Lol, that is really crazy because we will also be there when you are there for Brooklyn and Madison's B-day! My mom's b day is June 15th so we are going for that whole weekend. We should try to make a mini meet since we seem to visit DL at the same time! Are there any restaurants that you and the girls particularly like? We could meet up for a dinner some day while you are there.

Anyone else around during that time?

I know crazy isn't it? I think last time I priced it (which was before the currency crash so who knows now) it was £500 each for a week in Disney or around £400 each for a weekend in DLP if you added on travel etc for us! Crazy! I know which I'd rather!

We won't be at Disneyland, we will be in Disney World and now we just booked another Disney Cruise. It leaves, June 13th and I am SOOOOOO excited!

We watched the new celebrate parade yesterday and I did not like it. I thought Parade of Dreams was SOOOOOO much better!

Another question...they are opening a Disney Vacation Club Dreams Preview Center at a mall here on Long Island. I would love to become a seasonal cast member there. Anyone have any idea how I would go about doing this?

Did you see the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It Parade on Main St.? It is awesome. My son, who is a cast member at WDW, said that they are changing the Celebrate the Dreams Come True Parade. There will be more accessible characters.

I am not sure the exact name. It started yesterday. I did not care for it. It was not bad, it was just not my idea of a Disney parade.

There was too much dancing, most people just stood and starred at the numerous dancers. Then when a character would happen to walk by the crowd would go nuts. Then the character would keep walking and the crowd would once again wait for something new to happen. The crowd interaction was ok but not memorable. Like I said it was not bad but the parade of dreams was much more magical and the Disney style that I prefer. We watched with friends who are CM's most felt the way I did but some loved it.

I think it is like the show on the last TA's...that When Mickey Dreams show....people either loved it or hated it.

Hello Everyone!

We wanted to say Hello and that we will be crossing with all of you!!!

This time we are hoping that the time is much better on our bodies then the first time in May 07. We were on the Disney Magic.

It will me, DH (rufustee) and DD (six now, will be 7 on the cruise) along with a good friend of mine for twenty years.

I did register on the other website.... If there is anything I need to know now, ie fish extender teams, mini meets, scrapbooking, please PM me so I can stay in the loop.

I will be checking periodically in. This coming week is going to be busy. DD has her standard school testing, DH will be at work too much and I will be holding the fort. Along with my usual chores, I am getting ready to go to Vegas for a week. YEAH!!!! I am just praying that I won't have any snow on the drive down to VEGAS!! Any one there?? Any one want to meet? If you do please PM me.

I am praying to not waking up to tons of snow as the weather man is saying will be getting!

I am so excited! I started packing last night, well I should say organizing!

A part of me wants to use my OBC and discount from the TA this summer then rebook the TA but we have secret porthole room and a sideways 11 that I don't want to give up for the TA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

We were supposed to be going to WDW for 13 nights and by adding in the cruise it is only going to cost us about $500 more bc of the military discount they are offering!

One thing I am so excited about is that we booked our pre and post nights through DCL instead of WDW. DCL got us the Swan and Dolphin for $110 a night, no additional taxes or anything! The best is that the $70 we were already paying in transfers for each person will get us from the Airport to the hotel, the hotel to the port, port to hotel and hotel to airport!!!

We always wanted to stay at the Swan and Dolphin but it was too much money and no magical express. For $110 a night out the door plus transfers I was paying for anyway! I am sold!!! We had Caribean Beach for 4 nights after cruise with the military discount plus quick service dining...it was going to cost $1074. We were able to add 4 nights at the Swan for $440. Now that does not include food but there is no way we would spend $600 on food in 4 days.

Well, winter weather has setteld back in Germany with a vengenceIt is cold (temps hovering right around freezing) with plenty of wind and rain to boot. Bad timing as Marika's class trip is next week. Her (male) teacehr and I are the only two adults going and there are 10 kids. We will be gone M-F and be spending (supposedly PLEASE dear teacher relent and change plans PLEASE) nearly all of Tues-Thurs out of doors. I am taking my computer but no one is sure if we will haev net access or not so I amy not be back posting until next weekend (assuming my finger do not freeze off and then I will never be able to post again!)
