I have become bored of the farmville thing. So, I don't think it will be a problem for me. Candida on the other hand is going to have problems.

Gizmo re dollars, I need some but I am going to wait and see,even if it goes down It will be around the same by september, I have the rest of cruise on a pre paid dollar card, Apart form dissing,thats another obs of mine, exchage rates! I got my dollars when they were at 1.6
Although I also have 1000 cash I got a bonus after I came back in 08 and got dollars when it was at 1.9

Early dining.

I had to give up Farmville a little while ago. Got hooked on FarmTown and then Cafe World. Then everything took a back seat when I did Mafia Wars. I had friends who were going to defriend me as that creates so many posts. I had to pm them to tell them how to hide the Mafia Wars posts.

And then I took my grandson to Disney World, just him and me. And although I had my laptop with me, just didn't have time to go to war. When I got back I was so busy at work, getting ready for audits and board meetings and all that crap. Anyway, my Mafia War time has been minimial.

And I'm making time to have more dinners with friends. And more time to feed my shore excursions DisOrder.

Today I'm taking my grandson to a birthday party and then meeting Terry for lunch so we can plot and plan our shore excursions in person.

On a flight-related note, is anyone familiar with Jet Airways? They have a codeshare flight with Brussels Airlines out of JFK for $504 that I'm looking at. The layover is just under five hours, which is much nicer than the ten I'd get on Aer Lingus or Air Berlin.

What day are you flying out of JFK?

So question is for all the UK folks, are we waiting out until after the election to pay off the cruise or anyone going to do it earlier incase we get a hung parliment?

I don't know ..... will we get a worse exchange rate after the election or will that depend on the result like you say. I must start trying to keep an eye on it.

That means I only have 13 weeks to work

Good day all. Thought I would stop by and see what everyone is up to. Thanks for the suggestions about exchanging monies. I think I will start now and do a little at a time so as to average the rate.

As for spring ahead. Funny thing to remember we do not do it all at the same time. It has caused havic with my sleep, but it has been great to go for walks in the evening.

As I start to plan our shore excursions I wanted to see if there were any group excursions in the works?

I was just about to book my ticket through airfare.com, but they wanted the 800# off the back of the credit card to process the charge, which seemed odd. I did a little digging and found a bunch of complaints about them online: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/travel/airfare_dot_com.html. I'm a bit concerned with the frequency people seem to be having trouble with them. Has anyone used them in the past, or is this everyone's first time?

Additional info - I did some more digging and found they have an F rating through the Better Business Bureau: http://www.dc.bbb.org/report.html?national=y&compid=20055. Personally I'd be too paranoid to book with them knowing that, so I'll be sucking it up and paying a higher price. I'm glad no one here has had problems, though, but I wanted to to share what I found.

Sarah, I work a week then off a week, that said I work ALL weekend i live at work, then 8.30 I am away till the following monday at 6pm, thats how I fit in all the travelling!

So far our plans are minimal. Have booked -
Travelodge in Newcastle for the night before -
Flight from Newcastle to Barcelona
Booked hotel in Barcelona for three nights
Cruise ( paid for thankyou DVC!)
Need to book two nights in WDW for 2/3 Oct
4/5/6 Oct booked at AKL
Must book flights home - think we`ll go with AirLingus.

The cruise itself - no plans for excursions in ports.
Gibralter - I`ve a sister who lives in Marbella - she`s been on the Magic so they`ll come and meet us for the day and she can admire the ship. Will probably end up in Morrisons supermarket as all Brits living in Spain head there!
Madeira - will have a wander around Funchal.
St Maarten - we`ll head to the beach
Tortola - head to Cane Garden Bay - beautiful beach
CC - just relaxe.

There must be something I`ve forgotten
Anyways not long now.

All of us were very excited and convinced we`d won BIG with Disney. Inside was a very small card with our DCL reservation number - oh the anticlimax!
