Howdy all,

I'm pretty new to the disboards, lurked for a while before joining. My DW (su_kraft) has been around for a while, and got me interested. The WBTA will be our 3rd cruise, others being Eastern Caribbean-2005 and Western Caribbean-2009 on the Magic. In addition to DW, have DS12 and DD5.

We're currently living in Canton GA, suburb on NW side of Atlanta, but I'm a Buckeye at heart.

Well I only booked our British Airways one way flight from London Heathrow to Barcelona a few days ago and already the time has changed!!! Just 35 minutes later so no real problem. Longer to get down there from 'Up North'!!!

Well, thats the change over with! fingers crossed no more.

I just was playing on DCL and all staterooms cat 5 and down to 11 are not showing for even just two adults.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've already learned a great deal from the dis, and to meet people from our cruise before we set sail is awesome. On our last cruise, we had a table next to another couple with two kids; it was such a shame that we learned they lived 10 minutes from us on the next to last day.

Indeed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but my guess is that even if we had a bunch of guys join in that we'd still be woefully outnumbered

A Buckeye can be several things;
1) A type of tree that grows in the midwest; the nut that grows on the tree is said to look like the eye of a buck (deer), hence the name of the tree. The Buckeye tree is the state tree of Ohio
2) Ohioans are often referred to as Buckeyes
3) The sports teams of 'The Ohio State University', and their fans
4) A delicious candy made primarily from peanut butter and chocolate, that is rolled up to look like the nut.

In my case #2 and #3. My DW thinks I'm a nut, so #1 may apply as well

A drink is always a good answer, afterall, what hasn't been made into a drink these days? I have seen several 'Buckeye' drinks, none of which are made with the nut, as it is poisonous.

Anyone plannng to go to Mousemeets 2010 in Manchester? It's May 1st and 2nd in the Crowne Plaza . I am definitely going to go to this, and it would be great for a pre-cruise meet up if anyone is interesed.

I got an invite over on Facebook. Have tentitively said yes.

Mousemeets 2010 is coming and this time it's in the UK. Come and join us at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the centre of Manchester for the UK's first Disney fan covnetions. Meet Disney friends, join in with quizzes and even a pin trading event.

The even will run on the Saturday evening of the 1st with the Main event running on Sunday 2nd May. Tickets are priced at £9.75 and will be available soon

On all the lower cats being closed off, wonder if they aren't trying to move people around, and figure out what rooms really need to be put on sale, the EB had the cat 12s open last month and for great pricing.

Move people around....as in upgrades? Fingers crossed!!! We are GTY10 which I will be happy with for our first ever cruise as I don't have anything to compare to.......But an upgrade is always nice!
