Did everybody have fun booking their excursions that could book today? I was thinking about all the fun you must be having and cannot wait till June 5th!

How exciting for everyone who can book, Unfortunately we are first time cruisers so we get the scraps, LOL!

I have still not paid for the cruise, and my deadline is tomorrow. We have not sat down and gone over shore excursions either. I am normally over planning and this time I am not. I need some pixie dust to get my act together because my sister and DBIL are doing their vow renewal on the cruise and my birthday is while we are on the cruise. Maybe tonight I will bite the bullet and just pay it off and then get the shore excursions done.

I didn't even look into pounds. I was so excited about this exchange rate! I was just thinking to go for something everybody can take. If I happen to see olives in the Barcelona airport, I am all over that. I can go on and on about the olives because I have never tasted olives like the ones in Spain. Okay, I am done the olive rant!

I can't wait to get some yummy olives!

Todd or Krisann - my DH has one question about the luggage. Do they fold up to put under the bed on the cruise?

The olives sound delicious - I don't like anchovies, but would be willing to try.

Well, we finally hit the PIF status. Now it's on to packing up the house, dogs, puppies and other sundry things so we can move to the new digs. We won't be out of here until late June but there's so much to do!

Well, I guess Marc thought there wasn't enough to do as he booked a RCCl cruise out of LA down the MX Riviera in December. We're gonna hit the Mariner of the Seas and find out what RCCL is all about. It's been a few years since we've done another cruise line other than Disney, but, having worked for one of the "other lines" in the past, I'm intrigued to see what's gonna happen.

To those making their bookings tonight, take deep breaths and enjoy!

Wow...I can't believe in 17 weeks from right now, we'll be flying over the Atlantic to Spain to bring the Magic home! How exciting! I'll be really excited when we get off the plane! LOL!!!

Has anybody ever heard of the musical 'Titanic'? Yes, I know it's funny and strange to talk about a doomed ship that sank in the middle of the ocean and even funnier to think there is a musical about the ordeal. However, it is a great musical! There is a line in the opening song that I'm telling my sister I'm going to sing when we get to the Magic -

"Get me aboard, call out my name, it's to America we aim!" LOL!!!!

We (Dennis, PJ and myself) are booked for tea on the 23rd, Palo dinner at 6pm on the 29th. Dennis and I are also booked for View and Parks at Maderia - 9 am. We will do an island tour on Tortolla also, but not booked because we have not decided yet. The other ports will be on our own. I'm happy.

I booked Unforgettable West Madeira and Alone Time in a Spa Villa on the 24th (4:30 pm) so i will be missing dinner that night or eating up at Topsider which would be interesting. For all days the mid day slots were gone, I wonder if those are held back for either other booking windows or for the Concierge phone call/onboard booking. I will check back later in the week to see if any of those mid day slots open.

Ok, Question group...what quarter is our cruise considered?

Third quarter 2010? If yes the date for the Fuel Surcharge to OBC conversion would be June 17th. And we have to be under $70 a barrel of Light Sweet Crude ( or WTI) on that date at close of market.


If we are 4th quarter the date would be September 17th, which doesn't make sense for a September 18th cruise, right?

Right now it is flirting with $70 a barrel, fingers crossed that it sits steady and even wants to drop a little more.

I hate olives, Its so silly cause I love nearly everything as long as its vegi I will eat it, it was so long that I had been saying I didnt like olives, I thought I would try them again as all my family love them, well, I tried them last year, and NO, they are still horrible. I love oil though, esp I love fried eggs in olive oil.

Last day of three 12 hour shifts today and I am shattered .... looking forward to a weekend off, and thinking about the fact that in 17 weeks we will be waking up in Barcelona
