Hello all Disney Cruisers, I am finally signing on. WE are down to the TWO digits and can start getting my mind ready.. DH has been pushing me to get ready but sometimes I am slow. DH and I are renewing our vows while out to see and DSIS has all the details aligned. YES for those of you who do not know she is the family organizer. My DD and her DH are comming as well. This is her graduation present from the family. Cannot wait to go and have the countdown in my head and heart. Hope to sign on a few times a week and get to know some of you for myself, DSis keeps me posted and updated.

Well it is still cool here - make that cold actually!I really don't know what has happened to the British summer these days. Ah well roll on September. We went off to Florida in early February for 6 weeks to get a little warm weather but it didn't materialise there either, so I feel a little starved right now.
If anyone out there is sweltering in excessive heat, please share with us frozen Brits.

headache: ) right now between the garage and a small study at the back. The study was/is very small. Also a door is going in from there to the garage, so an easier way to get there than going outside. Should take 4 days they say, but giving them the week or so after last year's history of delays!!!
Then, the room could be an extra bedroom if anyone wanted. At the moment it has office stuff in there, the tumble dryer and all the various recycle boxes and bags.
The recycle things can go in the garage afterwards.
We have the builders in again. Not too big a job though. Knocking a wall down

Just got back from a couple of nights on the boat, it was a bit chilly in the wind, but beautiful in the sun. We had a few friends come out and have a drink and a fish, the kids caught more fish on their pink Barbie rods than anyone else!
I too would like to know what are some traditional or special purchases in each port, Things like jewels, traditional handicrafts, foods, ect.....
Does anybody know? Oh, and share the 'bobble' shop, please!
We haven't added our name as we have 34 hours of travel with 2 children to get to Barcelona, so we're not sure whether we will make it, But we would love to try. I'm not sure whether you are giving HRC numbers or not? Can we add ourselves, but apologise in advance if we don't make it?

The only other time we have travelled so far was Paris last year and we travelled business class with no kids, this trip it is cattle (economy) class with the kids, the flight including stops will be over 34 hours!!!
My DH is 6 foot and about 100kgs / 220 pounds. Just wanted to know if the 1st class sleeper will make it a little more bearable for him?

Maz, good luck with the construction! Glenn and I finished out our basement (just need baseboards and window casings now...) and recently flipped a condo and I am so sick of the construction clutter...We have the builders in again. Not too big a job though. Knocking a wall down

I so understand about the construction clutter!!! Geezers in Training(GIT's) are slightly younger and we oldies give them some hints and tips to help them on their way!!! )Happy Monday, everyone. It's been a long time since I've posted here. I've just had all kinds of problems w/logging on and being able to access threads (I'm talking hundreds of error messages after clicking on threads). Could be my computer, but I can't tell you how frustrated I've been! As a result, I haven't even been able to keep up w/the threads (#6!) 'cause I couldn't access them, but we are paid up and we are going on this cruise
We're still listed as GTY; no cabin # yet. I wonder when Disney will let us know where we'll be.
I see so many of you are arriving early and staying in Barcelona. That is so great. We can't take the time, unfortunately. Is anyone else flying in with Disney? I just don't know what to expect. I'm guessing we'll be going out of Dulles or Reagan International. Yikes, I'm starting to get nervous now.
Well, Marilyn, if we could even out your cold temps w/our hot (90s+) ones, we'd probably have lovely weather, and I'd LOVE to share it w/you. Oh, and what does it take to qualify for geezer status?
