Good morning everyone :goodvibes

After watching Titanic last evening one of my first jobs when I get in my cabin will be to work out the fastest route to the lifeboats :scared1::scared1:

I am hopefully getting by new computer today which will mean I can stop having to use DS's laptop, and more importantly I can start looking at making some door magnets. :woohoo:

Thought I would share some photos of some cute friends we have staying with us at the moment while their family is in Florida:

Oh dear, we both had a scary day re crossing the Atlantic didn't we? I wonder if we are actually doing the best cruise!!!:rotfl2:

Woohoo on the new lappie!!

Wow, those piggies are big!!!

Of course ... didn't you know, all of Thorntons products are completely fat free :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: and speaking of delicious choccies ... has anyone tried Hotel Chocolat stuff ....:love:

Oh, goodness me that Hotel Chocolat is just divine. But you need a mortgage to buy some!! We keep going in for the free sample, but I think they are getting to recognise us.:lmao: Just imagine what size we would be if we joined their chocolate tasting club!!!:scared1:

LOL! This is why I don't watch any of these programs! I have enough issues with Cruising with Stelleos and its issues!

Well I thought it was just on the building of the ship. I had forgotten all about the extra things they did to make it a liner rather than just a cruise ship, or I wouldn't have watched it. I sure stopped watching it though.;) There were some really interesting facts about the design changes and cabins etc, but my mind had gone by then.:rotfl2:

Have we gotten confirmation on the meal plans/themes that were listed in the navigator as well? That would be another piece of information that would be good to confirm. For example, that the rotation meals aren't the 1st three nights. (I thought I was safe booking Palo on night 4!)

It was confirmed by DCL direct (both previously and last week when I sent another email) and by conceirge a few weeks back.

LOL! Sarah you do not need anymore dresses!

Not really .... I only have:

1 formal dress ( which is a bit tight )
1 semi formal / Palo dress
3 cruise casual dresses ( 1 maxi / 2 cocktail length )

Still need:

2nd formal dress
1 villains themed dress
probably at least 1 more cruise casual dress.

Thats not too OTT is it? :confused3:confused3

Its a nice chocolate shop in the UK. They do very good chocolate including my favourite Lemon Swirl bar, which is white chocolate over a lemon mousse with a milk chocolate base and milk chocolate swirls!

My favourite is the capuccino continental truffle :love::love:

Cruising with Stelios ... now that is an eye-opener! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

We are addicted to cruise shows on Travel Channel, just to check out the ships and the ports of call.

I still love the random seethrough bathroom area they have! I would not be cruising with them!

Fair enough! I probably would have ended up watching it then! I still think I might end up watching the you-tube videos of rouge waves at some point in preparation just incase!

LOL no I'm sure that's fine! Doesn't sound as many when you think of how many nights the cruise is!

Sounds like Thorntons may be the way to go .... and don't go checking it out on GOOGLE ... it should be a surprise !!!!

Promise I won't go googling it - I do like some mystery in my life :rotfl:

i've been drooling over everyones chocolate choices... they all look great. i was trying to decide between australian chocolates and some dubai specialties. i'm thinking dubai specialties since there is a good chance no one has ever tried them before. :thumbsup2

I vote Dubai - that has me completely intrigued!

Then the shoes, handbags and do you need any special undies to go with any of them? :rotfl2:

Hi new to this thread. Doing b2b, Med and WBTA and then 3 weeks at AKL, all this to celebrate hubby's 60th. Spent all weekend just reading part 7. Nice to be part of one big happy Disney family. Although we now live in Perth, Australia, originally from London, Hubby from West Brom, and yes we adore Thorntons Chocolate. Hoping to pick up some whilst we pass through Heathrow Duty Free. Hope to meet you all soon.

Oh yummy hotel chocolate mmmm. Aztec hot chocolate!

Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop it!! If you carry on like this I will HAVE to go back in to town to BOTH those shops!!!:lmao:

Don't!! It was fine when I wasn't actually going on a Transatlantic cruise, but now it is another story and i don't want to know.;)

More Aussie Cruisers! Welcome! we are rapidly taking over the ship, i think there's five of us now (and one Kiwi even, but we like to include them as almost Aussie so they don't feel left out)

Sorry Sarah just read your post about keeping it as a surprise. Want me to edit mine?

Oh and yes I love capuccino too!

No ... hopefully thetaste will be the surprise :love:

Will be purchasing lots of new undies for the cruise, but I don't want to be accused of bringing THAT topic up again do I :rolleyes1 .... actually it was you who brought it up ;) Shoes will be an issue, but I am trying to co-ordinate, and I don't do handbags on the ship, just carry cameras etc.

Hi and :welcome: aboard. If you want to join in with any of our activities check out PAGE 1 and 2 of this thread. I believe there is a FE group going still and there are still a few lanyards.

Yes, me to i haven't seen any real good football. Normally the dutchplayers play a good game but not this world cup. But we three weeks fun in orange and tuesday they will have a party.

Well done to them anyway....now we must look forward to the Euros in 2012!:thumbsup2

Being from Canada, I didn't have a horse in the (World Cup) race - I was neutral, and hoping to see a good game. The Bronze medal match was much more entertaining.

But, having said that, I think the Netherlands was robbed by the referee when the Dutch striker broke away and the Spanish defender with long hair did everything but hit him with a lead pipe to slow him down, yet the referee didn't call a foul.

As one of the commentators on our feed said, the referee and his whistle was the most active man on the pitch! :sad2:

Sorry, Connie.

Hmmmmm, think we'll have to agree to disagree on that one......I think the ref allowed several Dutch players to stay on the pitch that may have been sent off by any other ref...so maybe it was karma....:rolleyes1

Hey All,

Was offline all day working on cruise projects----lanyards, sewing our new fish extender, making some FE gifts, vests/ties, etc. Now trying to catch up with the 15 pages behid I am! LOL

Yes I do...I was making bowties all day today...with disney princesses, the little mermaid and tinkerbell :)

They sound great!:thumbsup2

Dennis and I went to the mall today and did a bit of cruise shopping. :dance3: I got 4 dresses, one for each formal night and one for semi and one to wear cruise casual nights and in Barcelona to dinner on Thursday night. Dennis got several shirts, a pair of black dockers and a pair of shorts. We are set and got some great buys! One of my formal night outfits is a very pretty red skirt and jacket - knee length - and it was only $15! Woot! The floor lenght formal was only $45. Love those clearance racks!! :dance3:

That sounds like a fab shopping trip! :woohoo:

Sounds like a great shopping trip and some great bargains ... my kind of shopping ( which is why I like Ebay and the thrill of nabbing a bargain) My most expensive Ebay dress so far has been £33 ( for a brand new Per Una RRP £55, so that makes me very happy :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 )

Great bargains Sarah :woohoo:

Well to be honest he could have sent at least 2 of the Holland team off, and really should have rather than just given yellow cards. I guess keeping them all on was fairer all round then!:lmao::lmao:

Absolutely!

Yummy huge wonderful chocolates. Oh my!!! Obviously completely without calories!!!:lmao:
