:worship::worship: Puts me to shame!!

We usually manage 1 and 1/2 laps of Deck 4!!! It gets so boring!!:rolleyes1 However we do walk up and down the stairs almost all the time.:littleangel:

Don't think I'll manage much more than that....(if that):rolleyes1:thumbsup2

we are only doing one per cabin, as well

me too hope that's ok!:)

43 years ago I married Dennis so that I would NEVER have to do math! He has one of those math minds. :upsidedow Of course, he was a very handsome soldier as well, which did not hurt.

:lmao: That's funny Angie....just the same with Mark & I too.....he does the maths, I write the letters!:woohoo::lovestruc

:littleangel:

my problem is the opposite - my favorite wine is Rosa Regale and here in the states I can buy it for about $20 a bottle - but on the ship it is $65 :scared1: and not on any wine package :(

I am hoping that somewhere in our travels in Europe I will be able to find a bottle to bring along with me :)

Don't count on it! I love Rosa Regale but you can't really get it anywhere in the UK at least. Occassionally it appears in Costco but then you need a card to purchase from there!

Are you in two fish extender groups??

I'm being greedy lol! No I'm doing 2 because 1 is actually my Mother's group but they are still trying to sort out work so put me down for now until they are confirmed! I'm making the gifts for both of us!

I'll send it over Joanne!

Thanks!

Thanks for the compliment. With all the catching up, I forgot to tell you guys about what my DH did for me.

My DH John surprised me with a new computer when I came home yesterday. I have been debating about getting a new notebook since my Sony Vaio is getting pretty old. I want the new Sony but don't like the price tag for what I want.

John bought me a new HP Pavilion DM3-1035dx refurbished for under $400. I just want something really light to take on the cruise and it is just the ticket!!

Oooo, nice. We bought a Toshiba netbook for the cruise due to its light weight. We're quite please w/it.

Here are some photos from Rocky Mountain National Park.

Just beautiful!

Looking forward to meeting you too. Bob is 6'4, and will be wearing a Hawaiian Shirt. I am 5'2, blonde and the right weight if I was 6'2.

Val

That's funny. My DH is also 6'4" and I'm 5'2, but I've got brown hair and a lot of years on you. And after looking at your pic, I guess I'd be the right weight if I were 7'2" :rotfl: . I don't know about you, but we always get a lot of funny looks when we walk together. I used to joke about getting death threats from tall women :rotfl2: .

:lmao: That's funny Angie....just the same with Mark & I too.....he does the maths, I write the letters!

Maybe it's a guy thing. We're just the same. I swear the day we got married, DH spontaneously forgot the birthday and anniversary of everyone in his family :lmao: .

This is for those of you who can use Picaboo (I'm not sure which if any countries are excluded).

In 2008, as a Christmas gift for my mom and grandmother, I created a photo book of our three-generation DCL cruise. I have been planning to make one for this cruise, too, because it's a terrific way to summarize your memories to share with others or to look at from time-to-time!

There's a website called Groupon that has daily deals (or on Fridays, they are for the whole weekend). Today's special (good through midnight Sunday going into Monday EDT) is for Picaboo photo books!! It's a $100 value for only $25, and you have a year to use it and can use the GC over multiple purchases.

If you want an idea of how these turn out, feel free to browse one that I had made from our September 2008 cruise. I just LOVE these books! There are several faces in there that you'll be seeing in September in this album link!!

PS: The free software you get to design your book is good for PC and MAC. If you want a better understanding of how it works, here's Picaboo's link for their website: http://www.picaboo.com/index.html

don't forget the football conditioning, and now that Dylan is traveling, you can drag his butt out there too

Since I'm in the middle of switching from Charter to Verizon Fios, (on my phone) what time does the ship actually depart from Barcelona? By the time I find the answer, someone here will have been able to relay the info.

Is anyone flying in the day of? Working on something and may need to get a last minute flight in.

TIA

Hoagie Pie's family and our family both arrive in Barcelona on the 18th. We fly in together from Atlanta.

Cocunut, Pomegrantate and Strawberry FE Members:

This may seem like a weird thing to ask but I need to know if there are adults in your cabin that do not live with you (like a grandma or a singles sharing a cabin) my gift is something that I want to make sure everyone in the cabin has one to take to their house as a keepsake - having done one cruise before with someone who was a friend in our same cabin and having to share everything (navigators, FE's, etc.) was not so much fun and so now I realize this is an issue so I want to have something for every "household" even if they are sharing a cabin.

So please let me know if you are in one of the FE groups and have an additional adult that doesn't live with you normally.

Thanks!

Krisann

Just one family here.

Dont sweat it , We are only in one but were giving to anyone who has a fish extender ...the FE gift that we got we had to order 1000 of them to get a deal ... so needless to say on the first Sea day we will be starting at the bottom of the ship and working our way up dropping our FE gift off at every FE hangin outside a door ...
:thumbsup2

This is definitely a more fun way to exercise than Deck 4, except I stop too often to look at everyone's doors, so I can't count it as cardio!!

I wont have to worry about Dylan he will be in the gym or out with me on Deck 4 ...hes been training alot lately ....we need to get Trevoy out there with us

Update on the lost hearing aid. No, the theme park didn't find it. But our audiologist has managed to find a pair of brand new hearing aids that were overstocks and a few models behind the current release so they can't be sold as new. She is giving them to us at no cost! :cool1: We just need to purchase new ear molds, which is the part that actually goes in the ear. And she referred us to a state program that gave us a free adapter that allows DS to listen to his ipod through the hearing aids. No more switching between the two which is what led to him losing it in the first place. He had taken his ipod off and didn't fully put the hearing aid back on, then when he realized it in the middle of the ride, he reached up to adjust it and knocked it off.

:jumping1: :cool1: and :jumping1: :dancer:

You are talking about the 2005 EBPC ???

That family.... had their table next to ours at every meal:scared1::scared1:

Annie:rolleyes1

Oh yes, they run together after a while. My favorite memory of this was the little boy that was trying to look under her skirt while she was standing at the customer service desk while we were in Lumiere's. Of course, it was my DH who noticed what the boy was doing. I was too busy trying to distract my youngest from looking. And this was during lunch. :sad2:

Masonic garage was going to be my suggestion too. I am personally taking the cable car from work there and probably a cab home. I will be the single woman in her mid-30’s with blonde/brown hair and blue glasses at the bar at least 1 drink in by 6 pm (this week has been a killer). I will also have my Disneyland across the shoulder purse with me. 
I am so excited to meet everyone tomorrow.
