Well, we are off in the morning to Walt Disney World! Our daughter starts her professional internship with the Mouse next week. We're sad she's leaving us, and excited for her all at the same time! We don't usually visit the World at this hot, crowded time of year, but it should be fun nonetheless!
She's going to work as an Education Coordinator for the College Program. But she's an Economics major and would love to get into market analysis or something analytical. Best of luck to them both!

Have a wonderful time at WDW .... and all the very best to your DD for her Disney internship. What a magical place to work I'm sure. My DD is planning on applying for the college program for next year.
Yes , its supposed to be on every 1000th post ...so next one will be at 2000 and then one after that would be at 3000.... then of course a new thread will start and we start all over ...lol ......but the rule is you cannot make a post with no content just to boost it closer

Leaving for Disneyland in about 6 hours! Can't wait!!! I'm going to see the new World of Color (via the dining package) and Fantasmic (via dessert package). I'm sure there will be about 100 pages when I return home. I hope everyone has a good weekend!!!!![]()

Since it's now the 12th, it's officially my dance recital day! This is my 27th year dancing at the same studio. I do a duo with my twin sister...this year we're doing a Broadway jazz routine to "Don't Rain On My Parade" as performed on "Glee" (Shocking, I know, me selecting something from Glee!). I used to REALLY be into dancing when I was younger - well, three ACL reconstructions ago!
I do miss the old days when I didn't have to wear two bulky knee braces, but if it's the only way I can dance, that's what I'll do. We had dress rehersal tonight. Last year we couldn't perform in the recital because I had just had my ACL done in January (it's a 9 month recovery period) so it was WONDERFUL to be back on that stage tonight. When I'm dancing, I forget about the pain of the knee surgeries and I just enjoy being up there and performing.

Hope your recital goes well and that you don't suffer too much with your knees
