Hi! My mom went online last night, it was her 90 day mark, she went to sign up
for Palo brunch and tea...it was already gone! She was a little upset with this, it
is one of the few things she,my grandmother and great aunt really want to do.
She called DCL and she was told that gold and platinum members took the ressies.
Anyone else run into this? She is really upset and disappointed. Any suggestions

It is my understanding that they will release more for the 75 day mark, and that they hold some back for people that want to book once on board.

Since you're new to DISboards, you'll discover that there are many Forums. One of which is Games, which is a great place to bump your posts up to 10 so you can send Private Messages. Here's one that you can easily just post to several times to get yourself up to 10.

We fly to Barcelona on the 17th with Easyjet from Doncaster and are staying at the Marriot Reannaisance for the night....

Since you also can't send PMs yet, I took the liberty of taking your posted pre-cruise travel plans on the lists that I'm maintaining in Post #2. I looked up the EasyJet flights out of DSA. Looks like there's only one, departing at 5:2o pm and landing at 8:50 pm. Is that yours?

We just got home from spending the morning jet skiing with some of my family, Girls had a hoot. Even my Dad got out there, and was having a jolly time until my brother sprayed him down, He came back drenched from head to toe, all in good fun though. Remember it's winter here too! Brrrrrr!....

Does anyone know what nights are the theme nights? especially the pirate night, as I want to book Palo, and don't want to miss the pirate night.

Try to tell her not to fret yet. These are not ALL the reservations they have. They release only a percentage of reservations to be made on-line at each of the milestone dates. So if nothing shows up between now and when she flies over to BCN, just make a trip to Rockin' Bar D as soon as you get on-board to make a reservation.

My window is 5th July, I'm not too fussed though as we are doing most port excursions with another Dis family privately. Would just like a Palo dinner and some Spa services. Fingers crossed.

You all sound like very experienced cruisers. This will be our family's 4th Disney Cruise. It will be me, my dh age 39 (he will be turning 40 while on the med cruise on 9-15), ds age 12, dd age 8, and g-ma (my mom). This will be g-ma's first ever cruise, so she is very excited! I signed up on the "roll call", but would also like to do the FE group, scavenger hunt, etc. It all sounds like so much fun. We are also interested in the West Madeira private excursion. This will be our 3rd DCL cruise and can't wait We bought DVC at Bay Lake Tower last year while on the Magic and have booked this cruise with DVC points (only 330 for both of us )

Sorry everyone .... unfortunately I have cracked a bone in my hand after I slipped down the last 2 stairs in my hallway and caught my fall with my right hand on parquet flooring .... a very very small thing really but they made me have an x-ray when I popped to the A and E for some support bandage to help me write my notes in my shift. X-ray showed a crack in a bone so now it has a splint ( no cast though ... I begged not to have one of those ) and I am "supposed" to rest it for a week, so I got signed off work. Not much you can do as a midwife with no working right hand. Not too painful unless I press on the spot or try and pick anything up or move in a certain way. I feel a bit of a fraud really.



Glad you managed to get mostly what you wanted. I guess will be having a DIS meet in Rockin Bar D on embarkation day.... see you in the Brunch line !!!!

Although I know not everyone has chosen to have their flight and hotel info posted, you might want to check out Post #2 to see if that will ring a bell as to who you were thinking about.

I previously posted that I was thinking about looking into the private tour in Barcelona...however, we are arriving on Saturday at 7:55 a.m. Not sure if I am the one you were thinking of or not.

I am going to try to obtain some information about the private tour but we're not sure if we are going to do that or just do the hop-on hop-off bus when we arrive.

I have had problems with high heels as well ever since I damaged my left ankle on a school field trip when I was 14. I wore ballet slippers on my wedding day as I could not find any wedding shoes without heels and the ballet slippers were ivory satin. I think that is one reason why I love floor length gowns so much, because you can't see what is underneath.

Having said that, last year I found some Crocs with heels that are really comfortable and don't make my ankle swell if I wear them. I got a blue pair last year and bought some black ones for the Med cruise, which I wore every evening.

I ordered our tickets today thru DVC for the night of the 3rd what a deal it was only 53.95 per person. Is anyone else doing it. I'm also doing the race on the 2nd so wish me luck. My best is 18 min miles so far and im afraid of being swept.

I think it is just starting to sink in that we leave in 87 days.

Who says you need to wear heels to wear a ball gown?? Wear the ball gown and whatever shoes you want. Then again I have the hardest time finding shoes so I wear what I can find.

Noel, how did you get on?
i got most things I wanted except bruch, oh well, not the end of the world, but that was pretty annoying this am I can tell you, I also booked dinner at palo, exotic rassul x2, snorkol at tortola and personal trainer on a sea day for an hour, always been really curious about this, although I am a bit shy and may cancel.Not enough time on cc this time for parasailing.
I agree, its nice your dh hepls with planning, Len says " yes, whatever you think" sometimes I like it,sometimes I wish he would make a decision.

I did get what I wanted finally after 1 hour and 42 minutes of fiddling around with the the website. I am thinking about doing the personal trainer too.

Telll her not to fret. They will open up more, folks will cancel and she can go to Rockin Bar D when she gets onboeard. After all this is Disney where Dreams do come true.

Went on line booked Palo dinner for Sunday - no brunch available - land & sea in Tortolla then went and did a car boot, we were up anyway!

Came back logged on and everything had gone, got back the dinner ressie but land and sea fully booked and still no brunch The tortolla trip was the only one we were going to do with Disney!!

I'm up for the mini meet in Rockin bar D seeing as though I'll be in the queue too! Mum will be be camping out in the handbag queue!

Yes, that is the system and how it goes. The more cruises you take the earlier you can book your reservations. As you have read though, they do open up other times you can book, and if not get to Rockin Bar D as soon as you get onboard. If you still can't get a reservation, then get waitlisted and you will probably get what you want!!! Tell your mum not to get upset any more!

You know what surprises me? They only use a few tables for High Tea, and when so many people want to book one I just don't know why they don't use more. Perhaps with having brunch on the sea days too, then dinner that staffing is a problem???

I think 4 p.m. is the all aboard time and we leave port at 9 p.m. We all have to be onboard by 4 because we will have to do the boat safety drill. Can't remember where I read this though.

According to my phone call to DCL yesterday, ALL ABOARD is 4 PM and we sail at 9:31 PM.
