Thanks for all the well wishes and I come with good news. I got the MRI results today and the muscle is not ruptured. It show that is sprain muscle that look like it is heeling and I have swelling in the wrist. There going to try and restrengthen the muscles in my arm with physical therapy and hope that is it. They also think there still could be a pinched nerve causing all the pain. I keep you updated. At least no surgery for now.

My wife and I are traveling to Europe in August for two weeks in Italy and Greece before heading to Barcelona for the Magic cruise back to the US. we will arrive in Barlona on the 14th.

We have not checked out this board before though I listen to the podcast regularly and have been to some DIS events in Orlando the past three Decembers and have done some writing for Passporter.

Is it too late to order t shirts?

It let me get on and get the spa day i wanted.....but then I started trying to do our excursions and by 12:04am the dolphin swim in Tortola was already gone and you can't book it anymore....so I moved on to our next excursion...got it...and then tried to get on to do the others and now it's telling me there is an "error" and that it either can't retrieve my ressie or someone else from my traveling party is booking things-----except there is nobody else linked to us (yet)!

....sorry for ranting about my booking woes it's 1am and I'm cranky and I let myself vent too freely here I don't think you can delete posts or I'd go back and delete some of my tantrums

So I think we're all set....we did get most the excursions we wanted, although as I said in my last post we didn't get the times we wanted....and although we can't swim with the dolphins, which is big disappointment, we decided the "Discover SCUBA" excursion where you actually learn to scuba dive and do a 20 minute dive at 30 feet could be fun and certainly not anything we'd ever get to do living here in frozen Rochester, NY.....so my lovely hubby Jason has convinced me that the world is not over becasue we can't swim with dolphins

I got everything I wanted but my massage. They told me the only times available were 8:00 AM (which I don't do that early) or 8:00 at night, but I don't want to miss the shows. I am thinking that I will wait and get it on board. Everything else was a thumbs up! GOOD NIGHT! Hope everyone else was just as lucky!

BTW, Not sure whether you are going to spend any time in FL at the end of the cruise. But we are doing the dolphin swim at Discovery Cove, it may be an option for you? Although the scuba thing sounds very cool.

Hi all! Just found you guys and had to catch up reading. Wow! What missing one day will do to you. Can't imagine what's going to happen when we leave for our trip. We fly out this weekend for a 3 week trip. One week in Chicago visiting family, one week in Indiana visiting family and then one week in Phoenix. So, you guys might be on another thread by the time we get back. Well, we can't book things till the 20th. I hope I remember to do it since we'll be gone. Off to bed, since dh has a triathalon in the morning. Hoping the kids wake up early so we can cheer him on at the finish line and then wish him happy birthday!

Yes we've logged off and back on multiple times. I restarted my computer. I closed my browser. And I even had Jason try to log on under HIS DCL login name and it won't let either of us access our reservation. We keep getting a stupid message saying to try again in 20 minutes or more or to call our Travel Agent or to call DCL during business hours.

It's really aggravating.....if everyone was having trouble I could chalk it up to just the site being overloaded or something.....but it's clear we're the only people having problems because everyone else has already gotten all their reservations and we're still sitting here staring at a screen that is blocking us out.

I absolutely HAAAATE this stupid system for booking.....i'm so infuriated right now I can't even stand it I'm about to throw my laptop out the freakin window!

You would have loved our reservation night for the '08 WBPC!!! I got up to be ready for 5am(what a silly time), and it took 5 1/2 hours to get one reservation!!! Some US folk just gave up, angry and frustrated. Now that ws all to do with all the linked reservations and everyone trying to book at once. The system melted. Once all the US folk had gone to bed I was then able to book our other Palo reservations, but some never managed. However, everyone who was on the wait list for Palo got their slot at some point onboard.

So don't despair those who want a tea booking. Go and try and book when you first get onboard, and if you can't then get waitlisted.

Diving up here is actually not bad. Dive instruction is a side business we have.

Well, a friend who was booked on our cruise called me today to let me know that she and her family had to cancel. Good explanation--she'd been trying to get DH to tell her exactly when he could leave work to fly over and while she was waiting the prices increased $800 per person! Then he decided that was just too much and they needed to back out. Oh well.

I've almost lost my EBTA weight. Been working out every day. Now understand, we are not talking miracles here--I'm still fat, just a little less fat. It's way too hot these days to do yard work; that's my other effort.

This gang is SO organized. I'll be more into it when I have DD settled in her new college (or at least thru registration!)

I dont know how I will cope for 14 nights!!should get big clothes for last wk.

Got Palo and excursions booked and everything we wanted at the times we wanted. I hope everyone had the same luck and everyone reserving ay 90 and 75 days get what they want. After 7 cruises this is the first time I was able to pick a time for Palo. We actually had to discuss that one for a minute or two.

As for the DH's, your my kind of gal! My husband gets the run down of what we're doing when we get on the plane. I put all our flight details on his iPhone so he know what dates we'll be gone. And that's all the info he gets, or wants, he's happy for me to do it so he doesn't have to think about it.

So, I went and saw Sex and The City with all my girlfriends last night (no boys allowed). We hired out the entire Gold Cinema and some had Cosmo's, I had Caramel Slice, lol! I love SATC, but I'm not a die hard fan, I could have waited for the DVD release. But........I'm so glad I went, It was sooo funny, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! A word of warning if our knickers and bra talk last week made you blush, be prepared to turn fire engine red!

I will wait for dvd, thanks for the report, and yes, brown fat is def better for me anyway.

....the stupid site still won't let me get on....it still says someone linked to my reservation is making cruise plans when there is NOBODY linked to my reservation....so it's basically just blocking me from making ressies for no good reason and I know I've already been shut out of at least one of the excursions we wanted to do. If it's not fixed in the next 5 minutes or so we're just going to go to bed and give up and forget it and I guess we'll just get stuck with whatever leftovers are there when we can actually get online

I did consider the metabolic measurement thing at the Spa, but I thought that would probably be fairly easy to book once on board.

Actually we're spending 4 days in Orlando BEFORE our trip (labor day weekend). We're staying at Beach Club on points, but we're doing all NON-Disney Parks. We bought the 4 day Orlando Pass that gets you into a bunch of the other parks (which we haven't been to in years) so we decided to rent a car and we're gonna do a day at Universal, a day at Islands of Adventure, a day at Sea World and a day at Sea World's new(er) water park Aquaventure. All that before we fly to Barcelona for our REAL vacation.

Diving up here is actually not bad. Dive instruction is a side business we have.

We did get brunch, tea, and dinner at Palo, and the Virgin Islands Sail, Snorkel, and Beach excursion in Tortola.

The rest of the ports I think we'll do independently.
