Guys, I am having a terrible day, one of my beagles ran away at 7.30, its now nearly 2 pm, Ive been out looking for him all dayIt is not good, i am so upset, I am forcing myself to saty home in case he turns up as it is getting near dinner time.

Oh no! So sorry to hear this Lynne - you must be frantic with worry. Has he done this sort of thing before? Hope you have some good news soon ..... sending and loads of to bring him home safe xxxx

I am beside myself,thanks everybody, the wee one is wondering whats happening, everybody is so stressed,mum and dad are here looking as well.Dinner time been and gone, I will let you know if he comes back.
Why? there were 4 dogs,he was the only a***ole that ran away.

Im sure he will come back and act like nothings happened! I know one of ours ran away once and came back covered in cow doings and just looked like the most innocent thing in the world! Its terrifying but Im just praying this is what hes doing right now! Keep us posted. Were all thinking of you

We really love staying in unique places with tons of character and charm and this certainly seems to have both. It is also central - about 10 mins from las Ramblas and had really good reviews on TripAdvisor. Just thought it might be useful to share with everyone.

So bummed to hear this! We have an indoor kitty and he decided to sneak out one night while I was taking down the trash!! It took us a few hours to notice he was missing and then we were out looking for him until 1am. I couldn't sleep that night and was very upset. Around 6am I just decided to look out the front door and there he was meowing his head off!! I know cats are a little different than dogs when it comes to sticking close to home but he had never been outside on his own and I really didn't expect him to come back! So, I'm really hoping your doggy figures out how good he has it at home and comes back begging forgiveness asap!!

Lynne...I hope he is home by now and the two of you are cuddling These wayward pets come trotting in like nothing has happened, like you didn't notice when they are out galivanting around. Our Bernie almost never gets out, but the few times he did, I know he had some tales he wanted to tell me. Thinking about you and your beagle.

He is back

An hour ago, he was away for nearly 32 hours.

I had a terrible night, slept in the kitchen with the door open, checked the roads looking for a body a hundred times,there was 6 folks out looking for him!

Today I get a phone call to say" have you lost a beagle?" yes,yes, is he ok, yes he had a sore eye but fine, I could not stop crying, he gave me a submisive wag but would not make eye contact with me, he is looking a bit worse for wear but ok, starving and I cant decide if his nose is sunburbnt or frost bitten, but I have him back

Thats AWESOME your beagle has returned and he is ok.
I lost one as a pup in a swampy area in Florida and it was so stressful until she returned. Mine was scratched up, raw feet and full of ticks but survived and she NEVER ran off again Hopefully your will have learned his lesson too and it will be smooth sailing from now on.
This is just like a Disney movie with a Happy ending

just had a few minutes and was trying to get caught up on posts here but there are too many. Your a chatty bunch lately
I am still gone alot with taking care of my moms affairs. One of these days I will be around more for posting, I hope.

We are thinking about doing a Pamana canal cruise in 2011. I'm sure some of you have done a PC cruise. How was it? I know Disney is going to be great but how were the ports and such? Any tips for making the most of it? I dont want to miss any highlights. I know its along ways off but we like to plan ahead when possible and we have been talking about it.
We will probably book it on our November cruise and then decide for sure over the next few weeks when we have more time to investigate it.

Hope all of you are doing well. We are almost at the one year mark!!

Kathy, I loved the ports on the Caribbean side of our PC cruise. Aruba was wonderful. My favorite port was Cartegena Columbia, but looks like the 2011 one isn't stopping there. I had a good time at the Mexican ports, but wasn't wowed. Although zipling was a lot of fun. But nothing beats PC day. Seeing the ships squeeze through the locks was fascinating.

I'd say go for it, but keep in mind the PC cruise is only about 10 weeks after this TA cruise. That's put a damper on a lot of folks who were thinking of both cruises.
