front, that we rode this 4 times in a row -- woo hoo!!!

Then as we left the 4th time, thinking we really ought to meet up with my parents, we run into our friends from Florida and .... THE DREAM TEAM!!!

Yes, could you believe it??? The Dream Team walks into the back entrance to EE -- so someone is going to win the Castle dream or some other big prize -- they are all there, with the DVD player, etc...

I wanted soooooooooooo badly to go on the ride again -- but I just knew that my dad was getting all upset b/c he didn't get to do anything and it's already been about 25 minutes....soooooo, I grudgingly leave....thinking, that was our chance to get the dream ....

And yep, sure enough when we meet up, my dad is commenting that we took so long and he didn't get to do anything yet -- we invited him to go on EE but he tried a previous day and got all scared on it.

So whoever won the Dream that day -- I just wanted to say that I let you have it!!!!!

Chapter 10 con'td

So we meet up with my parents, introduce our FL friends to them and basically chat for a bit. Then my mom and DD have a water fight

And off we go to Maharajah Jungle Trek to see the tigers

We ride KS and I swear, this was the bumpiest ride of our lives...I was in the back row with my parents and we seriously had to hold on the seat in front of us or else we were slamming into the sides of the car, each other, etc....it was really funny and had all of us laughing hysterically.

We've been on the ride before and yeah, it has some bumps and all, but this time I think the driver had to go to the bathroom or something and was driving as fast as he could!

At this time it's about 11:15am which means it's time to head over to Flame Tree BBQ. Now you have to understand that my absolute favorite CS was Tusker House. The one reason I always went to AK was to get the Meal Deal -- Entree, Drink, Snack...well, as you know TH is closed...it's going to be a buffet restaurant and I'm very sad to see that.

However, everyone said how good FTBBQ is, so that's what we got. We sat by the river enjoying our BBQ, feeding the alligator and turtles (shhhh! I'm sure they didn't want us to do that but it was such a cute little alligator swimming in the water)

Sorry, it's Kilimanjaro Safaris...you go on the jeep through the savanna..I've been on prob 10-15 times but this one was just wild!

I was in AK only once and we only went to eat and see a Bug's Life and never did any rides so I am not familiar with what they have there. HOpe we can do more there next trip.

Just got the phone call from the doctor...well, it's both good news and not..

My HCG count went up to 122 (was 111, then 72)...however, the nurse told me that "if she was a betting woman, she would not expect this pregnancy to make it" b/c HCG counts should only rise, never drop...

Hey Marshay, I didnt notice this post. I'm glad you did share what was going on. Please let us know when you get anymore news.

You got some GREAT pics on Everest! I wanted so bad to take some, but I was afraid that I would drop my camera. I still havent seen Devine! If it werent for this site, I wouldnt even know she existed!
