Have any of you seen the thread about the boy appearing on some one's veranda? She was so shocked, that of course she let him in and then he bolted out the door?! Apparently, it was a prank. Some prank! I'm shaking my head can you see it? (just kidding! )

Hi ladies, I'm still here, just been really really busy this week! Woooo hoooo!!!!! Decorating for Christmas! DH declared that our deposit for our next cruise will be our Christmas gift to each other!!! Wooo hooo!!! AND My dad pretty much committed he and my mom to going with us too!!!! YIPPEEEEE!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,

So sorry that I have been away from the board for so long. Things have been very busy around here. Heck, it's taken forever just to catch up on all the threads in our post. Great job for keeping that going girls!! Thanks.

That prank was ridiculous! Can you imagine?

I was sorry to hear of the losses for those on our Boards. Some of the reason I haven't been on the board was that I have been really busy and on standby talking with my sister in NY. A few days after we had gotten back from our 9/19 cruise my brother-in-law who is a captain in the Salvation Army was sent to FL to help with the hurricane relief. On his way to FL he was involved in a very severe car accident and was flown to a hospital where he clung to life support. He made it through the accident, but unfortunatley lost his leg in the battle.

Hope all is well with everyone and that their holidays are bright. I forgot how much it cheered me up to look at our thread! I will be back for sure!

That has to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard of! I mean sliding down the ship. Can anyone say deathwish! I know that teenagers think they are invinciable but come on! If that were my kid he would not only be grounded for a year but he would be grounded to spending the rest of the trip within my view! What a punk! I hope that poor poster was able to enjoy the rest of her trip!

As for Amanda (The other one) She should be back on Saturday. I can't wait to hear her trip report so I can secretly dispise her and be jealous! Hope everyone had a good week and a has a great Friday!

Scroll down to the bottom of the Thread title page. Look for "Display options". You can request all the way up to 100 days or even a year. But, you have to click display options each time you log in. UGH, that part is redundant!

Oh poor Amanda, todays is her last day on the ship! I think that has to be the worst day of the cruise! I hope she had a good time!

So how's everyone's weekend looking!?! I have to shop! I know that it sounds fun, but it might not be. (Insert sarcasm here) But there are gifts to be bought, boxes to be wrapped and bows to be tied. And for the sake of my little family I am willing to tough it out. (Again with the sarcasm!) Perhaps I might need to eat to keep up my stength and my favorite french bistro will be open! These are sacrifces I am willing to make! And if I should find a little something in the way of a cute sweater in my size I might just buy it to reward myself! Because that's the kind of wife I am!!!

Amanda, I just wrote my SIL about how I love to shop! I'm almost done shopping. I just need to find one more gift and then after that, maybe one more gift. LOL! . Any one want to go to the post office for me? You should see me, three kids, and a load of boxes to be shipped. Not a pretty sight.

I wish my family knew our short cuts for SIL, DCL, etc. I can't think of the word right now! Any way, I'm working on an online album and if every knew what the abreviations meant it would be so much easier for me! I'm using ImageStation and I can't get my pics to organize chronologically. Any one use ImageStation before? Their website is no help. Leonor, is that what you used for your online album? I need HELP!

I'm going through withdrawl too, as our Dizneprincess' cruise is ending. I hope she'll share all the details. O.k., not all the details as some might be TMI- too much info.

Leonor, maybe you could type your post in Word or Word Perfect, copy the text, and then paste it over here on our thread???? Just a thought.

Just had to share one more thing. My SIL said, "I spent 3 hours at the Disney Store- 40 min to get in, some quick shopping, then a little over 2 hours to pay. It was crazy!" . And I thought waking up at 4:30am to get to JCP was insane.

Just checked the Port cam, I don't see Amanda any where! I don't even see her car!

How come we have different color dots and exclamation marks at the bottom of our signatures???

The mother is in the car with her two kids and makes a deal with them if they behave while that are waiting in line to ship out gifts she will buy them anything they want. Knowing that the line will last forever and that there is no way they will behave that long she agrees to get them a puppy. Well at ups I guess there are no lines and the mother just stands there asking the guy if he's sure that's all. Then the next shot is of the mother walking to very hyper puppies. I will now think of you whenever I see it!

We are home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in vacation over depression mode though! I was very very bad, I told DH to give me his AMEX card to try to "fix" my 05-27-06 booking, to see if I could get the %10 off and the $200 rebooking. I walked away with 3 bookings! ACK! It is all Amanda01's fault though! I was only thinking of her and Eric at the time Anyways tenativley I have 09/05 4 day booked (same time as our cruise was) 05-27-06 7 day, and 09/16/06 7 day. I will more than likely NOT be taking both 7 days but it doesnt hurt to dream right?

I'm tired! We spent most of the day yesterday on the road. We woke up @ 3:30 am to drive 5 hours up to Austin so DH could get his new car (Infiniti G-35), since there is NO Infiniti dealership in our area. The closest is San Antonio (4 hours away), but DH couldn't work out a good deal with them, so he went with the Austin dealership. Anyway. We went up there. Spent a couple of hours signing paperwork & stuff & then drove straight back. Since he got a new car, we probably won't be cruising next year, but he did say that I get to get a new car when the lease on my Explorer comes up in May! The original plan (his, not mine) was to just pay it off & keep it. I'm excited already!

Brief trip report! Day one guys! LOL
Thanks RAC! It was awesome. We left Columbus Ga at about 530pm on Friday the 26th. It did not seem real! After months of waiting, it was finally our turn! I hated the idea of leaving so late, but my DH was not able to get that day off of work, and anyways it gave me more time to pack and clean house. When my son came home from school before the holiday, I about died when I saw his bookbag and how much work he had to do, so he worked on it thru the day. He still had to carry his bookbag tht was so heavy, I could hardly lift it. The kids did well on the drive down. We ended up getting to the Wingate Airport near MCO at about midnight. I won this on priceline and was very pleased with the room and the location. I would definitly stay here again! I packed us a one night bag, so we didnt have to haul all the luggage down. We took the kids in, our toiletries bag, and I was beat. I did the 2nd half of the driving, once we got onto 75. So from Valdosta to Orlando, I drove. We got ready for bed, but my son Nathan (18 months) did not want to sleep! That was a task! LOL I set a wake up call for 7am. and off to sleep I went with thoughts of Disney in my head

Welcome home Amanda! Get those kids busy unpacking and catching up on their school work so you can e-mail us more. Did you have any adventure like a port hole busting open or crazy pre-teens jumping onto verandas? I have stupid question, why was Hercules the most updated DCL stage show? How many years ago was that film? Did you get to see different stage shows compared to our 9/19? Just curious.

You know, I kept watching for the DCL ship to take off yesterday and never saw it. Does the Port Cam freeze for safety reasons? Since you really can't see very much of the breaker waters I kept thinking I was missing some thing.
Jennifer, when do you guys log on to watch the ships?
