Hi Ya'll hope everyone is having a good weekend.

After about seven years of procrastination, my youngest son is outside finishing the back yard. I might have a nice place to sit by this evening!!!

He had been working on a rock wall and steps and then a paver area for sitting. He has a few friends helping and we are going to make grilled chicken and potato salad.

We haven't had a question of the week for a while.

On your cell phone do you have a Disney ringtone? Mine is Soaring. I love hearing that. My BFF Stephanie has the DCL horn when I call her, Spectro when her daughter calls, Spoon Full of Sugar when her son calls cause it is usually her grandson calling.

Hi y'all!

We have lovely weather here today: sunny, warm, and breezy. We're re-staining the kids' wooden play structure (a huge clubhouse/swingset/slide/tunnel thing) today, a job long overdue (we got some major hail in the spring that really damaged the finish and I want it to last for 10 years).

We got the last of the back-to-school things done: haircuts, new shoes, etc. At the same time I bought my oldest and growingish (he's 11) his winter snow jacket and ski pants as last year we had so much trouble finding stuff past October. My daughter went up *3* shoe sizes since last year! She's now a size 5 at 9 years of age, poor girl. My feet are size 12 (that's a European 44, right?)! I am, however, 5'10" so I guess I need them long so I don't fall over (it was having 3 kids that made my feet suffer).

We also got boots and mitts and hats, as ridiculous as that felt given the weather out. I am so poor right now after the month of expenditures (our honeymoon cruise payment was paid, too!). We are on a strict budget this month through to the wedding. Luckily we have a full freezer and pantry, and about 12 lbs of green coffee I can roast at home to feed my addiction, so you won't see me at Starbucks.

I have a cruise-related question: what time will the boarding start for our cruise? The same as the Florida cruises? Trying to plan our last Barcelona day... Thanks.

Hi everyone!
We booked this cruise onboard after our first cruise on the Magic 5/16! We were part of the Key Lime Pie-rates DisGroup and had a blast meeting our fellow Diser's. Looking forward to being part of this group as well!

I've been waiting to post until I had read all the threads and finally after some 750 pages I'm finally done!! I feel like I have gotten to know some of you already!
I'm Chasity and my fiance is Gus. We celebrated our 10th year together on the 5/16 cruise. We currently have no date set so no wedding plans anytime soon. No kids yet. We are both in our early 30's and this will only be our second cruise and our first trip to Europe! We can't wait!!!

I think the last question posted was what trips we have planned before this one...
We live in Southern California, about 30 minutes from DL so we have passes and get to go often. We'll be spending 3 days there next weekend to attend the Disney Expo!
In Oct we'll be heading Vegas for 4 days to see U2 at Sam Boyd Stadium!!
In Nov we'll be going to WDW to particpate in the first ever east coast Mouse Adventure that we do here at Disneyland ever year...

We'll be staying 2 days at AKL and 5 days at the new Bay Lake Towers!
We'll also be heading over to Universal since we haven't been there since 2001.
On Nov 21st & 22nd we'll be staying with our best friends at the new Grand Californian Villas.
In July 2010 we go to San Diego for 4 days to attend Comic-Con.
And that will do it until this cruise!! Lots of exciting stuff to look forward to!

I've been to the website and will send all our info shortly. I've also joined the Facebook group so I think we are all set! I'm not a big poster so you might not see me a lot but I will always be reading everything and keeping up!!




Gus and I will be doing Mouse Adventure on Nov 14th (see above). We are team Kungalooshed! I'm sure we will see you there!

It's quiet here - I hope everyone finds the thread!

I think many of us are just moping because it's still more than a whole YEAR until we reach Barcelona, and embark on the WB.

I haven't looked at these boards for months (because I got off the Magic in January), but just thought I'd drop in to see how we're doing.

I guarantee that this board will get more active as we get closer. Aside from anything else, MJ wouldn't PERMIT us not to be excited. And while I've never met Cap'n Jack, I suspect he's the same way....

If you have an iphone, one should also be using itunes. When searching the store look for a little bell symbol beside a song title and you will know that it can be used as a ring tone on the iphone. I think it is a 30 second clip of the song, I don't have an iphone yet, so I don't know the specs for sure.

As far as Germany is concerned, how about Mainz? This is my favourite city in Germany and it is still close to Frankfurt airport.
