Jenny, I'm not sure about pirate night yet....going to see what comes out for halloween (cheap costumes). I think it just makes it more fun and a lot of people do dress up so go for it!
I just ordered something from the shop....I will let you know how it looks when I get it. Question....it wants referral e-mails and will send you a $5 off coupon, but I am reluctant to give out your e-mails without permission. My DSis felt sorry for me and her and my DD went and bought material for Pirate night. Was only going to be DGS...by the time they returned looks like DD, DS, DGS and DSGF will be dressed out for pirate night have learned to never give DD my card and send her to Walmart Oh well, their all talking about a halloween party after that in October It seems to never end!!

Looks like on that night DH and myself will look a little out of place at our table

Shmora - let's hope this Hurricane - oops - September cruise works out better than last year. Although the standing joke in my family is that I booked a cruise so I wouldn't have to go through putting up shutters, pulling down shutters, putting up shutters, evacuating, pulling down shutters, no power, cleaning up, putting up shutters, giving up on evacuating, pulling down shutters!

Missy - great job on saving the group $.

Jen and everyone - Do you think we should change the Sweet Sue Selebration to another night? With almost the entire group on Lord Sheffields, I think you'll be too pooped to party. My Palo ressies also got changed to 6:30 when I added my DB and DSIL (that was the only thing left for a table of 4). Maybe an afternoon Thursday, 3-5 thing?

Emily - suite neighbors? TOO COOl!

Jenny - we've gotten into a decorating family game for the doors. Nana and I are decorating our door (with Christina's help) and DSIL (Erin) and DB (Rex) will be decorating their doorr with DN (Tyler) help! The teams have already spent a fortune at Target and art stores - and Nana's home depot doesn't have any Mickey paint chips left (in ANY color). Nothing like a family competition to get the excitement going!

BRAD - I vote for the boring job. Barely a boo since you've been promoted! Sounds like all is well!

Jenny (again) - Love to dress up and been thinking about your pirate idea the whole time. Just might go for it (have to convince Nana though...)

Whew! Caught up now. Had a great time with DD over the weekend. It was as quiet as 4th of July on the beach can get - NOT! Bought scrapping stuff and a dry-erase board with palm trees for the door. Bought travel books and read them. Swam lots in the pool. Baked cupcakes for the neighbors and visited. DD got her first burn (silly me - handed her a sparkler thinking nothing of it and she said "oh, pretty" and touched the end. ) DD was amazingly well-behaved (saving her "worst" behavior for the cruise, I'm sure). All in all - a great holiday.

Getting really excited. Is it yet?

Not much going on here, just thought I would stop in and say hi. I'm taking the boys to the St. Louis zoo tomorrow. It should be fun and the weather is suppose to be nice, not to hot. Sweet Sue...I thought we had the selebration after St Thomas, right. The Lord Sheffield is on Tues in St Martin (pirate night). I have no problem changing to Thursday but wanted to point that out. You decide....it' your big day. The only negative thing is you having to leave at 6:15 ish. When will you get ready if you are on shore until 4?

about the cabin tour. we will do our best on sunday pm, but DKids are in flounders until 2 (doing a practise run for Palos on monday) and they finish at two so we will prob have to feed them and then at about three thirty do naps (late naps to fit in with late dining) which means we would likely miss part of the tour. however don't change plans based on this as kids are unpredictable at the best of times and may not be a problem at all.

I have no idea what we will be wearing to Pirates night. we would like to dress up but our luggage limit is well limited! so we will just have to see how it goes.

Michelle and Sue, I could only put in five names in the e-mail thing so I did the first five that responded. I'm sure it will come up everytime someone orders, soooo the next two people who need on the $5 off e-mail list are sweet sue and Michelle....I can give your their super espionage e-mails when you order. Wendy got the coupon and they said she would not be getting any more e-mails unless she wanted them (we will see).

My kids start school this morning! It is so weird because today is the first day they will BOTH be in school for full days (9:10 - 4:00). I feel like I have graduated and all my hard work up until now is having a pay off. What will I do with all my time. Yee Haw! I will still do a mural here and there to keep the work police off my back (husband) but it is just sooooo weird!

Well I gained a 1/2pound (if you want the half empty version), I like to look at it like I gained 3.5 lbs and lost 3 lbs. Vacations kill a diet!

Well, not much here, just busy as heck! Went back to the gym last night! (after 2 weeks of not going!)

No loss, no gain this week...(well, I lost .3 pounds, but I'm only going to count whole pounds)
...See? So Jen, that relieves you of your .5 pound gain!

Way to go Michelle!!!

I think we will be dressing up for pirate night! We haven't gotten our "gear" yet, but we're planning to!

First things first. To Missy-As Gomer Pyle would say "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!! . We are on Southwest. $500 to fly into Orlando was too good to pass up. Screw that 14 hour drive, w/ the bickering kids. A 2 hour plane ride sounded good to DW & I. I was like Trish, got the email, but figured it would not be any cheaper than the last time I checked, so deleted it. Thanks again, missy. Now I just need to get the deal on the Hyatt hotel for Friday.

The job is going well. It certainly is not as boring as my previous assignment. Much more paperwork, but much less physical work, (yeee haww!!).

Jen-let me know how the shirts look when you get yours. I plan to order a couple of things.

Probably no dress up for pirate night for us, just the bandannas they give us in the dining room. This may be subject to change with the kiddos.

jenny- I would like a door sign. Can the art be e-mailed, then I could print it out here?

sweetsue- I think we are in for the Sweet Sue Celebration. I would like to check out a suite, and have a or 2.

Hey everyone, TGIF!!!!! Thank God the week is finally over. Sorry I haven't been around much this week, with DH working 3rd all week, I've been away from a computer at night, so hopefully next week I'll get back to regular posting.

About the cabin tour. While I would love to show our room I can't. If it was just me and DH I would, but since my parents are also with us, I can't really do that. I'll still participate though as long as it doesn't interfere with Palo brunch or something else. It's a shame we don't know anyone in one of the Cat 1's, I'd love to see that.

Hope all have grand/or relaxing plans for this weekend

I have to get ready for my DH parents 50 anniversary on the 16th. We're going to try and surprise them...setting the Church up for the Vow renewal and food has been squeezed in between work this week.

My DSIL's are just dragging their feet on this and it's such a big deal. Like I told them I wish my parents would have made their 50th. My DH is providing all the food for 150 people..due to he just did it tired of waiting on others. So last night we went to the Church to see the kitchen layout and found out that DSIL's didn't send out invitations till last night!! (Great Scott!!) Plus found out they haven't got any clue about the decorations.....they've done nothing!!! Do they not realize that we're talking NEXT weekend??? They are going to drive me CRAZY!


Sorry for pulling out everyone's eye scokets just a lot of pressure..

Like all of you I reserve that little bit of time each day to think about our trip Thank goodness for those lovely thoughts...

I waited until Southwest had the fare sale to even book my air! Good news is that we are saving lots of money...enough to go back for MNSSHP at WDW in October! (Gotta change my tickers)

Thanks for the updates Jenny and welcome backs everyone. I can tell you, I will not be able to keep up...so will someone just PM me the meet info when it is settled? I'll try to drop in and read every once in a while.

We are in room 6554, our first time on this floor..normally we are on Deck 7. However, I hear the rooms are the same. I am concerned about the location with the elevators, but that was chosen because of my MIL and her ability to walk great distances (she is in the connecting room). Hopefully it won't be an issue.

I think our brunch is on Thursday. Our Palo dinner is Friday night.

As for dining rotations, we have kiddos (11 and 7) and last year we started in Lumiere's.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. We are leaving in a couple of hours for the balloon festival in Steamboat. I hope they take off this year. Last year we crawled out of our tent, drove the 30 min from the lake and they were cancelled due to high wind. This year we will set our alarm, walk (refreshed) out of the resort and cheer them on. I cannot tell you how glad I am going to be to not be sleeping on the ground.

Yesterday was great (kids in school). I went shopping and went to lunch with the girls. I have a feeling, though, that mister grumpy is going to start expecting more out of me (clean house). What a party pooper! It is a new day, however!!
Can't wait until the cruise!!! Start exercising next week. I have a "date" to meet some girlfriends at 5 am to start walking. As sickningly early as this is, we did this everyday a couple of summers ago (for about 8 miles) and I was by far my skinniest. I have to do something!!!
