Below is a photo of the winning robe. DD saw one like it at Walmart and she said, oh, I have to have this, this would fit me. But I really wanted to find a princess robe, so, here it is. You know, my DH got her a princess lamp and I was laying in bed last night thinking, WHERE AM I GOING TO PUT IT?!? DD doesn't have enough flat space! HMMMM.... I also saw some really cute Disney Princess room accessories at disneydirect.com. (items that hang on the wall) Oh, they were sooo tempting!

Dollar Tree have the cutest little Disney Princess dolls that are about 3 or 4 inches high...

Dzneprincess, I've seen the Oct.19th thread on the comm. board and was wondering why it was there instead of the cruise meets board. IS THAT GOING TO HAPPEN TO US? ARE WE GOING TO BE BUMPED TO ANOTHER BOARD B/C WE'RE OLD? Ahhh! The agony of it all!

Krystina'sMommy I don't remember if I welcomed you back! So HI!

So how was everyone's weekend?! Mine was filled with little tasks and puncuated with laziness! Just the way I like it. I asked DH if we could go to DL this summer and he said that we can only do a Disney vacation every other year! I was so happy to hear him say it out loud! Now he has to stick to it! (insert evil wife laugh here!)

Well I have to registar for my classes for next term in 30 minutes. It's all online but it's kinda like after thanksgiving sale at a toy store, it's insane! The computer at school always get overloaded!

Sorry this is filled with nonsense but I am trying to waste time until I registar! I really want to get all my classes this term! Wish me luck!

OMG, Taeja! I love that robe!!! Had I found it on ebay when you did there would have been a bidding war between us!!!! Of course, I probably would've lost because we have the worlds slowest internet connection!! I can't get DH to spring for DSL or Cable internet service because we don't NEED it (and I'm the one that's always on the computer~EXCEPT when fantasy football season comes around ). Anyway, great buy, Taeja!!

Thanks for the congratulations on the robe. I paid only $15.50 for it plus S+H of course. I can't wait to see it. It was cute, I asked my DH if he wanted to watch the auction for me and he kept saying how he wanted to go to bed. Well, as the minutes kept ticking he'd ask me quesitons abou the time and if I had my bid ready...Well, after a couple minutes he asked if he could see the computer and he took over. The Ebay addict in him came out. He's going to disagree w/ my story, but that's how I saw things happening. I'm glad he took over b/c he knows our paypal acct. better than I do.

Let's help come up with some ideas why Leonor's DH NEEDS DSL over dial up....
1) Your computer will run much faster, his fantasy football updates will come much quicker, like real time.

Amanda01, I hope you get all the classes you need, hope you have high speed internet to keep up w/ the overlogged system at school. I hope you logged off on all your extra windows on the computer just to be safe.

It's snowing here (at least its not sticking). There's light snow predicted for my DD's b-day party on Sat. We'll see. Hope it will be nice and sunny instead!

I meant to ask, would you paint the ceiling the same color as the walls or not? I know we'll eventually have to paint every thing back to white (maybe) when we move, but what do you all think?

I had to post how my youngest DD looks like Boo from Monster's Inc.. I think she'll loose more of her baby face by the time Halloween rolls around again, but I had to share the pic w/ you all. Besides, the pic makes me think of a warmer time and place! The pic was taken at the end of the bike path at glorious CC. Oh how I wish I were there instead of freezing here!

The snow is blowing and the sky is white. We're in a whirling snow globe and the snow isn't sticking....

I got all my classes! It took 44 minutes to long into the system and we have cable internet, so you know they were overloaded! I am so relieved! Now if I could just finish up all the homework I have due tomorrow I will be doing great!

I can't believe all the adorable kids you guys have. It makes me want a baby. But don't tell my DH that, he would be overjoyed! I think I should wait until I am at least half way done with school. Hey is it just me or is the community board getting a little dark? I mean everytime I look over there I see really depressing threads and people attacking one another. Maybe I am just reading too much into it, but it's not a nice place anymore.

I agree, I stay away from the Comm board most of the time. I've started a couple threads asking general questions and most people are nice. But, today I asked the question about painting the ceiling and some guy posted Geniveves [sp-no clue] (paint the town-swiffer rep.) pic. I'm not even going to comment on that post. Any way, looking at the majority of threads they're shallow or topics that just won't improve my intellect.

This is a day I just want to curl back up in bed and go to sleep. Whops! I can't I got kids!

I started reading a post yesterday on the community board. I believe the title was something like "Does anyone else stay in an unhappy marriage?" or something to that effect. The title caught my attention. I didn't get too far into it before my computer froze & then I forgot about it (til just now). Other than that, there is a Days of Our Lives thread that I follow. Addicted to that too!!

Taeja, I will send you that pic tomorrow for your siggy line. Ever consider painting the ceiling a light blue? I believe it was @ Home Depot that I saw a little leaflet/brochure with the princess themed room where the walls were pink & the ceiling was blue. It was really nice! Krystina's bedroom is pink, also, but her ceiling is white (didn't think of the blue ceiling when we built the house & don't want to paint now that her room is full of stuff!). Did you make it over to Dollar Tree for those Princess dolls? Hey, I found a princess robe on ebay too! I haven't bid. I'm still debating because I had just bought a new robe for Krystina about a month ago from Children's Place, so she really doesn't need it. I've spent SSOOOOOOOO much over the last couple of weeks on ebay stuff for her (trying to get a new spring/summer wardrobe together for her, cause she's pretty much outgrown last years stuff). Now I just need to clean out her closet and sell the items she's outgrown! I LOVE EBAY!!!!!!!!

taeja71 I painted out spare room pink. I can't remember which pink it was but it started out just a lottle to pink so I bought some small cans of white and I kept adding it until I got id down to a powder pink. I think with the pink being so light that I should leave the ceiling white so you could see the pink better. But then again it really depends on how pink you want it. Either way send us pic's when your done.

Amanda what happened at chickcliks? You really loved going there? Was someone mean to you cause I go over there with my virtual bat and take someone one down a peg or two! Well look at it this way, you'll have more time to spend with us!

I bite my kids in the neck and get them to do that snort laugh.

I cannot wait to start painting any thing. We lived in our first house for seven years and had white walls except for the kids nursery. I love color and white walls can be so depressing. Paint can hide kids smudge marks too!

Leonor, we've gotten Robyn so much stuff for her b-day. I forgot about that princess lamp we got her around X-mas time. So, I won't be hunting for any more princess stuff. But thanks for the suggestion of the mini princess dolls.
Robyn got some presents and money from one of her grandma's yesterday. So, I've helped Robyn decide to buy paint for her walls.

I've got chalk and probably spider guts all over me. I've been cleaning our basement and all the kids toys. I'm actually seperating the bulky stuff from the tiny stuff. Now you can find the tiny stuff in stacking clear storage containers. Trust me, I really hate to clean and we are not a family of minimalists- I wish we were, we're such pack rats all of us!

Well, I don't want to get too comfortabe typing so, I'm going to start cleaning walls and then possibly clean the rugs next. We'll see.....
