I think this is the biggest response I've ever seen for a cruise I was going on...

I just remembered, I have a nice, bright, lime green blouse, I can wear....

does that count???

I seriously doubt ya'll will fail to recognize me, EVERYONE remembers me, once they see me... it's soo annoying sometimes, specially, when I don't remember them...


Also, is anyone else planning to stay at the Radssion hotel in Port Canaveral??? w/ the cruise package??? They have a nice pool and slide (dad is bumed about not being allowed on the one on ship)

We havn't booked yet, but plan to book it soon (I think we are waiting till Hurrican is over... )


just curious as to if any of ya'll will be there too...

I think anything lime green will count. We're sure to see anything colored like that.
We were going to stay at the Radisson, but since we couldn't get a flight earlier we'll just find a place when we get there. Can't justify the expense when we'll only be in the room about 7 hours. Our plane doesn't get into MCO until 11:40PM Saturday.

In addition to my alien green Mickey Ears (courtesy of Home Depot) I will try to throw some sort of article of clothing that's lime green in my suitecase.

I am still working on a place to stay when we come into MCO the night before. We are coming late also, around 8:15 PM. I was going to do some bidding on priceline, but have held off due to the hurricane.

Some really good friends of ours was supposed to fly into MCO tomorrow, but when she was keeping up with the weather reports the beginning of the weak she freaked out and cancelled hotels & air. If she had only waited, now she is finding out that if she hadn't cancelled she would have been able to change the air without any penalty because of MCO closing.

Anyway, lot's of pixie dust & prayers for those dealing with the weather this weekend!

It seems to be heading west... they are expecting that to turn into a hurrican in the next 4 to 5 days... it's still far out, but...

wondering if it'll be close enough to effect us???? I checked the rador on it...

HI all! We decided to hit the parks on Saturday, so I got us an AP rate at ASMu....$49 a night, beats priceline, at least I know where I will be at, and I can get a "fix" from the parks as well.
I have been also keeping an eye on Ivan. But I am not going to stress about him too much. NOthing I do can control it, and as long as I am able to get onboard I will be happy. THis seems to be a very active season for hurricanes though.

Does anyone have any idea when we might hear about the condition of CC? I know many post say the hurricane sat right on top of it. I hate the idea of paying to go on this cruise and not being able to stop at CC. That is the best part of the cruise. I really dont want another day at sea any thoughts of what they might do if we cant go? And I guess our next concern is Ivan. Anyone have any ideas? I guess I am glad that I bought insurance.

Well we got our docs and our travel agent never seemed to add or we didn't recieve our transfers from MCO to the port!!! I am smoking mad right now.. I paid for them three weeks ago.. My travel agent claims that Disney already had the docs made..They claim that it was too late to add them to our existing docs. But we should have recieved something seperate?Luggage tags and a paid receipt? But we never did..

We tried to add them to our package two months ago but our travel agent drug his feet calling us back to add it... I swear.. I have had NOTHING but problems with this Agency!!!! If I get NO straight answer from them on Tuesday I am speaking to thier boss/supervisor... I have had to call disney on two occastions just to give them info that the travel agent NEVER did!!!!!! I decided to call on my own just to check to make sure they had all our info and everything was correct? Glad I did because they had alot of stuff missing? If you ask me I have been doing all the leg work and I should NOT have to be doing ANY of this!!! What do you all think? Totally UNCALLED for don't ya think? When I call Disney on Monday I hope and pray for my travel agency's sake that they did place the order and they are in the mail!!!

Anyone ever had this happen to them?

I understand your concern... We had problems w/ one TA before, back in Dec...

Again, though the 'blue' tags in the booklet ARE your luggage tags... they just look different from MOST cruise line's tags....


So you DO have those... I remember you saying you had 'blue' ones... so does everyone else (magic's may be yellow, I presume)

Yeah but my concern is, arent these blue ones for if you drive to the port, then the emplyees know what state room to take them to? These aren't for the transfers are they? From the airport to the boat that is?

Here is a picture of one of the luggage tags in my book. Are these for the transfers? If so then I guess we do have them.. I thought these were for only if you drive to the port, and the crew has a way to get your bags to your room?

Anyone whom purchased transfers? Are your tags like these???

Luggage tags HAVE NOTHING to do w/ if you drive, fly, have transfer etc....


You will get a SEPERATE paper for transfers....


Those tags are for the people to get yours bags to the right stateroom on the ship...

We took RCCL's transfer before, and had the same luggage tags as everyone else....


So, all you need to know if IF they have charged/got you on the manifest for the transfer, and if NOT


fill out that coupon for the transfer in the booklet... it's in there, I saw it.

You don't get any tags for the transfer for luggage, all they do is put them in the van/bus and then get them out at port, w/ you directing which are yours, YOU get them to the people at the port w/ the tags you shown us, so they get it to your cabin.

The Tags you have are for transferring your luggage.


The next page past that in your book should be your "Transfer Coupon"

Your transfer coupon is the paper that you will hand in when you check in at the airport , to transfer you to port canaveral

On this page it tells you to sumbit this coupon for transfer.. You will only have one coupon per book. Since this coupon covers your whole transfer if you paid for roundtrip service.

Your coupon will go by what your Vacation Intenerary says..

You vacation Intenerary is on the second page of your travel booklet
