Helloooooooooooooooooo Fri the weekend of Labor Day and coming back home on Labor Day I forget exactly what dates as I do not have a calender in front of me, but I think it is the 2nd thru the 5th??

Sorry about that. I am having an off week. You know thw kind where things are running smooth, but you just feel off. I think it is this allergy medicine. Oh well I will be better tomorrow, as I plan on not taking any!

EEyorefan1969, you mentioned that your DS will be starting K soon. Are you ready? My eldest DD will be starting school soon as well. Is your son 1/2 day or full day?

Thanks for all the PD I think it really helped. I went for a job interview at a local credit union. I could have gone back to the Disney Store but I really was looking for something with better pay and better hours. This is a great credit union and highly recommended by friends. I have plenty of banking experience so I think I did a great job at the interview. They are willing to work around my time for school and they have great benefits. They pay time and a half for any saturday hours, insurance and a wonderful 401k. So I should find out next week. I hope I get it because my in laws want us to go on a cruise with them next june and we can't afford it as well as our Sept. cruise, which I will NOT cancel. So for me and my inlaws sake keep the PD and prayers going a little longer until I find out about this job. Hope everyone is having a great day!

If you are reading this I hope you will help out. Our dear Mr. Verandah Man is home recovering from knee surgery. Below is part of the PM he sent me regarding his current events. VM wrote: This was my 4th knee operation in the past 5 years... I think my right knee was getting jealous because my left knee was getting so much attention, LOL!!!

He did post on the Mag door thread that he wa having this surgery as well so the surgery is no secret. I thought it would be nice to send him a get well PM or e-mail. He's helped us so much here on the boards that it feels bleek without him. C'mon DISers and show your DIS support. Thanks in advance to those who do decide to send him a greeting.

As usual, I hadn't been receiving my notices for posts to this thread.

T: you will be glad to know that I'm FINALLY working on my ebay stuff!! Only have a few things listed right now, but more to come today or tomorrow!

So, how old are your kiddos that will be starting school this year? I wish Krystina could've gone to Pre-K this year (even if only 1/2 day) but I guess we'll just have to wait till next year. That's alright cause I'm not in that much of a hurry to go back to work!!

Amanda01: What position did you interview for? I didn't know you were in Banking? That's what I did for 10 years. I started at a local credit union as a teller and left after 5 years as the Teller Supervisor when I realized I was bored and there was no chance of advancement (the branch manager wasn't going anywhere and that was the only way "up" left to go!!). I went to work for Chase (also as a teller supervisor) and then we moved to the Dallas area and I went to work in operations (as a phone rep). After a year as a phone rep I switched departments and went to go work as a rep in Check Review. My job there was basically to review and catch high $ fraud/counterfeit checks. I loved it!! When I left there to be a stay at home mom (and moved back to south TX) I was one of 2 Work Flow Supervisors. I really loved my last job (stressful as it was) and I dread going back to work now because the only banking jobs in this area are retail and I can't imagine working in a branch again instead of "back office". Anyway, sorry to have bored ya with my life's work history!! Let us know as soon as you here something!!

Ericamanda, Continued good luck! Keep us posted! Taeja, my DS starts kindergarten on Monday, He did a year of pre school last year so I think that he will be more at ease going to big boy schoo. He has a full day and will be going to school from 9:15a to 3:5p. Horrible hours foe a little but thats how things are here due to the bus schedules. He doesn't ride the bus but they have to tier the grades in order to assist all the other grades also. It will definately be interesting.
