Thank you so much for posting this. I had already done it, but I thought I'd check again if we could change our seatst because on our Atlanta to Barcelona leg, we were in 41D, 42D, 43F, and 44F--not at all ideal for us. That's what happens when you book with DCL air. I've looked repeatedly for anything that would be better, but the flight has always been completely booked in coach. It has been a while since I looked, so I thought I'd try again. I got us 41DEF and 42D. That's my pixie dust for the trip!! Thank you, Walt!!

Well, I'm pretty sure that this is my official LAST POST on this thread before I see all of you on the 18th (and some of you on the 8th)!! I am leaving my office in about 10 minutes to change my clothes and go pick up Jason and head to the airport...and once our trip actually begins I doubt very highly I'll be keeping up with the boards....and if I try (with they way you guys get so chatty!!), I'm sure I'll give myself a headache. So I suspect that when I log off in just a few minutes, that I will not be coming back to the boards until during or after the cruise.

If anything important comes up on the thread that you think I should know, send me a PM or an email (I'm much more likely to read a PM when I get a notice than to try to sift through dozens of pages of posts).

Can't wait to meet everyone very very soon!!

OK so you posted this WHILE I was posting my other one...so this will be my last post...but we can still organize game nights and game days...sea days are a great time to play games and Jason and I aren't drinkers and so aren't always into the Rockin Bar D entertainment....so if people want to play games after 2nd seating some nights we're always game!! (pun intended)

Laura is in the air.....Hopefully she will text me when she is betwen LGA and JFK....looks like flight may arrive a little early to LGA....keeping fingers crossed that they make it. At least they are arriving into BCN a few days before the cruise!

Ok I found some masks. One is shaped like panics face but in purple. That is for hubby. I found a feather mask that has black feathers on one side white on the other Oh and cheap gloves that have a zebra stripes.

Now to find purple shirts and we are good to go. Will post pics later

Finally got through to the podiatrit's office after being transferred arround a few times because we were a 'priority referral'. They only had 1 appointment availalbe between now and the 16th and it didn't really work into our schedule. So the nurse referred us to a nearby office and I'm so glad. This other nurse was so pleasant and helpful. She offered to let us come in today! But since DS wants to try and brave it out for these next 2 Fridays, we scheduled his procedure for the morning of the 14th, with the caveat that we can reschedule if he can't bear it any more. Its a longer drive to this office, but the nurse was so nice and they were so accomodating, that I think we'll be happier here.

Well, I just made our listing for the flight back with Virgin Atlantic. Lets just say this is an hour of my life that I will never get back. Maybe I am too harsh on my guys for their call handling. Even my least efficient member of staff can get a listing done in about 10 minutes. Still, it is done and hopefully I get on the flight. If not there are other options as well like a later flight into Manchester and some flights into Gatwick with both Virgin Atlantic and British Airways.

I have to list also, but I will be doing it on our airline computer so not as bad as long as the website is up and running. Looks like I will have to go through Paris since I think everyone in the US is flying to BCN on our airline! That's a good thing. Good luck with your flights, we'll meet in Barcelona!

I'm with you on this! I tried on spanx yesterday and didn't like the fit or feel. No one here has met me so why give an unrealistic impression. Why not be comfortable!

Congrats - Just keep telling yourself that you are doing your patriotic duty by stimulating the economy. You alone may have saved someones job!! (Can you tell Fantasyland is one of my favorite places in DL?)

I need an intervention! Everything is laid out on my berth and I have my suitcases sitting next to it. I'm not sure what's on the bed will fit in the suitcase!

You didn't do too badly. Make sure you when you multi quote that you keep the brackets in the posts. You then post after the bracket from the original posters post. Do you understand what I mean?

Candy Apple - glad you got your seats changed. We are in twentysomething, but we booked through DCL and they gave us great seats through the whole flight. I was very pleased. Glad yours worked out.

Oh no ... thats really frustrating. Hope they don't charge you the overdraft fees.

well my bank said clearly it should not have happened and i would not be charged and any charges would be refunded

they increased my overdraft and assured me it would be sorted by tomorrow
