Thanks!:goodvibes

YIPPIE SKIPPIE!!!!!!!
Woo Hoo!:woohoo:

Congrats. We are PIF for our 10-night Med & Adventurs by Disney now...and we make our final payment for the TransAtlantic this coming Monday. (We've been paying it off in installments so that we could charge the whole thing on our Disney Visa card to get the Disney Dollars back----boy are we racking up the DisneyBucks!!! :lmao:)
Thanks Erik!:goodvibes

Congrats, we are getting closer to being PIF but holding on to our pennies until the last possible second since we are paying cash.

Thanks!:goodvibes I paid cash too but just wanted to get it over with. Now my airfare is paid, insurance is paid, cruise is paid, used DVC for my villa on Saturday, so the only thing left is airfare home from Florida. :cool1::cool1:

Congratulations. Welcome to the PIF club.:rotfl:
Thanks. It's a very good feeling club....:goodvibes

I'm still here. Just checking in. :thumbsup2
:welcome: back

Not yet, I will take it out on our boat this weekend and we'll get into practise!:thumbsup2

:cool1::cool1:

Ooh, Lucky you, I would have loved an afternoon in Disneyland, but the 13 hour flight from Australia is kind of annoying! :rotfl:
I wanna come!!!

Yay for you!! :dance3:
Thanks! :goodvibes

Show off!:lmao: Congrats!

Pj
You are so funny. Thanks. :lmao::lmao:

does that mean you are running your own transfers would definately be interested for sense of ease

We have floated the idea of booking a couple of buses/coaches that will pickup at the various hotels.

New to the board, can someone help me out? I'll be on this cruise.

I think you asked about the candy swap. I'm arranging and putting people into groups of 10-12 - the idea is that you bring a mini/snack size candy bar for each of the other participants in your group and drop them into their Fish Extenders. If you'd like to join (and anyone else for that matter) please PM me.

Probably the best idea from the EBTA was our "book exchange." Anyone who was interested brought some reading material. On scheduled days we'd meet in the Promenade Lounge and drop any books we'd finished onto a table and help ourselves to anything we wanted to read. At the end of the cruise we donated the books to the crew library (and were able to personally hand them to a crew person so we knew they'd make it there). The best story--one server asked about our DIS name tags. We (and another server) basically explained what it was and that we'd arranged several group activities for the long cruise. I mentioned our plans to donate the books to the crew and she literally burst into tears! She couldn't believe that we'd think of them. We did admit that we didn't want the weight in our luggage.

I've already volunteered our cabin as a book exchange location - I will have a bag or similar for people to rummage through and drop their books off at - that will be on our FE (or in a pile on the floor). I will leave anything left over at the end of the cruise to the crew. :)

Well i had fun at work today. Enter a building and walking into an elevator the door close on me. I had pain in my arm and hand so they sent ER. After 8 x ray and 2 hours they determined that nothing was broke. But I have a bad sprained wrist, a contusions on my hand and wrist and major swelling. They doctor sent we home from work and i have to keep me hand in a splint for a minimum of 5 day. What i way to start my weekend.

Well I was at the doctor today and they think now it is worse that they original thought. last night the pain came fast and strong. They know gave me strong pain killers, not use of my left hand and also a 15 pound weight limit. I'm still in pain. Hopfuly they kick in soon. I have another appointment on Thursday to see how it is healing and they they will determine if a need physical therapy.

But a great end to a long flight:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

So True, We came to LA for 4 days in February, and the closest I got was DD for dinner. Not enough time! :headache:

OK, now that I'm back from the EBTA, I'm ready to read this thread. It's like I can't get into the next cruise till I've sailed the previous one.

Lucky you, 2 x transatlantic cruises in 1 year! OK, fill us in, all the details, the good, the bad and the ugly!!! What are we in for? :woohoo:

Greetings everyone! I had originally hoped we'd be able to get the lanyard spreadsheet up on the website (and we will eventually, don't worry), but our webmasters are very busy, I think (imagine that---having full time jobs and real lives and all! :lmao:). Anyhow, I have found a way to link to the lanyards spreadsheet here in a post. So I am going to post a link to the lanyard list at the END of this post---this will be a detailed message/post so please read the whole thing!!:thumbsup2

Please open the link at the end and take a look at the list to help me check for accuracy. Please send me a PM on here with any changes or corrections you need. So as you are looking over the list, keep the following things in mind:

1.) The list is in alphabetical order by DIS Screenname. If there are multiple people in your traveling party with different DIS names, they are listed alphabetically under their OWN DIS name (not yours) so look at the list thoroughly. If there is only one DIS name for a group, then all names are listed sequentially with that one DIS name.

2.) Please make sure you are ON the list in the first place. If you feel like you ordered lanyards but you don't see yourself listed, let me know and I'll make sure you get added.

3.) Please check for the accuracy of your DIS name: make sure it is spelled right and that the caps and punctuation are the way you want it to appear on your name badges.

4.) Please make sure that the person who actually USES the DIS name is listed first in your party. The reason for this is that on the name badges, the primary user of the DIS name will have their DIS name printed beneath their name. All other people in your party will have that DIS name printed beneath their name but in parentheses and a different color. (Note: This will help so when people see me and my name is ERIK with the DIS name tig82174 under it...they'll know me. When they see Jason, my DP, they'll see his name JASON with MY screenname under in parentheses (tig82174). People will be able to see his nametag and say, "OH, you're traveling with tig82174...yadda yadda..." :thumbsup2)

5.) Please make sure that the first names of everyone in your party are spelled correctly the way you want them to appear.

6.) Please make sure that the stateroom is correct. If your party is staying in multiple staterooms, I ONLY WANT ONE STATEROOM FOR YOUR WHOLE GROUP. (If I bring all 10 of your lanyards to that one room I will assume that whoever is in that room can distribute the lanyards to all 10 people in their party in whatever rooms they're in).

7.) If no stateroom is listed and you have a room # now, please send it to me. If you are still GTY, please send me your room # as soon as you have it.

8.) Check to make sure your B2B status is correct. If you are doing the B2B with the last Med cruise, there should be a "yes" in that column. If you are ONLY on the WBTA then that column should be left blank/empty.

(FINAL NOTE: If you see someone on the list who you KNOW FOR SURE has dropped off the cruise, please PM me and let me know. We don't want to waste time and money ordering lanyards for folks who won't be on the trip with us! ;))

OK, so now that you understand what I need from you, to visit the spreadsheet in its most current format, click HERE.
look great,THANK YUOU

Welcome back ...... can't wait to hear all about your EBTA cruise .... we need DETAILS !!!!!!

We found some mice in one of our storerooms by the pool so we had a lot of cleaning to do this weekend. The only part that was fortuitous was also a local cleanup weekend so we could get rid of all the mess for free. However, we did have to load and haul it to the local site which was not fun.

To continue the saga, when we went to clean up, three of our bathrooms had shower heads malfunction. We managed to get cleaned up so not to make too much of an aphorism, when it rains, it pours. Our handyman Jeff came to the rescue and got all three repaired by Sunday afternoon.

However the great find was the two carry one suitcases we found which meet the Air Berlin spec 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm. which equals 21.7 x 15.7 x 7.9 and weight can be no more than 8 kg includes computer is which is 17.6 pounds. Cost with tax was $87.39 each.

DH John and I need these bags for carrying our computers, camera and lenses. Air Berlin will count a purse as a carry on so I will have to put that in carry on luggage.

From Mrs Gumdrop on the April 10 2010 Disney Magic EBTA "Bound for Barcelona" thread:

To all our beloved WB lurkers....

Here is the general schedule we were given at the begining of the cruise. Some of the attire requirements and times shifted a bit, but I hope this is helpful.

See the link here https://doc-0g-9s-docs.googleuserco...QtMWM2Zi00NTNjLTk1ZDEtZTJjODFjMWE2N2M4?e=open

I will do a more general post on the main thread when we gather some more media from this trip.
