Laundry - the room was always busy - deck 7. Went down about 6.30 one day and all the machines were taken and people queuing - managed to get a load into wash. People were saying that the room on deck 6 had been closed as the people in the room opposite had complained about the noise. When i went back to discover that the machines (which are now electronically controlled) had gone off line. Those running were ok, but they could not be started once complete. They tried a restart a couple of times but after 45 minutes they were still not back up. I had a load a wet washing and couldn't get it dry. Someone phoned guest services and they agreed to wash everyones laundry for free. At that point i thought i would just take it back to the room and get it dry one the balcony. Once i got back to the room i changed my mind and phoned guest services, i was told to put it in a laundry bag and someone would come and collect it. I did put a note to say it only needed drying, but i think they washed it too - i guess it could have sat for a couple of hours before they got to it. I put it down as express and had it back later the same day. Point being, it didn't matter what time you went to the laundry it was busy! Personally, i didn't think the wash and dry service is very expensive and i think next time i will allocate $50 to do a few bits.

I don't understand how they can close the 6th floor laundry. Yes it may be inconvenient, but isn't that why you choose not to book the room next to the Laundry and where some gty's get "upgraded" to a room next store?
