Steph - on the last WBTA I travelled with my sister. I emailed DCL about a month out and said "look we're travelling together but live seperately (had our addresses down as seperate on reservation too) so could we possibly get 2 of everything" and they said "we can't guarentee" but when we got onboard they did give us two of everything! Honestly contact them! Its worth a shot as they only chuck them at the end of the cruise because they are dated! Also when onboard check with your room steward as he might be able to find extra too!
We can only hope! Thanks!:goodvibes

OMG.... I just got back from the East Bound Trans and it was awesome... I went with my two friends who had never cruised before and they had a blast.... well to make a long story short, guilt set in that my dh and by 2 dd's didn't get to go, so now we have re-booked for the September return...

I am very EXCITED... I also have almost all of the navigators from that cruise so if anyone wants any information,,, I'll be glad to share.

My crew: DH - Peter, me - Denise, dd- Jessica 12, dd- Kimberly 8

This will be my 10th cruise
My DH's 9th cruise
and my dd's 8th cruise.

We also did the Trans in 2007 (the return) and so everyone is so looking forward to this trip.

Hope to see you all there.

Denise
:welcome: You have a ton of experience to share. Woo Hoo!

So glad to have you with us. :woohoo:

Marks & Spencer. One of our best stores with branches in just about every big town.

Fantastic food shop, and I buy most of my clothes there. Famous for supplying most of the Country's undies!!!!:lmao:

I am super excited! I love Marks and Spencers chips (crisps). They have flavours we don't get in Canada. I also love their Extra Strong tea. Love it. Must get some. If anyone wanted to be my best friend on this cruise they would let me reimburse them for a few boxes of the tea from the UK. :rotfl:

pj, we are pif!!!!

:thumbsup2

I am like this! Last September I mentioned to Maricar that I loved the shampoo and she hooked me up with a 2nd Castaway Club tote bag FULL of shampoo, conditioner, body butter and sun burn stuff!

I love the sun burn stuff, will have to make an inquiry with our stateroom host.

and there is an M & S in Gib, don't know if it has a food hall though. I thought I might pick a few bits if it does.

We lost our last Marks and Sparks when I was 9, would love to visit in Gib.

There isnt a smile with a sticky out tongue.:rolleyes1

DM and I used to stock up on the Twinlings Lady Grey Tea at the UK epcot pavilion, once we had a good stash Walmart brought it up to Canada, :upsidedow :headache:.

Just an hour ago, I booked Pop Century Resort for five nights after the cruise and got FREE DINING. Thank-you Disney Visa Card. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Free Dining through 10-02-2010, for Disney Visa Card Holders http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2401308&highlight=free+dining&page=57
Post #846

Should open up to none Disney Visa Card Holders soon.

Now we only have three minor segments of our Magical trip left: 1. Transfers from Barcelona Airport to hotel, 2. Rental car from Port Canaveral to Pop Century, and 3. Flight home Orlando to Portland, OR. :cool1:

We are getting very excited:rotfl:

SW, by linking our reservations we will be on the same dining rotation and be seated in the same area of the restaurant. A great way to get to know lots of DIS friends better. If you are early dining send an PM to me and I will add you to that group, if you are late dining then PM TotallyAngelic. :thumbsup2

One thing I was thinking in regards to the linked dining - That means we would all be on the same dining rotation, of course. So which rotation would it mean? I know they used to structure the rotation assignments where one was geared more toward families with small children (almost always starting in AP), one more toward adults, and one for adults or those with older children. I don't know if they still do that or not, but do we have any idea which rotation we'd be looking for?

I've usually tried to find the rotation that put me in Lumiere's on Formal night, and PC on pirate night, though the recent rotations have made that more difficult. I really don't want to be in PC on formal night, just because it always seems like a contradiction to be all dressed up in such a casual restaurant.

I know that last time we did a large group linked dinning, we also requested which restaurant we wanted to start in and it was granted.

The craziness on this cruise is that we really don't how the special nights are set up.

I love Marks & Spencer! I picked up a quick sandwich there when I was at Windsor. They also had some lovely cakes that I brought back to the room.

I hit every grocery store I found in London. We were there in November so there were lots of Christmas goodies in the stores.

I made it to a Waitrose and Tesco and another one that I can't remember, but we didn't see a Morrisons.

I was hoping that there would be a Fortum & Masons in Gibraltar. I had so much fun there!

I still have plenty of tea! I bought so much, it was so inexpensive.:lovestruc

I stopped this morning to get my passport photo taken at AAA. I was in and out in five minutes which was wonderful! The bad part about it is that you can't show teeth if you smile. Now, when I smile, I always show my teeth. So I smiled, but the picture looks like I have a bird in my mouth! All that is missing is the feather! Only me... she asked if I wanted it retaken, but I knew it wasn't going to get any better unless I could smile with my teeth showing so I just took that one.

I went in the afternoon to get my passport and I took with me what I thought I needed...I was wrong. I didn't need my new social security card, I need my new driver's license (which I don't have yet) and the official marriage license! Grrrr! Worst part of all is the fee is going up on Saturday and I was trying to get it today to beat the increase. Oh well...

Hope everyone is doing well! :)

Got the call from DU today (well, email...) that we could uprgade to a cat 3 for $2900. We are in a cat 4 now. I can't find a good list of the perks, other than room size, booking earlier and goodies being delivered daily.

Is that worth it? :confused3 Anyone? What other perks are there? Would they cater to DD who os VERY shy? Would they be able to get DH a bridge tour? I have poured through the posts out there, and there are so many conflicting notes, that I am now totally confused.

HELP!!! We have until noon EST, so any insight would be appreciated.

(good grief - if we take this I fall out of the PIF club...:sad2:)

Su I wish I could help!

We booked late and tried for a Cat 3 but there was no availability.

Our only other Disney cruise was a 4 night Cat 3 and we had a fab time. It was great having the extra space in the suite even though there was only 2 of us. We enjoyed the welcome get together and drinks :rotfl: and the little gifts left each day in our room. It was a bonus being amongst the first to board and having our excursions etc taken care of.

We were certainly very well cared for and even had our request for a table for 2 at mealtimes met.

Having said all of that, If I were to get that phone call I wouldn't know what to do either

So I'm sorry I'm no help. Would I want it? Yes Value for money? Probably not.

See you soon,

Dawn :)
