Well clearly the gap will be filled by Celine Dion, supported by Elton John and Maddona, after they get off performing on our WBTA

I did think about that, but wev been to dublin and I suspect we will be just desperate to get home by this time.

result, after nearly 2hrs and 20 quid on hold to lingus.
we are flying back to edinburgh(5 hours wait at dublin)
kiss our 100 quid car parking goodbye and pay to get the train to manchester, at least were on 30mins away from edinburgh, but still, its not fair, they just do whatever they want, someone else from this cruise was on the same flight, cant mind who now, Ive a terrible memory.

The real annoying this is we could have had better flights to barcelon from edinburgh but need to go back to manchester, Ive had it with all this nonsense, I mean how many times do I have to sort it???
It better be worth it!!!!!!!!!

Well i'm flying home with Via the Volcano! (Air Iceland) via Rejyavik. i only hope i don't get stranded!!! i'm happy to get stuck in WDW, just not Iceland.

If I had the extra money to travel to NZ, I would so go with you to see Mary Poppins! Sadly, there isn't any money right now...no full time job, no extra money.

On an a more exciting note, my sister bought us tickets to go see Glee in concert in NYC next month!!!! It's at Radio City Music Hall which is exciting because I've never been to a concert there before. I haven't been to NYC (we live about 2 hours away) for a year and a half, so I'm looking forward to it.

No Fair!!!! I'd love that.

But i live 30 minutes away from the best theatre district in the world so i shouldn't complain too loudly i guess.

Haven't had much time to join in since we got back from a trip to Malaysia.

Chatty lot! Its take me ages to catch up..grerat stuff!

Re A. Lingus...oops sigh....that someone else could be us. Although I havent had any emails or anything?? Will check later on. We have already had our UK to Barcelona flights cancelled and had to rebook! What next!

Have been booking WDW dining ressies for the week after the cruise, not sure I am too happy with the way things work these days. Virtually every character meal and every signature restaurant now has NO availability for that week. I am not really the sort of person who likes to plan everytthing down to the last detail re food, so I find this hard to work with.

Starting to look at Ports. Some great info on here. Thanks guys!
The hop on hop off bus is our preference for Barcelona, ensuring we end in right place and time to see the Musical fountains at dark.

For Funchal..it seems like the Cable car up to Monte is easy to get to in the old part of the town..

Lyn, the hassle weve had with flights, honest, dont get me started, maybe they overbooked a flight and your still on it, nothing would surprise me, but just dont tell me if theve left your flight at the same time

Lyn, the hassle weve had with flights, honest, dont get me started, maybe they overbooked a flight and your still on it, nothing would surprise me, but just dont tell me if theve left your flight at the same time

Seems the problem is the onward from Dublin portion. The MCO to Dublin is unchanged. We are moving on to Birmingham, not Scotland. Maybe our turn next, but ok at moment ..Feel your pain tho...........once something goes wrong, like we experienced with our flights to Barcelona, its hard to lower the anxiety..
Must admit, all those months ago..when we rebooked on board....thinking oh yes..great idea and great price..Western TA.great idea.......We didnt quite consider the planning required and the margin for error if mistakes happen.
But hey. We are all great Disers here. We will do this. TA flights and all

Oh the lithographs appear to be similar to the 2007 design - with a porthole and characters around it

Also the mixology class seem to be better. 10 people per class and you get your own glasses etc to do the mixing. The one I did on the 11 night SC cruise was just they asked for 1 person to pop up and help for each cocktail. No fun at all

Looks like villians in the Litho. I thought the Mixology class looked interesting.

If I downloaded a book I wanted to read, it would be read.:

I am going to have to load them right before I go. I put on several of the classics that I have already read, so those are safe.

I know! It's really really hard... I have months to go though.... so you know, I might not be able to make it that long! LOL

I have one of the original iphones. Only 8gb. Super tiny. I didn't upgrade to the 3gs last year because I knew they were going to release a newer one before my trip. I can't wait!!!! I want 64g!

Well I just got mine recently... but only because I know Ruby wants one. And now with her new job (she just worked her first day today!!!!!!) -she should be able to afford one by this summer. She wanted to get the 3G 8gb refurbished for $50. I told her hold up... wait a bit. If when they come out with the newer one this summer- it's one I want (haha who am I kidding.....) then I'll get the new one and she can have the 3Gs (mine now).... and she can pay the difference in the monthly pkg I'd need to pay having 2 phones on there instead of 1. Yanno?
so I have my ducks lined up in a row to get the new one when it comes out... in other words. LOL

I am currently having a melt down re flights, Air Lingus they have changed the flights and now we are sitting in dublin airport for 10 hours!

I just noticed the other day that our flight was changed to an hour earlier (going there) and I was like ugh... I hope they don't keep changing the time even earlier and earlier. But gosh, this is way worse...... I'd be mad too if I were you! Who wants to sit at an airport for 10hrs. ugh

When Deb organised our first Champagne Girls Champagne tasting(obviously), she organised our own Champagne and a friend who had a wine shop(who supplied the Champagne) made a video of tasting them. It worked very well. We held it in Diversions and DCL provided glasses etc and a video player.
The second time she did it through DCL who provided Champagne, notes, glasses and some chocolate, and someone(Sommelier??) who led us through the tastings etc. It was held in Sessions and was excellent and a lot of fun. I believe our organiser chose the Champagnes. Someone also took a bottle of Rosa Regale onboard for the session too.
We paid $10 for drinkers, $5 for tasters and nothing for folk who didn't want any but wanted to be there.

Ours is the correct room now........ on only me. It still has an incorrect room (that none of us will be in...) for the other 4 in my family.
