Sorry I havent been posting much guys. I has dawned on me that I only have 9 days left in which to pack for 6 people, work full time, take the kids to taekwondo 4 times a week, and squeeze thanksgiving in there somewhere. I have been busy. We are getting very excited. I am sooooooooooo ready to go, work is giving me heck the past few days and the kids have been wearinf me out. I just want to relax. The Chakra chamber is calling my name as well as a BIG MANGO DAQUIRI!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, all! Guess you all thought I was lost in cyber space, huh?
NOPE! Just a sick child! Krystina has strep . She's in amazingly good spirits (when I had strep a few years ago, I was MISERABLE!), but she's more clingy than ever! Not much time for anything else. Hopefully she'll be feeling ALL better soon.

Congrats, to all of you who are planning another cruise (or two!) I've decided to give up on trying to convince DH to go again. Maybe hearing Krystina say "I wish Daddy would take us on the Magic..........." (which she says about every other day) will have some type of effect on him ).

Hey, I just realized/remembered yesterday that I NEVER got the postcard I sent myself from Castaway Cay! My mom never got the one I sent her, either! Did everyone else get yours?

Amanda (dzne ) : did you get your sign and the pillowcase? If not, it shoud be there soon cause I sent it over a week ago.

As Dzneprincess can confirm, I talk about my cats as if they were my children. I know that your not suppose to have favorites but my cat Kiluha has been with me since I was 21. He's even the screen saver on my cell phone. He outlasted husbands, boyfriends, moving to japan, and back, changing jobs and every other mile stone in my life thus far. He was my baby. Last night he was having troubble with what we thought was a hairball. We took him to the vet and it turned out to be his heart and that he was dying. To ease the obvious pain he was in we ended his struggle for him. I am so very heartbroken that I can't stop crying. I know that this may sound silly because he was my pet but he was more than that, he was my family. Please keep me in your prayers so that I can get through this. I still can't believe this has happened. I'm sorry to bring down the board with such sad news but I could really use the support right now.

I am so sorry for your loss. It isn't silly at all that you are grieving over the loss of a "family member". Just know that you did the right thing by ending his suffering.
I, too, have a "baby" who has been with me for over 7 years and was my "baby" long before I had Krystina. When I was pregnant, people would ask me if I was going to get rid of her (her name is KC ~ short for KittyCat, which one of my nephews named her when he was 3) now that I was going to have Krystina. My response: "Why did you give away one of your children when you had another?". I guess you can't fully comprehend the love and affection you share with a pet unless you have one. KC has always "been there" for me. When I lost my Grandma a few years back and I sat on my bed & cried (when no one else was around), it was KC who climbed up on my lap to snuggle up with me & tried to lick my tears as if to say "everything will be alright". She still sleeps with me, too. She only sleeps on my side of the bed, NEVER my DH's side.

Amanda, I hope you find comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering. Take care. Your DIS family is here for you.

Leonor- Hope Krystina's strep goes away quickly. Glad to hear her spirits are up though.

Amanda, sorry to hear about your "baby". i KNow exactly how you felle. I lost my Great Pyrenees in April and he was my baby for 10 1/2 years.
I'll be away from the boards for a few days. I have a funeral to attend tomorrow. A former police officer of ours was killed in the line of duty a few days ago. I was very close to him and this has been a very hard loss for me. They are including him in a trubute on Saturday, November 20th on America's most wanted.
That will be a nice thing. After that, its off to WDW for the weekend. Watch out Eeyore, here I come!

Leonor, I am sorry Krystina is sick, on the brighter side, it could have been 2 months ago, so thank God for small miracles.
EEYOREFan, I am very sorry to hear of your friend's murder I will watch AMW on Saturday.
Amanda, dont be ashamed to let those tears out over an "animal". It may have been just an animal to other people, but to you, it was a member of your family. I am very sorry to hear that you have lost him. I remember when you showed me his picture on your digi cam. I am thinking of you and Eric, and will be praying for you during this emotional time. Lots of love to everyone here! I feel like we have our own littlew community within this thread that no one else is privy to, and I have really enjoyed getting to know you all!

Oops, I am sorry Leonor, I did get the sign and the pillow case in the mail! I am sorry I did not post or email, I have been so busy, I just stuck in my cruise pile, and havent thought about it again, as I have not packed yet. I really appreciate the sign and thought it was very well done. I had a moment of panic because at first I did not see CJ's name on it. But then I saw it.

Knowing that I can go online and that all of you are there makes this an easier time to deal with is truely a blessing. I know that my beloved furry baby is in heaven with my grandmother and they are watching over us. Again thank you all so much for letting me use this thread as my support.

Much in part to the heart warming responces of my Sept. 19th family I am feeling better today. And how is it that Veranda man seems to catch all the cool shots! That is just beautiful. Well DH pointed out something to me. One, I miss the ship because I come on these boards and two these boards should help with my fix until we go again in 06. He's a strange man! And God help me I love him to pieces! Amanda how excited are you?!?!? or are you a little ?

OMG I JUST HAVE TO SHARE- I went on a thread to look at someone's cruise pics and she noted that a Travel Channel crew was on board! Here's the quote, Oh yea. forgot to mention. There was a film crew on board. They didn't want to say what they were doing but one of their ID's said Travel Channel. Picture DSC019055 shows one of them in a yellow shirt while we were approching CC.
