Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

Updated FE List:

Heather & John, room#2560
Susan & James, Jameson (4), room #2580
Michelle & Steve, Grandma Robbie, Kate (7), room #5020
Taaren & Alex, Sam (5), room #6003
Donna & Diane, room #6047
Brenda, Dianne, room #6090
Jennifer & Bob, room #6128
Justin & Joy, Holly (10 months), room #6313
Janice, Trevor (young adult), room #6503
Darcy, Nick (young adult), room #7621
Crystal & Aaron, Jacob (4), Ella (1), room#?
Pam & Nate, room#?

So in summary we are currently at 12 cabins with 31 people. For the gift, just do whatever you are comfortable with, whether that be 1 gift for each cabin or 1 gift for each person, or several gifts throughout the cruise...your choice. Sounds like we have an awesome group of people so we will all be happy with whatever gifts we receive.

Someone mentioned a cut-off date. In my past FE gift exchanges we have done 2 weeks before the cruise but usually no one joins close to the cruise time anyway so I will make our cutoff date will be 8/31/11.

Jennifer, I also have a Jenn with her DH and 4 Teens, Cabin 5134, on the list I have for my own records - I think she just joined in a couple of days ago

Ahhh, thank you. I hurried through the last couple of the pages and totally missed AuntJenn.

To AuntyJenn, can I get your husband's first name, kid's first names, and their ages? Thank you.

It's Ok. I am hand making my FE's for the most part and am trying to stay ahead of the list - as it takes about 4 hours to do each one

Jenn, I also have a Pam and Tim Room 7076 - 2 Adults

Thank you, just added them to the list. If anyone else notices any mistakes (spelling errors, etc, anything?) please let me know.

So the new tally is 14 cabins and 39 people...I think...at this point my brain is fried and it still isn't Friday yet. I am so looking forward to the three day weekend.

Oh my goodness, you put me to shame. I'm making my husband do all the hard work ;-)...he designed an awesome coin that we are having made. We did it for our last cruise and it was a big hit so I decided to just stick with that.

I am trying to talk him into making our extender. He sews and I don't so it would look nicer for him to do it. I am making our FE gifts out of plastic canvas, so it takes a while.

The vancouver thread said there was a free shuttle from the Victoria port to the Empress hotel. Is that true? Can we take the shuttle even if we're not staying there and then walk to miniature land and the bug museum (simple pleasures)? We're keeping our shore excursions super simple and spend most of our time on the ship.

Still not sure whether we plan to get off in Mexico just to say we've been there. Are there any good little roadside shops? I need some pearl earrings to match my neckless...

Hm, I thought I had another question too...

I super love the picture for the t-shirts!!! Totally doing that.

Oh, can you help me decide what to wear to dinner every night? Shorts are
never OK, right? Is it suits and tie for dress up night, or would a polo with a collar work? Can you wear t-shirts the other nights?

Thanks!
Shorts really are not allowed (kids can get away with it) but most dinners are good with a nice capris - sundress

Sorry your brain is fried - I have a question though - what is a three day weekend? I have only today off - but after work on Sunday DH and I are driving up to Disneyland for the Star Tours Preview - and going back to the park on Monday

My work is closed on Monday because it is Memorial Day, a work holiday for my office. So around here we call that a three day weekend. I plan on doing absolutely nothing since I've spent the last two weekends running around to different events (graduations, recitals, etc.). I wish I lived close enough to WDW or DL but I'm in St. Louis. Plenty to do in St. Louis, just nothing as nice or exciting as WDW or DL.

Since I work at the Zoo down here, our busy times are when the rest of the country get time off, and Sunday is usually the busiest day. (I should have inserted a smiley after my question - as I was joking)

LOL, yeah I totally missed the sarcasm. I was thinking how can someone not know what a 3 day weekend is? Those darn Californians ;-).

Cute -

Can I ask a silly question - be patient - I'm old :flower3:

There are abbreviations working at figuring out - what is a DH?

Also, do you know if there are coffee card or the cruise?

There is a coffee card for the Cove- but their Free coffee isn't all that bad - I go to the cove for my mochas ;)

We all ask questions Ms Robbie - that is how we learn.

DH is Dear Husband, DW is dear Wife, DS is dear son, DD is dear daughter, DMIL - dear mother in law...

I can't answer the question about the coffee card, as this is my first cruise :cheer2:
