You can't get on your account at all?!?! That stinks!! :( :( :(

I got on just long enough to make sure our 2nd stateroom "really" has all our excursions confirmed that we booked by calling concierge. They were there. Then I bopped over to see about Palo brunch- as that's all we're interested in doing this time (seeing as how we've never done Palo brunch!) but they were already all taken.
wow those were gone quick.
Did anyone get Palo brunch at all that's on this thread?
I guess maybe we'll ask about it after we board and see if we can- but if we can't get Palo brunch... ohwell, I won't cry about it. haha

I really thought there would be more bookings available for Palo brunch because it's only on sea days- right? And there's a lot more sea days on this cruise! But gosh... no such luck.

I hope everyone gets things booked what they want/etc.! Sending you all pixie dust!

We were able to get Palo brunch when we booked on the 5th.

Your reservation is currently unavailable please try again in 20 minutes.:confused3:confused3

Frustrating!!

Well that's just wrong!! My ressie says my cruise is 89 days away. :confused3 We ARE on the same cruise, right! :lmao:

I was wondering if you booked a pre-cruise hotel stay or airfare through the DCL website, and if so, if that would be throwing off the count until your vacation starts.

Wow! I'm surprised to hear there were/are problems for some. So sorry!!!

I got all I wanted except Palo Brunch, which was first on my priority list to reserve. I've gone back several times to see if by chance it opened up, but as suspected, it hasn't. The last couple of times I tried, I also noticed it was slow. I'm not worried about it though. It will happen.

BTW, I'm still seeing lots of Palo dinner openings in case anyone is wondering.

I got a brunch on the 4th try (after stepping away from Palo and booking other things.) Keep the faith!

A big  to those who can't log on! I hope you can log on soon! pixiedust:

I managed to book our excursions and palo. :cheer2: I booked Palo for 9/24 and I hope this date isn't a special event night.

Good night and Good luck everyone!!!! :hippie:

My cheat sheet says the 24th is Theme Night, whatever that is.

I was able to get a brunch finally this evening, though there was only 1 choice showing available.

Are Spa villas available to book online, and if so, did anyone see any available? Folks keep saying you can book them online, but either I'm missing them or they are already gone.

Swimming or taking a small boat to catch us? :lmao:;)

Maybe DH's boat can do a de-tour and meet up with the Magic in the middle of the ocean. :rotfl2:

I cant believe that after all this build up it wont let me into my reservation !!!

I am still not in. I set a timer for 20 minutes and hope then it will let me in without all the issues. It tells me my account is not available now try again in 20 minutes. I can get in but keep giving errors.

Hope you guys manage to get sorted out soon.

I managed to get some of the things we wanted, and have even booked some excursions in ports we were going to do on our own. However, no Palo brunch for us either.:sad2:

Now, I can't sleep.

1 hour and 42 minutes after booking opened, with numerous drop offs, sign on after 20 minutes messages, I have finally have booked our shore excursions.

Not really that much else to book as can't do rain forest online and don't plan to Palo other than Ladies Tea. I will look for some spa specials.

We just got home from spending the morning jet skiing with some of my family, Girls had a hoot. Even my Dad got out there, and was having a jolly time until my brother sprayed him down, He came back drenched from head to toe, all in good fun though. Remember it's winter here too! Brrrrrr!

Well I hope all the silvers got what they wanted....... eventually.
My window is 5th July, I'm not too fussed though as we are doing most port excursions with another Dis family privately. Would just like a Palo dinner and some Spa services. Fingers crossed.

I don't think that is weird at all!

Me neither! But was happy to give him the kids for the night regardless! :thumbsup2

I sure hope there was no fee attached with my payment. If so, please let me know!!!! So you all are arriving on Thursday? I could have sworn someone was arriving on Friday morning. <sigh>
We arrive Friday lunch time?

I love all the gorgeous gowns people are buying!! I wish I could sew as I found this fabulous Vogue pattern that has all the combos I want.

Have you tried Etsy? There are lots of talented sewers on there?

I remember going to his retirement party and hearing these words, "When you ask Walter Johnson if it can be made and he says, yes, it can, it will be made. He can make something in one hour without plans that most men would take eight hours with plans."

He sounds like a great Dad, I hope the special memories bring a smile to your face on Father's Day.:flower3:

Just loved the Crocs high heels but can't wear them I tried and just didn't work!! :headache:

Love my crocs, not the high heels, just the flats, they are so comfy! I always said I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair, until.....4 or 5 days into our month a WDW my feet were bleeding and swollen and I bought a pair of pink Mickey mouse crocs out of desperation. I am converted, Now we all have them!

Dcl has availability now for the dolphin swim. These are the time slots:)

Oh Gosh, Shhh, Don't tell Eric, he'll scream! :scared1:

Who says you need to wear heels to wear a ball gown?? Wear the ball gown and whatever shoes you want. ;) Then again I have the hardest time finding shoes so I wear what I can find.

I am going to pack some embellished (sparkly & blingy) flats to wear with my formal dress just in case of rough seas. High heels and a rocking ship don't go well together! :rolleyes1

Lol! That's awesome! I wish Gus was as into the planning as your husband! He just wants to show up and collect on all my hard labor!!

Mine too, he doesn't want to know anything until we're on the plane!

Do you mean too large for 6, and too small for 7?

Woody

I got you Woody :thumbsup2

Sorry you had so much rain. I am afraid my idea of "camping" is a motor home with a tv and microwave. We watched some people next to us in a tent during a horrendous rainstorm just huddling in the tent.

DH went over and invited them over for coffee and the kids for a microwave popcorn and a DVD movie
.

There are still some nice people left in the world :flower3:

Recycling is so 2009, Upcycling is the in thing. Just found a fab blog from this lady in LA who creates a new dress every day from an old garment, on the budget of $1 - some really amazing stuff http://newdressaday.wordpress.com/

True, just like Gok!

Different time zone, yes, but you're time for the same day is AHEAD of their server. As always, it doesn't make any sense, and leaves a terrible taste in people's mouth.

It is so confusing with the different time zones, My window opens 5th July, but I have absolutely no idea when that is my time in Australia? My brain is hurting just thinking about it!

Hope you all got everything you wanted booked tonight. My family and I are new to the DisBoards. We are doing the last Med and the TA, back2back. I have just finished reading about 100+ posts. You all sound like very experienced cruisers. This will be our family's 4th Disney Cruise. It will be me, my dh age 39 (he will be turning 40 while on the med cruise on 9-15), ds age 12, dd age 8, and g-ma (my mom). This will be g-ma's first ever cruise, so she is very excited! I signed up on the "roll call", but would also like to do the FE group, scavenger hunt, etc. It all sounds like so much fun. We are also interested in the West Madeira private excursion. I tried to PM Noel, but wasn't able to til I have 10 posts.

Welcome aboard to a fellow California cruiser. I will be looking forward to getting a PM from you. This is also our 4th cruise.

I had to share this with the DIS board as no one else would understand. DH and I have spent the day finalizing our plans for shore excursion, he on his notebook and I on mine.

However, he has hooked my computer up to our 60" HD TV so he can watch my posts and when I go online to book the shore excursions.

He has just finished giving me his inputs on Castaway Cay. DH told me he is feeling sad just like our trip is ending. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl2: Many ladies here are very jealous of you having a husband who takes an interest!!!

ARGH!! I feel your pain.:headache: Reminds me of the WBTA....:sad2:

:headache::eek: Took me over 5 hours to get one reservation!

For some reason, I was under the impression we could book 2 Palo dinners due to the length of the cruise, but it will only let me book one.

No, only one reservation, but you might eventually get a 2nd during your cruise. Concierge/suites can book more I believe.

Welcome. I am Hayley and will be travelling with my DH Terry and 2 DD's who will be 8 & 9. This is our first ever cruise! :goodvibes

Now I am getting that error 404 when I put rezzy number in and castaway club says..........Sorry, the application is Closed for Maintenance.

:headache: have to go and do some work now.

Don't all feel too downhearted. If you go straight to Rockin Bar D you should be able to book Brunch and perhaps High Tea. If they are full then, get your name down on the waitlist. On our WBPC everyone who wanted a reservation did actually get one eventually. They phone you/leave a message during the cruise.

Thanks UKANGEL - that worked eventually - 27th times the charm!

thanks Mandy :hug::hug: that worked ....:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2Have booked the 2 excursions I wanted, but had to get Palo on a port day as the sea days were 9pm or one of the more specialised nights in the main dining rooms. Booked it for Madeira .... but might change it yet.

No brunches though :sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2:

glad to help!:thumbsup2

Thats rubbish Lyn!:sad2::sad2:

Off to see dd today and pick up the bulk of her things from her house share. The lease runs out next week and she has another week before her new flat share starts for next term.....a day of driving, then fetching and carrying and loading for us....but it does mean I get to see my baby!:cool1::hug:

Have a good day everyone:)

Hi everyone, some great info on this thread, I just thought I would introduce myself (be gentle lol)
There is me, Tim and my DW Kerrie, we are from Yorkshire in the U.K. and love everything Disney, we got married in Florida in 2003 on our first trip together to WDW and have been back every year since. This will be our 3rd DCL cruise and can't wait  We bought DVC at Bay Lake Tower last year while on the Magic and have booked this cruise with DVC points (only 330 for both of us :thumbsup2 )
We fly to Barcelona on the 17th with Easyjet from Doncaster and are staying at the Marriot Reannaisance for the night.
I was also up at 5am this morning and managed to get Palo dinner for the day and time that I wanted as well as the 2 shore excursions I wanted, but you can add me to the growing list who couldn't get brunch :sad1: so I will keep checking online or try onboard.
Looking forward to getting to know you all better (I think I know a couple of you already) not long now :banana::banana::banana::banana:

Tim

Hi and welcome Tim and Kerrie. I know you from elsewhere, but i didn't know or notice you are from Yorkshire. Where abouts? We live in Harrogate.

Noel, how did you get on?
i got most things I wanted except bruch, oh well, not the end of the world, but that was pretty annoying this am I can tell you, I also booked dinner at palo, exotic rassul x2, snorkol at tortola and personal trainer on a sea day for an hour, always been really curious about this, although I am a bit shy and may cancel. Not enough time on cc this time for parasailing.
I agree, its nice your dh hepls with planning, Len says " yes, whatever you think" sometimes I like it,sometimes I wish he would make a decision.
