What's the Night of Joy?

It's a Christian Music concert with a bunch of different artists. It's a special event and you need a ticket for it.
Here is what Disney's website says:

Night of Joy is the only Christian music event that brings together the biggest names and hits in Contemporary Christian Music with the fantasy of the Magic Kingdom® Park. The two night event takes place on September 9 and 10 from 7:30pm - 12:30am.This year's stellar lineup includes MercyMe, Steven Curtis Chapman, Audio Adrenaline, Casting Crowns, newsboys, Donnie McClurkin, TobyMac, CeCe Winans and many more.** Enjoy a different lineup each night, as well as, unlimited rides on popular Magic Kingdom® Park attractions. Separate admission is required for this event. For groups of 10 or more, call 877- NITE-JOY (877-648-3569).

hi myself , dh : ds3 & dd1 , will be going on sept.26-oct.2 we are staying at ASMo. and MNSSHP on sept. 30. my parents will be joining us only for a shorter stay at POP sept. 26- sept.30. this is there 1st time stayng onsite!! anyway cant wait to go!!

Hi,
I'm planning a trip in December and hoping they extend the Free Dining however I have an AP and when I tried to book in September I was told the code for Free Dining doesn't work with AP code. So I had to choose and I booked offsite (first time ever).

So here's my question. What do APs do if they want free dining? Do you book at normal rack rates and buy a ticket for 1 day? Will that still give you free dining for the remainder of the stay? It seems this year wasn't a great year to have passes.

Yes, we booked at rack rate and bought just one day base tickets. However, we're staying at Pop and the AP discount was only something like $14/night. So, it was more than worth it to us to pay rack rate plus $64 per person for the tickets and get free dining for 8 nights in return. (So...8 nights worth of free dining 'cost' us about $300 or so for three people.) If we were staying at a Deluxe, where the AP discount was much higher, it probably wouldn't have been such a great deal for us.

Hi we will be extending our stay by 2 nites. We will be there Sept. 10-16. Oh and my name is still showing as going sept 23. We arent' going back to back although I wish we were! LOL

Oh, this is SO easy. I have an AP and we just booked the nights, added just ONE day passes and got the dining free. You only have to add a one day pass to the packages now and the dining matches the hotel nights.
