Leaving you all. Well, I know I haven't been active - I posted awhile back but have been lurking since. The reason is that I found out I was pregnant RIGHT after we booked! Unfortunately I miss the 24 week cutoff by two weeks. So since it looks like this pregnancy is viable, we just canceled. The good news is we rebooked for the June 28 Alaska! Just hoping my morning sickness is 100% gone by then. Hope you all have a WONDERFUL cruise!

Hi, I am very excited to be going on this cruise. I just learned about FE and have a couple of questions; how many little gifts are we looking at? Is there a main list somewhere with everyone's cabin numbers, and can I get everyone to note their favorite disney character next to their name?

Oh oh. That sounds marvelous! What limo company? We are setup with DCL to go to VGC. Since there are 4 of us, that would be $120.00 I would love to do a limo for $99. We would tip nicley!

Maybe MissJ1975 can add the characters to her FE list - but everyone would have to send that to her...as far as how many little gifts...that's totally at your discretion....but most ppl spend just a few $$ - don't want to go overboard (no pun intended) it's just mostly all good fun - and the kids especially look forward to seeing whats in their FE

E is a girl, the others are boys. The first 3 are all teenagers. So, sign us in, or whatever and please let me know who your favorite disney characters are if you can.

I finally figured out neck sizes, lol. These aren't tight measurements, but the full length that would be comfortable for each person.

Stateroom A - no room # yet
My DH really likes the style of the top one. His neck is 17".
DS would probably love one in a similar style to dads, but maybe with the bright blue. His neck is 13"
I would love something with pink (maybe even some purple too?). My neck is 17"
And one for DD that matches mine would be awesome! Her neck is 12.5"

Stateroom B - #7621
My mom (darcy) would like purple or maybe some pink, with a neck size of about 18".
My brother (nick) would like something similar to the top or middle one too, neck size 17".

As far as I know, yes we are counting children. (I forgot to add them - but since I work with animals I use what could be a weird system - 2.1 - two boys, one girl - to most people)

Hi All....off to Iowa for a long weekend, but was reading thru the Spain to Florida TA cruise thread and that group ordered a couple of different shirt prints from "vistaprint"...those who have received theirs already was pretty happy.
just for fun i designed a short sleeve shirt using the image that Crystal uploaded to the boards and it's coming up about $10 for white / gray (was an addl 2.99). However, if anyone wants to order from this place, you will need to get an actual jpg file from Crystal for best printing resolution...as i was getting a low resol error from their website....
anyway - just an idea...hope you all have a fabulous and long wkend

I have on question and it is about coffee . Do they use the liquid coffee (eww) and if so, are there coffee cards available.

The vancouver thread said there was a free shuttle from the Victoria port to the Empress hotel. Is that true? Can we take the shuttle even if we're not staying there and then walk to miniature land and the bug museum (simple pleasures)? We're keeping our shore excursions super simple and spend most of our time on the ship.

Still not sure whether we plan to get off in Mexico just to say we've been there. Are there any good little roadside shops? I need some pearl earrings to match my neckless...

Hm, I thought I had another question too...

I super love the picture for the t-shirts!!! Totally doing that.

Oh, can you help me decide what to wear to dinner every night? Shorts are never OK, right? Is it suits and tie for dress up night, or would a polo with a collar work? Can you wear t-shirts the other nights?

Maybe we'll just walk to the museums if its a nice day. Am I right that the cruise ship lets off near Ogden point in Victoria? its about 2km if we walk around near the water. Is it a pretty walk? What do you think?

That'd be great if it's true! The Empress is stunning hotel and there's lots to do within walking distance. Though I suppose you'd need a cab to get back to the ship.

Also: for anyone who hasn't booked air yet, Air Canada has decent pricing. At least they did for Portland to Vancouver.
