Ok! Today is kicking our butts! Kids are still doing great, but me and DH aren't. I don't know if we ate bad food yesterday (Qdoba) or what? Both of us woke up with stomach aches, diarrhea and DH vomitting. Could it be getting up at 2:30a? I don't think so. I sure hope it goes away, though!

Getting excited seeing everyone leaving! We still have all day tomorrow. We leave Thursday morning. Again, a big thank you to everyone who worked on the navigator, tastings, teas and everything else! We are so excited since the last 3 Disney cruises we've never been apart of the DIS meet group. Sure wish we knew about this before.

Can I vent, steam and cry for a moment? Please feel free to pass this by, but - be warned dining is involved...

So, I think that I was doing a pretty good job of keeping it together. I packed for the 4 of us, I did the tastings (and all tickets were charged today!!), I did the FE, I am waiting to print out the navigators as I wanted to bring some extras, and I have the master list info from Glenn - so I can print them tomorrow at work.

Then I got the bomb shell... (OK skimmers, STOP and read!!)

Dining has changed AGAIN!!!!

I swear I am close to tears. I just got everything figured out and now BAMMO, it is changed. All I know is that the second formal night has changed. I don't have rotations - but I have asked for them... I could be wrong - maybe it is just the night of the formal night...

OK - yes, it is just the night of the 2nd formal night. It is now on night 7. I am beside myself. Nothing has been easy today! Nothing!!! I could just sit and cry right now!

My house looks like a bomb went off, Beccas teacher decided that she wouldn't send school work with her, and told me that she will get 5 days to finish 2 weeks of work (the week they are in and the week that we missed) which is totally different than what we were told last year. I am afraid of what Stephen will be up against and he is working so hard to keep his grades up. I am doing a send off lunch for one of my senior employees tomorrow. He is moving to Australia on the 1st and I won't be here for that. I am an emotional wreck! I really can't take any more. So I am sitting in the gym watching Becca flip all over and all I want to do is cry...

WAHHHHHHH WAHHHHHHH WAHHHHHHH

Ok - pity party is over...

Planning a vacation this big is sort of like planning your first wedding, isn't it?!

Not that I've had more than one wedding. But I can totally relate to how you are feeling! I think I'll relax once we are at Le Meridien, and not one second before.

You've done a great job for all of us here; karma will come back to you even if it doesn't seem like it at the moment.

I have re-confirmed our DIS meet at HRC. When you arrive, ask for the manager on duty to receive your drink discount wristbands. Prices are confirmed as:

3.00EUROS (SODAS/WATER/HOUSE WINE/LOCAL BEER)
6.00 EUROS (Gordons Gin, Smirnoff Vodka, Bacardi Rum, J&B Whiskey + soda)

We will be in the downstairs bar.

WahWahWah, My step mum just came and took my furbaby, Holly. The house is so empty without her, I sat on the coach bawling foe an hour, I really am pathetic, Ok, I am about 10 pages back, will catch up eventually.
2 more sleeps!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the worst part of vacation, isn't it? I would love to take our little ones with us! Though then I suppose I would worry about them taking a dive off the verandah ....

Well, we've got another hour and a half before the shuttle picks us up for the airport. It's going to be a LONG couple of days of flying (BJX-MEX-LAX-LHR-BCN) but we arrive Wednesday night. It's been fun chatting with y'all, commiserating with y'all, laughing with y'all (never AT y'all!), and planning with y'all!

Good luck to those of you who are finishing up the packing, getting in those last few days of work, and looking for the missing hair that you're pulling out right now.

Uh oh. About an hour ago I looked to see what time my haircut/color is today, remembering it was around noon. My own written notation states it was for LAST Tuesday. Seriously.....I've thought all along it was for the day before I left for vaca!

If she tried calling me or even sent a reminder text as she always does, since my phone died a week ago Saturday, I never would have got it, especially since I changed service providers. UGH! I'm waiting to hear back if maybe I just wrote the wrong date down. **Fingers Crossed**

If not, be forewarned. I'll be a shaggy mess with roots!

I've totally done that! One time we wound up making a pit stop before getting on the ship and bought hair color. Once we got on the ship, I did my roots, and I made Mike do the back of my head. It wasn't pretty .....

Good luck with your appt. Maybe even if you did write it down wrong, they can still fit you in. And even if you are a "shaggy mess with roots," you know no DISer will care!



I still have one night left of work, but it is a midnight tour and I'm hoping that will help me adjust to the time change, so it's not all bad. Mike actually was able to take tonight off. That means he is doing laundry and ironing for me tonight.

Life is kind of funny....you plan and plan and plan and when you think things are just right something or somebody throws a monkey wrench in and changes everything.....we booked this 2 years ago with the thought that maybe we will do the cruise and maybe not....so it was a go and we decided to go for it and cruise....along the way we have had bumps in the road but we dealt with them....anyway....DW went to the foot doctor yesterday since her foot has been giving her grief....so now she has to wear a boot on the foot since she has bad tendenitis in the foot....so we are flying for over 8 hours and cruising for 14 night s with the boot.....it is just one of the things that makes life interesting......
So...to all that has spent hours and hours working on all the tastings, navigators.....pins....t-shirts.....tours....transportation....jewelry classes.....tours....and anything I have forgotten....may I say thank you to you.....I know the effort it takes to organize things with a lot of people and sometimes you just cannot make everybody happy....but you did!

OK, taught my last class this morning; next one --October 5.

We take off for Atlanta from Dulles at 12:15 pm tomorrow and then on to Barcelona. I know that there are a few DIS folk on our flight from Atlanta to Barcelona so I'll be looking out for you to say HI.

ALMOST finished packing. Just collecting all the little things like sunglasses, hair clips, and one more pair of shoes (in Greg's suitcase, of course). I know I'm forgetting something but hey, there's plenty of stores in Barcelona. The only thing I'm still puzzling over is how warm a jacket/sweater to bring for those days at sea...

Thanks to all who were so welcoming when we joined two months ago and to those dynamos who organized so many wonderful activities!

See some of you on the flight, at Le Meridien or at the HRC--we'll be the ones dragging in from our 5 mile "Shadow of the Wind" walking tour. If not, see you on board the Magic!

Again, safe travels - you've got a long haul!!!

Well, I've decided to not fight it anymore. I'll be taking 2 large suitcases and one small along with my carry-on. The small one is entirely filled with gifts

The hourly countdown is on! I'll be leaving for the airport in 28 hours and meeting 16 of you at PHL in 33 hours!!

It's so exciting to hear many of you signing out today!!! After today, we will have already sent off the "Part 1 of 4" group from the Inbound Barcelona List!

I just spoke to (Hoagie Pie) Sandi!!! It's so enjoyable to actually hear others excitement in their voice!

Well, I have lots to accomplish yet including hair cut and color and some final packing touches. Hope everyone still hanging out with me in the real world has a productive day at work and/or home!
