Hey, like I said before we don't really drink alot at home but on cruises we seem to. Does anyone have some good rescipes on like tropical drinks? I have found those are a little more to my liking instead of the hard stuff. 'Course a couple bottles of Champange will find there way into my cooler bag :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I stumbled across a drink by accident one night while at Texas Roadhouse... it was called a Jamacian Cowboy... YUMMMM I'm not much of a drinker, but it was GOOOOD... I asked the bartender what was in it and it was..

Pineaple Juice
OJ
Margarita Mix
Peach Schnaps
Coconut Rum

I tried making it at home and just kinda threw the ingred. together on ice and YUMMMM....

:rolleyes1

Man, now I have to go buy some OJ and Pineaple juice!!! I have a craving for one!!!!

Susan, we are on the 12:30pm flight from Orlando to KC on Saturday. I'll bet we are on the same flight. We will have to rush together!

We opted for the later direct flight out on Friday. We live abt 3-3.5 hours from KCI, so it will make it easier on me, at least.

I know what you are saying abt shoes. I brought one whole suitcase with shoes last year! I know I need less daytime outfits this year, tend to stay in swimsuit all day, even on port days, but have more princess dresses to bring.

Sounds like I better do some planning! Yipee.

Ksumom, that does sound very YUMMY!! :goodvibes I'll have to give it a try here at home to make sure DH agrees..

Lord I haven't even thought about SHOES!!! Your right there's not a space bag for those :rotfl:

Hey Goofyboots, welcome aboard to the Flip Floppin' Castaways. Always glad to have newcomers join the party!

Hope everyone is having a great day so far.

Later everyone,
Emily

Goofyboots, WELCOME!!! TO you and your family! Glad to have you!

Susan, How do you get the air out of the bags? How are the wrinkles? Can you repack them on vacation (get the air out of the bags)?

Crystal, Sorry about your co-worker. One of my clients just called and her daughter jumped off a 20 foot cliff and missed the water...no short term memory, no critical thinking skills, no reasoning and that's just the mental part. SOOOOO scary. Makes you grateful for all you have. Life can change like that.

The Flip Floppin Castaways info sheet is updated. Anyone who wants to add info, let me know and I will send out updated copies to anyone I have e-mail for (and anyone else who wants it). It has infor such as screen name, room number, names and ages, city/state, e-mail, excursions and even palo res. Just saves looking back through thousands of posts. I can add where people are staying if we think we need it but I thought it would be fine without. If I don't have some of your info and you would like it to be included, post it. :)

It's like a ziplock bag, I haven't actually used them yet, I may try it for our Colorado trip to test them out. From what I hear no wrinkles... but I'll believe it when I see it! You roll it & squeeze the air out the other end then zip or seal it up at the other end... you can reuse them... some types have a vaccum pump to pull the air out a hole, or use your vaccum cleaner hose.

Anyone else have experience under your belt on the bags?? I'll let ya know what I find out.

Jen, I'll take an updated copy please. Thanks. Emily

Me too!! I've tried to keep everyone straight, but I keep getting everyone mixed up! Like who's who... from where, with who and how many kids ... kids ages stuff like that!! Too much to remember!!!

I have found myself going back more than once to figure people and kids out.

I mentioned to Jen in a PM that exchanging cell phone numbers might not be a bad idea. A few of us had them last year and then.........turned out we really needed them! It was fabulous to be able to share information in an unforseen situation. DCL was really not communicating well so we could at least pass on to eachother what we knew.

Thanks for doing that list Jen,

Missy

Jen, I know in the begining we were waiting to order....is it ok to order now?? I must have missed that thread :confused3 sorry

Hope all have a good night :cloud9:

Tammy, I haven't received it yet but should be receiving it any day. You can order if you want but may as well wait for me to check the quality (I worry about the pixels)

Susan, no bags under my belt....bags under my eyes and rolls under my belt :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

If anyone wants to send cell phone and e-mail (for maybe after the cruise) to me, I will put them on. I think it is safe to say noone in this group will sell them off for profit! :teeth:

Jen,

That's why I don't wear belts... they show off the rolls!!! Both the northern & southern hemisphere!! (Belly button is the equator!!) :rotfl2:

Jen Send me an updated copy too please... they advertise no wrinkles but I too will believe it when I see it. We're going out of town soon, I'll use mine also.

Tonight looking over DD dress choice :earsgirl:

Jen sent you an e-mail..I love the journal so I can take notes everyday of our wonderful experience on board with our Dis friends :disrocks:
