I normally love cleaning, but yesterday my knee was givning me a hard time, so I thougtht to myself, "Self, the mess will still be there this weekend!"

Cool beans on the new car. What color are you getting? And what kind of milage does it get? I wouldn't get to upset about the gas, remember it was over $3.00 this time last year, so we are doing pretty good right now.

Help! I may be babysitting an infant part time. How much should I charge? I don't want to overcharge her b/c she's only working 4hrs at $7.00 an hour. She'll be supplying all the diapers, what ever the baby needs. I may watch her other son from time to time too (he's school age). So, what are your thoughts?

I did get the car today. Its a 2006 HOnda Accord EX-L. I wanted to get Royal Blue Pearl as the color but they are not making anymore that color and there are none in the southeast to ship to me. I settled for Graphite Pearl which is a dark grey color. It looks great. It came with wheel locks, a half bra, sunroof, roof visor, window visors, rear spoiler, trunk liner, 6 disc cd changer, XM radio, Navigation system, grey leather interior with brushed stanless steel trim. Its very nice!!! Gas mileage is supposed to be 24 / city 34 / highway Most of my driving is highway. I LOVE it!!!

Take pics and let us see your car too! It sounds soooo pretty! Gray is pretty good as it hides dirt pretty good. Congrats on your buy! I wasn't sure about leather and kids, but leather is pretty kid friendly as long as you clean the mess up pretty quickly.


It's almost Midnight-
Well, I've gone cleaning crazy. I've been cleaning my house from top to bottom. My hips hurt pretty good too from all the bending. I've got one more room to clear out the family room. I need to mop, and clean the toilets. I'll be kid free for a while tomorrow so I should get all my jobs done w/ no hassles. My kids did pretty good cleaning the windows w/ glass cleaner and then doing some of the wood w/wood cleaner. Of course I had to go back over and then do the higher parts, but hey, there's one less portion for me to do. I've got to get to sleep all so I can get going in the morning. I've got to be some where by 9am. I hope to be on time! Thanks for listening to my extra rambling. Good night all!

Teaja, about the babysitting, I really wouldn't know what to charge. I guess it would depend on the total number hours she worked and the total number of hours you watched the baby. It sounds like a pretty easy job so you might want to charge some like a flat $20 a week or some thing like that. But with her making so little I'm not sure. Talk to her and she what she's comfortable with. By the way how is she making so little, isn't minmun wage over $7?

O.k., Cuddles, hows the cleaning going? I just got home from prepping for our special church svc. tomorrow. Its Friend day! Wanna come? Well, we're having a pot luck/pitch in and so, we had to clean, pass out flyers for next week's event (Free Easter Egg hunt) and so there was lots to do.

I just got home from the store and need to clean the last room of the house before I mop and clean the bathrooms. So, I gotta go...not to the bathroom...cleaning sillies!

Thanks for the babysitting info. I'm going to meet the baby tonight and talk w/the mom. DH says the amt. depends on if she plans on claiming the child care on her taxes. We'll see. Maybe I won't like this baby at all and it won't work out. insert evil laugh here. My kids are dying to see this baby. They thought it was coming out of my tummy! I said no, no, no. This is some one elses' little one.

Its a sad day for me today, ladies. A good friend of mine (a police officer) Killed his girlfriend last nigh and then killed himself. THey were both only 24 years old. I just talked to him a few days ago and he seemed very happy and positive. I have no idea what went wrong. It just breaks my heart.

I hope both families begin to heal from this horrible tragedy.

You know, I have a cousin (from dh's side) who killed himself last year. He thought if he killed himself he wouldn't be a burden to his wife and family anymore. That's how this cousin felt the last couple days of his life. Everyone close to him thought he was in the upswing of things.

Can I be proud to say,I didn't DIS at all yesterday. I'm babysitting! Since the mom is working as a convenience store trainee, her hours are super early. We're talking 5:30am-1:00pm.. She's only part time. I was so zapped yesterday, but I had to get through the day. I was barely functioning at 4pm, but I was a zombie taking dd to Walmart to pick up a kite for Kite Day today at 9:00pm last night. I was asleep by 10:30. So, The little kiddo (8mo) Evie Rose is in our exersaucer. So much for selling the baby stuff this summer.

AAAGGGG! So frustrated! My bff and I both work in banking so we have a ton of business customers that are always telling us to try out thier new business. Well one of her customers started one of those delivery services that gives you the choice of about 30 different resturants in your area and they delivery to your home. They even deliver Krispy Kremes to her house. Anyway their fees were low and it was delivered in great time. Well the first time the charge went through on my account it was an over charge. No big deal it was corrected in a day. But then the corrected amount was charged again and was pending on my account.

Now if you know how banking works, pending means that the funds don't actually leave but they are placed in limbo for a certain amount of time and can't be used. Well that was all resolved. So this morning, 3 weeks later there is a charged on my account and it's no where near the same amount as the first one. The account that we used is what we call our play account, kinda like, "once it's empty that's it", type of account. But with this charge being placed in pending it shows the account as overdrawn. I will make a deposit today, but it's at the bank I work at so it makes me look bad that I have an account that is overdrawn.

Plus this company had to key in my account number by hand to charge me again. It's too early to call and complain which I am glad about because I am NOT happy! Sorry this is so long, but I just hate getting screwed over! This is why I love love love online banking!!!!!

What a mess Amanda! I hope your able to get it cleared up quickly. THat happened to me at a resturant. We ate their and our bill was like $35.00. THey placed a hold for $150.00 on our accoutn that stayed on there for about 6-7 days. This was when we needed all our money and had no buffers in our account so it was a mess.
