Sept 2007 My Affair w/Mickey -- Complete!

This is DD's 2nd flight...we flew down to WDW in Oct 2005 but she was only 3 months old then.

Yes, that's all I have!! Now my DH will have another 3 bags!!

I knew it..I knew there had to be more bags...you are so tricky


Hope they have curbside check in...

She was wonderful! I bet she will not do as good this time, but she'll have more fun. When she was 3, she would just eat, sleep and look around. It was so easy to put her in the stroller or Baby Bjorn...now we get running around, tired, over-excited, etc.

But it'll still be great!!! I just can't wait to see her face when she sees main street and the castle! I told DH I want him to go first and set up so he can get a picture of her face...I expect it to be just one of awe...

Oh and we are going to try to take her on Haunted Mansion...I read another thread that said 2 year old don't know enough to be scared of ghosts and such and she is not scared of the dark...however, we'll save that for later in the week, just in case it scares her.

We took DS on Haunted Mansion..he was a little over 2...too little to be scared

DS liked the characters at that age..

DS did great last year...he slept half the flight

Today I laid out the clothes for DD and me to wear, coordinating the colors. DH reluctantly said he would do the same. This should make it a bit easier for us to find each other -- no more, hmmm, what was he wearing! (And our pictures will look better too!)

Also, my DH surprised me today with this -- our light-up green MH for the stroller! He made it tonight all by himself!!

That is so cool! I wish my DH could make something... anything!

So I told DH that we would let DD sleep in this morning...and wouldn't you know it, I get up before my alarm, go to get on my computer and she's sticking her head out the door at the gate, smiling at me.

So we're up at 7:45am and play around, finish packing, showers, etc.

I just checked the weather and the high heat they have is going to break a bit (only upper 86-88 instead of 92+) -- yeah!!!

Not sure if I mentioned it or not, but I've been trying to lose 20 lbs before Disney (the past 3 months)...my actual: 10 lbs...not as good as I wanted...so another question to answer -- how many pounds will I gain at WDW on the Dining Plan??? I know I'm not going to lose weight.

How will DD do on the plane? Will she be that kid that's screaming the whole time and everyone gives us dirty looks?

This will be DD's first time on a pull-out bed (b/c I think she's too small for the travel pack-n-plays that Disney provides)...will she go to sleep and stay in bed?

Will my DH, me and my parents be able live in 1000+ sq ft w/o killing each other?

These and more questions will be answered...when we return!
