Wow.....It looks like the last 2 weeks of September are going to be busy in Disney. I just looked at the roll call and there are a ton of people that are going at that time.

September 24 to October 1 at Port Orleans French Quarter. Me, DH & two kids. It's the kids' first trip & we're surprising them. Not telling them until the day we leave!! Wahoo!!

Doing MNSSHP on 9/30. Hooray!

I cannot believe it is getting so close. I just have to share. Part of this is a repeat from other posts so I hope I don't bore anyone.

Background: My DH(51) has never been to Disney and it has always been a dream to go. We have been trying to organize a trip since DD(8) was born. For the last 5 years we have been in a financial struggle with the IRS. This year I told him that we could actually go to WDW if we were very good. About half way through saving he asked if we could possibly bring along my parents in appreciation for all of their support. My parents jumped at the chance to go along (they have never been to WDW, DL in '71). I have been dreaming about then planning this trip for 2 years.

Well, I tried to get everyone involved with the planning. I showed everyone the dining choices. Explained how CRT can be very hard to get. Discussed resorts and transportation. I was able to call Mom last night and let her know that we are not only staying in the WL (her dream) but we will be going to CRT as well. Mom started to cry. She said that she thought she would never get to go, let alone go with her grandchild and experience things she could only dream about.

So, all of this to say THANK YOU to everyone on the boards who have asked questions that I did not think of, and people that have passed on tips and information that is making this trip magical. I will be going to the Depot to find a lime green Mickey and proudly attach it to the backpack.

Also, please excuse us if we stop in our tracks when getting close to the castle. I believe that either Mom or I will start crying (once one of us starts, the other will gladly follow) with the pure amazement that we are actually there.

I just had to share with people that will understand.

Just booked tonight, put us in at the Poly from Sept 30-Oct 7... hannah's very first disney trip (and certainly not the last)

We will be staying at the BWV Sept 4 - 10.

DW and I will be celebrating our 5th year anniversary. I am also bringing 16 other lucky family members. For 12 of them it will be their first time to Disney World. I love having the role of tour guide at WDW.
