renegade7- you can do it! It has been hard for me to lose weight but I decided to really focus on calories. I am not a stickler with counting them, but I do pay close attention to what I eat and eat a lot more fruit and vegetables. I also go over on the WISH board a lot! If you pay attention to what you eat and cut out fast food, it will really make a difference! Good luck!!!

Well, took both boys to the doctor yesterday. They both have strep throat. Liam also has a double ear infection and a sinus infection. Does not make for a happy 3yr old! And today, I decided to go to the doctor to find out what was up with me, thought it was just a cold...nope, I have bronchitis....ugh!!!! Well, we are all on antibiotics and it should be gone soon!

Oh sounds nasty corina! My sinuses have been playing me up all weekend. Even went to the emergancy doctor who told me it wasnt likely to be my sinuses as Ive never had problems before and he couldn't tell me why I was in so much pain I was screaming all night! Going to the dentist in about an hour to rule it out so the doctor might start taking me seriously.

I remember being told that DCL is the only cruise line that is able to do fireworks at sea. But, do they (can they) have fireworks on the TA cruise? I thought the fireworks were the same night as the Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party - I presume that will occur while we are well at sea on the TA cruise - so unless the fireworks are launched from the ship - how would they do that?

They did it on the last 2 TA's out the the middle of the Atlantic pretty much. The fireworks are sent from the top deck and I would assume like last time they would still do it.

We have just returned from seeing Alice in Wonderland in 3 D and it was amazing ..... absolutely fantastic! Visually stunning and the 3 D effects were incredible. The characters were all superb, and although there were a few dark moments it was all exactly how I would have imagined it. Tim Burton is a genius. We all loved it and can not recommend it enough! GO SEE IT !!!!

I didn't like the white queen mind. What were her hans all about?

Hi all! We are still booked on this trip and REALLY want to go, but our Fall plans are still so much up in the air. I'm applying to Nursing School. I won't know if I get in for Fall 2010 or Spring 2011 until mid to late May. If I haven't heard by final payment day we will have to cancel and then rebook later. Silly - since it will likely be a matter of just a few days mismatch, but oh well! I'm hanging on to my ressie as long as possible!

Anywho, that's why I haven't been very active recently - that, I'm taking 5 classes currently! I just took the final for one class though so I'm rewarding myself with a little DIS time.

Welcome!!! As most have said, check out post #1 for information. We hofave a separate website you can link to from post #1 but it's been having server trouble and our expert tech is working on moving it to a new server so I'm not sure it's back up and running as of yet. Once it's up you can add your name to the roll call and add your name if you want to particiapte in FE's, Secret Mickey and/or lanyards.

I remember someone posted a film of the welcome you received in Barcelona. It was fantastic on film and I can only imagine what it was like to actually be there!

It was amazing! I wish they had done something when we left Barcelona too as come back was a bit of a rubbish exit as it was raining and we had sail away in the lobby. There were only a few people there.

This was my week in Quebec. Ice diving and rappelling. The quarry is 128' deep with a submerged plane, "submarine", two cars, a boat and a couple other small items. In the summer they have a bungee jump area and a zip line across the quarry.

I've been just horrible about checking in on the DisBoards since the DVC Cruise. But I very much enjoyed meeting some of the DISers back in September and really want to get to know some of my cruisemates for this TA cruise.

We saw Alice in Wonderland today. It was amazing! I think I liked it better than Avatar. This is only the third Tim Burton film I've seen (Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands are the other two) so maybe I'll have to check out the rest....

Watch Sleepy Hollow! Its the best Tim Burton movie ever!

He has made so many amazing films ... my favourites are Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Sweeney Todd and Sleepy Hollow. But now my all time favourite is definitely Alice in Wonderland. Hopefully they will show it on the Disney Magic as I would love to see it again

Oh I forgot Nightmare and Chocolate also good movies! Still my fave is Sleepy Hollow followed by Sweeeny Todd

That would be awesome! We saw "Up" in 3D last time we were on the ship and it made the movie even better. I think they do a really great job with the 3D movies on the ship.

Thanks Sarah. Dentist has put me on antibiotics as she thinks its a sinus infection! There's only a small hole in my wisdom tooth, really too small to worry about and wouldn't be causing the pain. The doctor hadn't noticed (well actually hadn't even bothered looking) that my tonsils were swollen and that there was a small swelling in my cheek area. Hopefully now it will get better.

Im hoping for a 3D Toy Story marathon as missed 1 and 2 in 3D in the cinema as only on for 2 weeks over here! Definately seeing 3!!! Saw the advert on Friday and it looks fab!

I'm getting very excited about this cruise. Looking forward to meeting you all too.

We are in Orlando at the momemt - into our last 2,weeks of our almost 6 wek trip, and I don't want to go home. Coming for so long we find a cheaper place to stay for the last few weeks and kind of live here, rather than be tourists, if you understand what I mean. Lots of cheap meals at the villa and cheap eateries out. I could come for the winter actually, but that won't happen!!

Anyway, I heard last week that I have to have an MRI scan as a follow up to a second ultrasound I had just before we came away following the attack of Acute Pancreatitis I had last December. It is worrying me a little, and I hope all comes back clear and we can focus on this cruise. A little concerned about insurance for this cruise in case they won't cover me!!! The radiographer wondered if she had found some very small gallstones, or an area of wall thickening of the gallbladder, but it wasn't conclusive even after scanning for 30 minutes. She was going to show the consultant Radiologist and see if he would recommend a different scan. I didn't expect this at all though. I just thought they would whip the gallbladder out(small op these days) and be done, presuming that was the cause of the Acute Pancreatitis attack. Ah well, we will see eventually. Can't do anything from here, so have decided to relax and forget about it!!!

It's amazing how quickly the days and weeks are going! Before I know it, it will be time to leave for the cruise!

I officially went to the social security office today and changed my name to my married last name! So that is one thing down, about 10 more to go!

It's warming up in PA - the snow is almost completely melted. Kind of makes me sad since I love snow. It's supposed to be in the 50's all week so that is at least pleasant.

There is a lot of Disney movies coming out i want to so on the cruise. Alice, Prince of Persia, Toy Story 3, sorcerer's apprentice. Also I hope they do like they did on the PC cruise and brought other movie studios blockbusters and played them on the cruise Theaters. I think I will be in the movie theater a lot on the cruise.

We are seeing some small patches of green grass, BUT today I heard we may have snow again tomorrow and Wed.....it is still March and anything can happen! I have really, really enjoyed the last week though.
