I see that you've included information about getting lanyards. THANKS! Can I suggest a revision to what it says there?

First, my name is actually spelled "Erik" (with a K). I don't know who Eric is....but if he's showing up with lanyards, too, I'm gonna be real annoyed at all the work I put into getting the ones I did put together!! (just pulling your leg) (Also, my name is spelled wrong on the thanks page at the end, too)

Also you can absolutely publish our cabin #. It's 6584 and we will not be moving out of that room.

You can certainly keep the information about them being available at the DIS meet in the Promenade Lounge at 3pm. I'm 99% positive that we will be there for that. (We have not booked any activities in Barcelona even though they do have some excursions there. Since we're doing the B2B we are already gonna be on the ship the day of embarkation and so we were planning on going down to the excursions desk during the Med cruise and seeing if we could look at what they're offering that day in Barcelona and if there's anything fun and short and cheap, then we might add some kind of DCL day/morning trip----but I imagine that if we did that, all excursions would have you back to the boat by early afternoon so you can do the safety drill, right??).

Beyond that, I am planning to also be on Deck 10 overlooking the goofy pool during the Sail Away party with any lanyards that people don't pick up at the meet in the Promenade lounge. Anyone who hasn't picked up their lanyards by that time, our plan was to walk the halls of the ship after late seating is over delivering lanyards to people's rooms (hang them on their doorknob and/or fish extender).

Folks are welcome to stop by my room for their lanyards, but we likely won't be there. What WOULD be important is that if there are any people who change rooms and don't get their lanyards before dinner, they should either call my room or leave a note under my door with their new room number and their DIS NAME so we can get them their lanyards.

I will certainly be posting the directions above ad nauseam here as the cruise gets closer, but jsut so folks see that and we can maybe get it included in the mini-navigator. My goal is to have every lanyard out of my possession by the time I go to bed on Sept. 18th!!!

I made our pajamas two weekends ago. Matching Tigger & Roo pajama pants and hand painted T-Shirts to match, as well!

Sorry Erik! I'm awful with spelling! I think I have caught all the mistakes on this one!

Also the Navigator we're planning on sending out for people to print in advance and take with them onboard. Due to back to back cruisers like yourselves though I was planning on bring a few extra copies and was hoping someone else would too to ensure I don't forget anyone lol!

I tried to avoid showing my ingnorance and nosiness about Captain's Dining was versus Crew Dining (listed on the roll call). I checked the Disney Cruise Line site, looked it up on google and then called the Disney Cruise Line - I give. Could someone put me out of my misery and explain it to me?

I am the same way!! I love to find new writers especially if they use language like Elizabeth Peters.

Her novel use words like insalubrious, ratiocination, indefatigable or nihilism. She also uses phrases like dog in the manager or nil nisi bonum.

In the past 24 hours, there's been a little "something" nagging at me to get a Pacsafe, so I made a purchase for one tonight. I even pulled out the two bags that I usually choose from to carry on vacation that go over my chest in hopes that I could feel confident that they'll be okay, but it didn't make the feeling go away. I'll just take it as a sign that there's a good reason I've had that flutter in my mind to get one.

Well, I got myself all prepared for it ... got a lift from my Mum ( can't drive due to the hand ) and when we got there I had got the wrong day .... dentist appointment is tomorrow. So tomorrow we get to do it all again.

Well, you could have him wear the Chipmunks boxers like TotallyAngelic Sarah got Tony!

Boxers arrived and they were the wrong size. Way too small. I ordered a bigger size and they sent a small one ... lets just say Chip and Dale's nut storage was a bit lacking Hope to exchange them for a bigger size.

Yes the hunt can go in there if you want I don't mind. Just need it before the final version.

I think we will be bringing the scavenger hunt sheets separately and distributing them via Fish Mail. If the sheets go out ahead of time some cheeky peeps may google the answers

Awwwwww ..... Captains Dining is early seating and Crew Dining is late seating ... so named because our Captain ( DisneyVegas ) has early seating.

Thank You ... I know I just have my son Destin and I on the roll call ... I hadnt added Helen cause we didnt know for sure if she would be able to make it ...(were still going through immigration process , we finally have our interview and hope it gets approved on July 28th) , then we have to get her Schengen Visa for most of the Med trip so we have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off ... all this and we still dont know if my step son Sean (Helens) son will make it ....He is listed and paid for to go but dont know if we will be able to get him from Manila prior ....If he does make it , he will probably fly to the states around Sept 3rd , then turn around and fly with us to Spain on the 6th ....And all this is provided he gets his Schengan approved later today (its actually Wednesday in Manila right now ) at the Spanish Embassy in Manila ...

So if he does get approved for the Schengan , then it will be US immigration's turn to expedite his paper work .. so we are working on it ferociously ...

This is why I am not on the boards much, because were so tied up with my regular work plus getting everything in line for Helen to become a Legal Resident here in the States ....

Don't worry we porobably should have put a definition somewhere. Captain dining is Early dining Crew is late!

OK thanks to Penny and her marvels she has managed to get out a preview copy of the navigator! Warning this is the first preview and I expect there to be mistakes so please point them out! Sandi (Hoagie Pie) appologies for the spelling mistakes as I think I caught some and not others on your name!

Anyway the end document will be a duplux version that can be printed then folded into a booklet but this is just the main pdf version.

It should be helpful for those first timers out there and seasoned DCL's
alike hopefully. If anyone thinks of anything else to add let me know. As said before I've left out the Dis Name list as it seemed the best idea for now as most people are waiting on room assignments
