Since I'm in the middle of switching from Charter to Verizon Fios, (on my phone) what time does the ship actually depart from Barcelona? By the time I find the answer, someone here will have been able to relay the info.

Is anyone flying in the day of? Working on something and may need to get a last minute flight in.

We are flying in the day of - we seem to be the ones getting in the latest!

Masonic garage was going to be my suggestion too. I am personally taking the cable car from work there and probably a cab home. I will be the single woman in her mid-30’s with blonde/brown hair and blue glasses at the bar at least 1 drink in by 6 pm (this week has been a killer). I will also have my Disneyland across the shoulder purse with me. 

my problem is the opposite - my favorite wine is Rosa Regale and here in the states I can buy it for about $20 a bottle - but on the ship it is $65 and not on any wine package

I am hoping that somewhere in our travels in Europe I will be able to find a bottle to bring along with me

Right question to all those in the Pomegranate and Kiwi FE Groups - please could any adult only cabins PM me that would like Silly Bandz? I ask because they have arrived and I seem to have loads of stuff now so have decided to put the bands in for cabins with kids and also anyone who wants some in an adult cabin rather than giving them to every cabin - although may still end up being every cabin lol.

Are you in two fish extender groups??

Cocunut, Pomegrantate and Strawberry FE Members:

This may seem like a weird thing to ask but I need to know if there are adults in your cabin that do not live with you (like a grandma or a singles sharing a cabin) my gift is something that I want to make sure everyone in the cabin has one to take to their house as a keepsake - having done one cruise before with someone who was a friend in our same cabin and having to share everything (navigators, FE's, etc.) was not so much fun and so now I realize this is an issue so I want to have something for every "household" even if they are sharing a cabin.

So please let me know if you are in one of the FE groups and have an additional adult that doesn't live with you normally.

OK.....I'm a little confused.....I guess I hadn't been paying close enough attention....but some people are in multiple fish extender groups and others are in only one (like myself)-----Did people request to be in multiple groups? Are we supposed to be in only one or more than one? And then if you are in only that one then you are only making FE gifts for the cabins that are actually in the list that you are in, right?

Sorry if I sound completely stupid and out of the loop....but I saw people posting about giving to multiple FE groups and I paniced. Jason and I have already started making our FE gifts. Because we have so much room and weight in our luggage being taken up by the lanyards and name badges, we are making only a PER CABIN fish extender gift (rather than per person) and we are only making 13----for the other 13 people on the Kiwi list....but I don't want to have accidentally done it wrong and find that we get aboard and we're not giving gifts to people that are supposed to be getting them from us!!

No you are perfectly correct Erik. Some people chose to be in more than one group. I, like you, are just in the Kiwi group only. I was worried about weight too so I only chose to be in one group. Some people are in 2 groups and some are in 3. I am bringing something for every child though, even those who are not in my group, because kids especially like getting surprises.

Dont sweat it , We are only in one but were giving to anyone who has a fish extender ...the FE gift that we got we had to order 1000 of them to get a deal ... so needless to say on the first Sea day we will be starting at the bottom of the ship and working our way up dropping our FE gift off at every FE hangin outside a door ...

We usually manage 1 and 1/2 laps of Deck 4!!! It gets so boring!! However we do walk up and down the stairs almost all the time.

Thanks for the question, I'm still trying to figure this out myself. Also I am still looking into how to get to Montserrat Monastery. I think I'm leaning towards the train to cable car. Any suggestions?

Last May, we used Pepito tours on cruise embarkation day. They picked us up at the hotel and loaded all our luggage. Magada was our guide. She was very knowledgeable, flexible and fun. First, we went to Gaudi's Park Guell which is a way outside of central Barcelona. We really enjoyed having a guide to learn so much of the park's history and architecture. Then we went on to Monserrat which is a spectacular and spiritual place not to be missed. We had a great tour there including the famous boys choir at noon. After that, we went directly to our ship.

Pepito tours (like all private tours) are expensive but we really think they are worth it, especially if you can join up with another couple or family.

We go to the fairmount st andrews with work for weekends, man, it is an amazing hotel.

...CRICUT ( I wish ) Now I don't even have a professional die cutter or anything like that. I will be using my own version ie. a pair of scissors Now are we just supposed to be exchanging embellishments for scrapbook pages. Just need to get myself straight with what I am doing....

Make/bring whatever you want. I think the "embellishment" comment was established only to make it clear that the expectation was that you do not have to bring stuff to make a full page.

Have you seen any straight-edge trimmers for paper and photos in your stores? I can't live without them! In fact, I have 3 in two sizes!

....I've just been working on my FE at long last......I wanted to add some little embellishments onto it...until my glue gun ran out of glue! My sewing is very sloooooooow..... it is nice to do something cruise related though!

It's exciting, isn't it?!!! I'm going to be so lost with no cruise to-do's come October.

That reminds me that I neglected to mention that another thing I saw when I was at Target last night were several new Silly Bandz-type bracelets that I haven't yet seen. The generic shapes were made by an off-brand, plus they had some made by Collect-A-Bands that included licensed characters sets like Shrek and Looney Tunes. Kroger grocery stores also had baskets full of Silly Bandz yesterday, too. So likely all Kroger companies (Dillons, King Soopers, Fry's, Ralph's, City Market, etc.)have them across the USA.

I love math and stats. I tried to help a friend in college. I kept saying to him doesn’t this just make logical sense to you. I think it takes a special mind. I considered being an actuary back when I graduated, but I ended up with a different path in life. Who knows maybe I will do something more math based in the future.

43 years ago I married Dennis so that I would NEVER have to do math! He has one of those math minds. Of course, he was a very handsome soldier as well, which did not hurt.
