Oooooooh you lucky thing - 15 days until the Magic - wish it was me!

It's all a bit stressful here at the moment as my DD Taryn is leaving for University on Sunday - we are running around like crazy trying to get everything she needs. It will be really strange without her during the week (she is coming home most weekends due to her dance commitments) and I feel really emotional about it - especially that moment on Sunday when we will have to leave her at the student village.

I hope the move goes ok,You know she will be fine though, dont you!

I am so so happy your beagle made it home? Seriously I got tears in my eyes when I read it. We have 3 fur babies and totally understand the stress and worry What wonderful news. I am sure she is sharing with he other fur baby sibblings the greatadventure

Ok update on my no handicapped room. Still no update. I struggle not wanting to call. I know Roy is working on finding if everyone has a handicapped room that needs one. So I do not want to be a pest. I guess I feel if I call too often then I will not get on the ship. Because it all comes down to what Roy can do. Though the last time I called was a week ago.

Now I am just getting discouraged. We did everything right. And Disney screwed it up. My hubby says we have no recourse. Because they will just say they did not give us a handicapped room.

But on the Answering machine message Roy acknowledged that he was sorry they were not able to hold my handicapped room. So to me that means we must have had one since you can not hold what you did not have

I believe Disney will stand by their customer service and honor what the rep told me. 100% we had a handicapped room. But as time goes on I am getting more discouraged every day.

With our dollar doing so well we really want to put half the price down. But Glenn says no because he just figures Disney will do nothing

I guess I feeling Like Mickey in Fantasmic fighting Maleficent in his dreams. So here is to hoping just like Mickey the good dreams come back

It is so naff, cant you just pay it anyway, if the dollar is good? It is not like tempting fate, it is positive thinking.



Orlando the beagle, never moved a paw from his duvet last night, he was so sore he could not make it on the sofa, he has slept soundly almost since he came home, his eyes are better looking now,
I checked him through the night and he followed me to bed, I lifted him up and he slept under the duvet then all night(terrible I know)

Ayway I have just re read all the lovely,kind messages you all posted, Leonard and I were just saying we are so lucky to be cruising with such an amazing bunch of friends.


Thanks again, you will never know how much they messages meant to me.

Has anybody looked at the weather in barcelona this week, it has been really lovely.

He is back

An hour ago, he was away for nearly 32 hours.

I had a terrible night, slept in the kitchen with the door open, checked the roads looking for a body a hundred times,there was 6 folks out looking for him!

Today I get a phone call to say" have you lost a beagle?" yes,yes, is he ok, yes he had a sore eye but fine, I could not stop crying, he gave me a submisive wag but would not make eye contact with me, he is looking a bit worse for wear but ok, starving and I cant decide if his nose is sunburbnt or frost bitten, but I have him back

Sorry for ignoring you, but I just could not face coming on and telling you he is still not back, I think weve both aged 10 years!

Lynne, I'm so glad that Orlando's doing better. I'm sure in the next few days hell be back to his old self! I'm just glad it worked out OK. All of us (I told the entire family including sister and mum lol) were really worried for you and were so releaved yesterday when we saw your message! Just glad there was a happy ending.

As for the weather I know! Here's hoping next year we get as lucky. Looking at the time it will be 2:15pm in Barcelona and I'm hoping well either be in the room or eating at Parrot Cay right now lol.

I can't believe it's only a year from now!! I mean, don't get me wrong I wish it were tomorrow but unfortunately Gus and I don't have paid vacation so we have to save up the money we will loose from 3 weeks off before we can even save for the fun stuff!!! And now's there less than a year to do it!! I think we need to step it up a little.

I hope so - I am just really nervous about it - but like you say I know she will be fine. I hope the weather is nice in Barcelona when we go as it will be a lot easier if we only have to pack warm weather clothing.

We sat at 8pm last night (which would have been 9pm in Barcelona) and realised we would probably be still eating tea at that point on the cruise for the first night! Fantastic!

Hi all!

Glad to hear about the return of the pup. Thank goodness!

We're all good here. Awaiting our honeymoon cruise Jan.2 which is all paid for, Palo, excursions and spa stuff booked (yay!). But BEFORE the cruise is the really special day, and prep for that is going well.

I've been reading with interest the 2011 cruise info, but I don't think it's in the cards for us with two cruises in 2010. Also, with the new tiered system of booking we'd have no chance at either tier 1 pricing or a good choice of a cabin (we're not even silver yet), so we're not going to bother to book. We're interested in an Alaska cruise or a Panama canal cruise, but will choose another line, most likely due to the above. I'm sure we'll be thrilled with our Disney cruises in 2010!

Because I love to plan vacations I am also looking at planning a spring 2012 (don't laugh, time flies!) 2+ week on the west coast, spanning from Vancouver (getting there across Canada in the 4 day silver service train ride) and heading down the west coast to San Francisco and San Diego, where we have family. We'd like to do a mix of touristy stuff and natural sight-seeing (I am desperate to see the west coast ocean and the redwood forests, among other things). Of course, we'll stop in at Disneylan for 2 days, too.

I guess I like to have the next two vacations on the brain and since the Jan cruise is all booked and done, I've moved on I think that our next vacation after that in 2013 will be a dude ranch in the States or Alberta. And then DH and I would love to go to Japan....Did I mention I love vacationing?!?

My mind at the moment is on another cruise. Two weeks from now we should just have sailed away from Port Canaveral. Somehow I managed to get behind with getting ready for that cruise. I am in the process of putting the lanyards together that I will give as the main FE gift. I have 50 done and 50 more to do. This is definitely a labour of love. I hope that I get them finished tonight and then I will finish of the gifts for the older boys tomorrow. I have a few more gifts to label as well and then I am done with this. I also have to type up the notes that I intend to leave for my Secret Mickey. I can't believe that I will nearly be in Orlando in 11 days time.
