Thank Angie for checking, form your information it looks like they have the solos open in the morning and late afternoon, and the couples open mid-day, perhaps as more people book they will open slots for either option. I would have thought that a sunset treatment would have been more romantic for couples

With the Chrome bowser, when I get the so called DIS screen of death, I can close the browser then come back, click on the bottom list to go to the last Disboard post and get what I was posting without loosing any of my ramblings. Were you not able to do that???

The excursion booking - can I get on at midnight or do I have to wait till 8 AM? I thought it was midnight.

I think they still do this, but certain spa treatments are discounted if you go the day it is in port. I plan on doing mine in Gibralter. Every little bit helps!

Took me forever to get caught up today!! We can't book excursions until June 20 so will have to see what is left!!

I had a nice time visiting with family members but was unable to meet up with a former DIS member who had been on a previous cruise.

Weather was rainy on Tuesday and chilly on Wednesday. Oh well, still chilly here in SF Bay area which is strange for late May.

Just my thoughts....

Thanks, Mandy. I am somewhat worried that many of the shore excursions that we want may be gone by that time. I guess we will just have to wait and see what is available!!

Stephen is 13 and will do Ocean Quest - no registration. You will be able to register the girls, I am not sure there is a limit or not, but have never heard of anyone being turned away!!

We did Palo for dinner (8:30) on the 21st, brunch (10:30) on the 23rd and Tea on the 25th.

I booked a massage, but don't like the time (4:30) and will try and change that today with the Concierge team.

Is the 25th for tea ok with everyone? If so, I will try and get it for 12 of us.

Ok...just to clarify.....you mean that the spa villas are already all booked up for the days at sea?! Wow! Jason and I always do one of the couples villa on a Sea Day and we have NEVER had a problem getting a reservation in one!! We don't get to make ressies for this cruise until June 5th like many others....but if we go online that night to book and they're all taken I'm gonna be really disappointed. We were really planning on doing our spa day on THIS cruise, because with the Adventures by Disney package on our Med cruise we figured we'll have tons to do and so the TA cruise would be more relaxing-----but the Med Cruise is a lot less crowded apparently and so maybe we shoudl try to get our spa day for that trip instead (we can make that booking next week on the 26th).

Hmmmm......can anyone who is able to book online look and see if the are couples spa villas still available for the sea days?

about the spa - there was a new treatment (at least I had never seen it before) on the EBTA and it was a couple thing - it was learn to massage - one of you got to be the massager and the other one getting the massage - there is a trained person in there showing you how to do it. There are two sessions - one is back/legs - other is front/head/foot - arms were on one of those but don't remember which as we did both. The cool thing is that the cost is like $60 (or something around that) and it INCLUDES a bottle of Muscle Ease or another kind of oil used for the massage - and not a little sample bottle - a full size bottle! The bottle of stuff costs $61 itself! we love muscle ease and this is one of the best deals I have found on the cruise.

So if any couple is looking for something different this is a fun one to do - it was not on the pre-booking but could be booked on board and we had no trouble getting a time for it. They even offer it like at 9 pm at night - after dinner and show but before bed - would make for a romatic evening

The rasul is the bomb!! We have done many massages so this is of some interest to us also. I don't want to pay a fortune for a massage when I can do it at home for so much less.

This is a new menu item they are introducing. The offer is Memorial Day week.

re fuel supplemment, I mind when this all started, I called and asked them to take it of my reservation or cancel and rebook , they just took it off no probs at all I really couldnt believe the hassle some folk have ended up, I am so glad I didnt rely on them taking it off now or it would have bugged me.

Please can anyone tell me if I would have paid a fuel surcharge as we booked this in Oct 07 and I can't remember my Christmas cruise let alone that one. I also booked a cabin for my sister and partner as a present last May would this have a fuel charge.

On another matter we had one of those small amount $ cheques sent to us in the post from DCL, could we add that to the room as a dollar cheque is no use in the UK.

As for the rasul, it's as much fun as you want, wink wink!!! hell go for it you only live once.

If the ones we want are not available then I guess we will have to fall back to plan B which is to either book private excursions or risk seeing if they are available on the ship.

Assuming you mean October 2008 as I'm sure cruise didn't start being bookable til 08, I think you may have just missed out. Last Mays definately doesn't have it on! They cancelled it lat 2008 I believe.

I booked this cruise on 15th Oct 08, the day it went on sale, and YES i did pay the fuel
surcharge.
