Oh my shinny red love!!! Well as you may or may not know my car was offically totaled by the insurance adjuster a few days ago. So DH and I went to the local Saturn dealership and found my hot new ride!

It is the Vue from above! I love driving it and it is the first almost new car I have ever owned. I spent all day yesterday driving around doing errands with a hugh smile on my face! As for the D. store the 2nd interview got pushed back to next thursday thanks to the flu. The district manager whom I was to interview with has come down with it. I hope everyone has a good start to your weekend!

Hello, everyone! Just wanted to let you all know we're still alive . Just busy with life, I guess. Not to mention that I wasn't getting any reply notices, either. Hope everyone is well.

Amanda01: Congrats on your new "baby"! Even with as high as gas prices are, IMHO nothing beats driving an SUV! I've been driving an SUV for as long as I can remember. I must admit, though, that there is ONE car I would give up my Explorer for. I'm jealous of my husband's new Infiniti G35 Coupe! I would love to drive one myself (except the SEDAN that ISN'T manual/standard). I'm trying to convince DH to let me get one when my lease is up

Looks like we'll be taking a trip to Florida next month, but not to the MOUSE House . DH won a trip with work for his area coming in among the top in performance for last year. We will be going to Bonita Springs for a 4 day weekend. If anyone has any info on the area I would greatly appreciate it. Unfortunately, Krystina is NOT going to be a happy camper! Although she loves to spend time with my parents, we have NEVER left her behind for more than a day or two & now she is more attached to me than ever. Any suggestions on how to break the news to her?

Yes it is red, it's actually called Chili pepper red. The sun roof is an option but it's worth it. We were having record highs yesterday and I had it opened for hours! As for driving an SUV it will take some getting use to, being that high up is a new sensation. After the accident DH was glad to put me in a larger car. He's a little over portective of me, and I am fine with that!

Hi everyone! Still working on the pictures. I am not the most computer savy, I will admit. But they are coming!!!
Amanda, great car! I love the color! I am jealous. I drive a Honda Odyssey mini van. It is red in color though! But no sunroof.
Krystinasmommy, DH and I just went on a 7 night cruise without DS and he was not a happy camper. (neither was I after the first day) He stayed with my parents and my in-laws. We bought him several small toys and/or surprises and wrapped them up as presents and everyday, he was allowed to open one. I put a not on each one telling how many days until we came back and that we missed him, etc... It worked well for us and he had a blast!
DZNE , how was your trip? A little chilly in Florida this weekend. IOA/US are a blast. Where did you stay? Did you eat at Citywalk?

I was just attacked on the community board. I posted a thread about how a debt collector was rude to me and that I am filing for bankruptcy. The OT was about how rude this guy was and how mad he made me. Well I was just attacked for taking vacations and planning one. Then they really started in on me. I know that I have made mistakes, and that I have to take responibility for them but, D**N, I thought I could just vent about a rude person, I certanily didn't expect to encounter more rude people. What is goin on in the community board? Please tell me I won't find any of that here? I need a hug!

TaeJa: We've actually got relatives in Tyler (DH grandmother, aunts & uncles) and have been there numerous times (even to the WalMart). Such a tragedy. Thanks for the link. I had heard about it & read a small article in the paper the other day, but hadn't heard exactly what happened.

EeyoreFan: Thanks for the idea! I'm sure she'll LOVE the "gifts". She will be staying with my mom & dad. She is willing to spend an afternoon with my inlaws, but will NOT spend the night with them. My mom has made plans with my mom-in-law (they've become quite good friends over the years) to take Krystina out & keep her entertained while we are gone.

I am so glad we didn't get pounded with snow. We got a light dusting, but northern Indiana got hit worse as well as the East coast. Have you heard me mention I'm sick of the cold and snow?? Well, I just had to share that miniscule piece of information again. ** Dizneprincess, where are you? We need you!

I am back home from Universal Studios. We had a wonderful time, and I did not have an urge to go to WDW since I was so close. That is not to say I didn't miss it, but just that I was OK with being so near and not being able to go. THe attendance was light, but I am still very glad we stayed on property and were able to utilize Front of The line. That is awesome, and one thing the Universal has over DIsney hands down. Of course, Universal only has 3 hotels, where Disney has bu-Koo. It sure would be nice to have that option available at WDW. Just think, unlimited fast pass! We got in at 2am this morning so I am very tired and I am heading to bed, but I will get those pictures up asap!

You can get a www.photobucket.com web page to hold and edit your pictures. Then use the picture icon and past the IMG link from there to here. Photobucket is free and you can make your pictures smaller to fit in the posts. That's how I did it anyway. Amanda showed me and it has worked pretty good. I even sent the link to my MIL so she could show some of the wedding pictures to family back east.
