Oh my God you are so Kind! Ill give you the money for it via paypal or something if that works? Is there anything you'd like from round here? Gladly find you something Welsh!

No! No money, just happy to spread the magic! ;)

Oh I forgot to say - got a very important looking large envelope via UPS - had to sign for it.
All of us were very excited and convinced we`d won BIG with Disney. Inside was a very small card with our DCL reservation number - oh the anticlimax!

It is so exciting getting anything from DCL! I hope one makes it down under!

We are late dining.

Gotta love the hrc:love: Anybody been to original in London?

Yes as stated it's super small, in fact the gift shop is across the street as there's no room for it in the restaurant. I awlays get a table upstairs last time i was there i went downstairs to use the toilet and the music was deafeningly loud. Gald i didn't have a table there i couldn'e have hear my dining companions talk!

Planning DVD

All UK people, I emailed DCL and asked for one and they did send it to me in the UK

O thats great i was under the impression that they couldn't send DVD's to the UK due to a law, something to do with soliciting holiday sales, i'm gonna drop them a mail now Thanks.

Hi Julie,

are you flying Easyjet from Newcastle?

I think we may well book the Airlingus flights home too :)

Dawn

Yes Easyjet - have booked the hold luggage and you can take alot of carry on luggage so we`ll try that.

Airlingus seems the cheapest unless Virgin reduces their price (considerably) - why are one way flights so expensive????

I was just about to book my ticket through airfare.com, but they wanted the 800# off the back of the credit card to process the charge, which seemed odd. I did a little digging and found a bunch of complaints about them online: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/travel/airfare_dot_com.html. I'm a bit concerned with the frequency people seem to be having trouble with them. Has anyone used them in the past, or is this everyone's first time?

Additional info - I did some more digging and found they have an F rating through the Better Business Bureau: http://www.dc.bbb.org/report.html?national=y&compid=20055. Personally I'd be too paranoid to book with them knowing that, so I'll be sucking it up and paying a higher price. I'm glad no one here has had problems, though, but I wanted to to share what I found.

As soon as I booked I called both Air France, who had record of my reservation but couldn't issue me a seat, and Delta who is the actual airline completing the flight, so I now have my Delta Reservation # and an assigned seat. I can also see my ticket on Delta's website, which makes me happier. I also chose to book over the phone and many of the questions on the website were not required over the phone. Fingers crossed.

We leave one week from today, returning in June.

I'm not sure if I'll have internet access, so I'll likely be away from the boards for awhile.

Woody
I think Mr and Mrs woody is doing the east bound trans, I can mind they were when I was going to do that way but instead i swapped it to wb.
Yes! And if there is a cafe that is where we`ll go for lunch - esp. if Dsis is paying
:rotfl::rotfl:No way, I love it.

Is the upstairs like a balcony rather than proper upsatirs, Im sure we were in that one donkey years ago, but I cant mind it being that small, but then again, the one in Edinburgh is pretty small(although very cool) as well so maybe its small compared to a lot of others but maybe not some of the hrc Ive been in.
Changing subject, I :love: the HRH in orlando, happy days.

Hi All,

I am in the process of finding a hotel in Barcelona that will accommodate 4 in a room at a very reasonable rate and I am having a difficult time at it. The hotel that I was hoping to book can only accommodate us for one of the two nights that we have in Barcelona.

It doesn't have to be right, smack, bang in the middle of Barcelona, however, not too far out.

I would appreciate any help/advice/suggestions that anyone may have.

Ciao :)

Now I know why it's impossible to keep up with all that's going on when I only get to check in once a day or so!

I saw a post a few posts back about restaurants in Spain not opening until late, and that's what makes Tapas so popular. That reminded me of a story from our Honeymoon. Everyone had told us to order Tapas, but no one really explained *how* to order Tapas (and this was before the Internet so we couldn't google it to find out.) We learned that if you go into a bar and order a drink, they would bring you a sample of the "Tapas of the day". But they wouldn't offer us any more, or give us the chance to order any. So we would go from bar to bar, ordering a drink, getting one Tapas, and then move on to another bar to get another bite of food since it was late afternoon and we were hungry! Then we'd go pass out in our hotel room for an hour or two from all the alcohol and little food, and that would tide us over until the restaurants opened at 8. Finally on our last night in Spain we learned we could ask for a menu and order tapas off the menu!

I once took my team to Plaza Mayor in Madrid for cervezas and tapas. Using my mediocre Spanish linguistic capabilities, I ordered a cerveza and a plate of tapas for each person to share (or so I thought). What actually showed up, via SEVERAL waiters, was one of each type of tapas on the menu! :scared1: We never made it to dinner! :rolleyes1

EBTA, then Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, and London.

Woody

Sounds like a wonderful and exciting trip! I can't wait to hear all about it, especially the EBTA!

My question is to all farmville Disers. How are we going to cope without 2 weeks of farming.

I'm going to have my sister Farm for as well as tend to my Cafe! I'll return the favor this summer when she goes on her cruise! LOL!!!!

One of my pet mice isn't doing too well. Yesterday I noticed that she wasn't sleeping in the carriage (yes, the two mice actually have a Cinderella's Carriage that they sleep in) and she looked like her one side was all caved in. When my mom fed them last night Snoopy (the mouse who isn't doing well) ate just fine but isn't doing much else. Tonight she just looked terrible. My mom and my sister were in tears, I'm close to it.

I got her when I was working at the Science Center (the place I was laid off from) last April when she had a litter of babies. All of the babies except one were fed to the snake at the Center. I decided I was going to save the last baby who was a cute brown color. In order to take home baby (who was 6 days old), I had to take home mommy too (who is Snoopy) because baby (Remy) was still nursing. My parents, sister and my DH fell in love with these two mice. Snoopy and Remy sleep together every night and when my mom gives them their treats, there are many times that Snoopy will take hers over to Remy to make sure that she gets one.

I know they are only pets and only mice, but they are two mice who have stolen my heart and I will really miss Snoopy if something happens to her. :sad1:

It is your fur baby and that is all that matters.

My BFF sent me a card and I think it says it all

Once you've had a (dog, cat, gerbil, mouse, etc) affection, You'll always have a heart connection.

Greetings! Chris and Julie from Keswick here. Thought I would pop by and say hello.
Good to see the planning is going well for all.
So far our plans are minimal. Have booked -
Travelodge in Newcastle for the night before -
Flight from Newcastle to Barcelona
Booked hotel in Barcelona for three nights
Cruise ( paid for thankyou DVC!)
Need to book two nights in WDW for 2/3 Oct
4/5/6 Oct booked at AKL
Must book flights home - think we`ll go with AirLingus.

The cruise itself - no plans for excursions in ports.
Gibralter - I`ve a sister who lives in Marbella - she`s been on the Magic so they`ll come and meet us for the day and she can admire the ship. Will probably end up in Morrisons supermarket as all Brits living in Spain head there!
Madeira - will have a wander around Funchal.
St Maarten - we`ll head to the beach
Tortola - head to Cane Garden Bay - beautiful beach
CC - just relaxe.

There must be something I`ve forgotten :confused3
Anyways not long now.

Julie :goodvibes
