Hello to all, I was just wondering if my pc froze on this page(lol). I hope all are fine. I was watching the travel channel last night and they had a pice on the Disney ships. I believe it lasted for an hour, nice show. Then they showed other ships as well on the program that followed. I must admit it took me back. I also just got off the phone with Carnival, I(personnaly) booked my September 17,2006 cruise very early( perhaps the end of Sept.), and then I checked with my travel agent and found that they had it for less, so I called Carnival and got an even cheaper price. Well, alls well that ends well.

David I watched the same special, took me back also...way back wishing I was back on the ship
We'll be cruising next year with Disney I hear in 2007 Disney will really be expensive. To me they are now but looking at the prices they have on line and what we got the rooms for through Disney we did save. Hopeing to go on Carnival also....I know when 2007 hits and their prices are even higher we will have to make other cruises. Especially when you can take two Carnivals for the price of one Disney Don't get me wrong we LOVED Disney better but...

Hello Tammy1, i'm glad to see that I am not the only one left. I hope you and your family enjoy you'll next Disney cruise. I will cruise them again someday but I just have to plan it really in advance to save up for the cost. OK... Everyone must be on an exciting vacation or another cruise hope everyone is doing well....trying to get it together for Thanksgiving..you know where you going to go.... who's house...who's bringing what....

We actually started pulling out Christmas decorations this past weekend. I know a lot of people would say WHAT!!! This early??? But the problem is if you have a lot of decorations and you don't start getting them out and placed then...by the time you get the last one's up it's time for them all to come down. So...wish me luck Now the tree won't go up until after Thanksgiving. I'm not THAT bad. Nice to hear from you David, happy sailing when you do cruise, and I know what you mean.

I'm still hangin around. It's snowing here in Kansas today! We just got through with 60 degree weather & now this?? Crazy days of Kansas! It reminds me of living in Colorado! (But not as pretty).

I'm still here, too. Emily and I just got home last night from a weekend back "home" in Omaha. I'm still recovering.

Just a couple of weeks and we'll be down in Anaheim for our first visit to Disneyland. I'm looking forward to it!

My foot is getting there. I'm out of the boot and just taking it easy. Still can't jump or run on it. It's still a bit sore, but a lot of that is probably tendon involvement, too.

I'm ready for our DL trip; I need something to cheer me up after leaving our old home behind again.

I have been so busy that I actually forgot about the disborads...but we were on another exciting vacation! We went to Las Vegas last week. had a great time! I celebrated my 35 birthday there...oops...gotta run...going to be last to pick up Ayden from pre-school!

Hope all are still alive and well, and I need to see something new even if it's my own writing,,lol. Happy belated Thanksgiving to all and have a Very Merry,,,, well I still have time so i'll save that for later. But heres my gift list, you'll don't have to buy in this order though.

1) A new car, I will accept one of those Hybrids.
2) One years supply of gas ( should cost less if I get the hybrid), that can be in the form of one of those gas station cards.
3)One cruise (of my choice) paid in full,, ok, you'll can choice the cruise line as long as it's paid in full, at least 7 days please.
4) # 3 again, but at 6 months later, same rules apply.
5) The chance to tell you'll that you'll have made my Christmas very very special.
6) If I receive none of the above, a wish of a Merry christmas will be very special,,, Not very very special like it will be if I do receive those gifts, but it it will be very special.
7) Take care all and I hope all are in the best of health.

Hey all! Somehow I missed all the chatter. Just got a notification that David posted and wow! everyone is saying hi!
Here is my note back from Sweet Sue

Jen,

That is so sweet of Deege. I can't believe he would think of us. I just barely met him for a few minutes along with his son. He is very nice - and very sneaky about making sure I can't say no!

I FINALLY got back DSL. It took forever! We got our electricity back last week and the DSL took a few more days. I have 1000's of email messages to go through. I've only done a quick scan.

Things are going farely well. I have a contract to replace our roof and we should get that done before Christmas. The FEMA adjuster was here last week and the insurance adjuster should be here next week. I'll be happy to finally take down the twisted metal formerly called a shed. The insurance company said I had to leave it so they could verify it existed! Oh well...

Everything here is slowly getting back to "normal". All of the traffic lights are starting to get replaced. There are still a few ones that have only one fixture instead of the normal three. A lot of left turn lanes don't have left turn signals anymore. I can only imagine how many teenage boys have a traffic light at home!

It looks a bit like Colorado here right now. The wind blew many trees down and those that are left standing had limbs broken and lost all of there leaves. It does look like winter with a bunch of stick trees. My tree is just starting to sprout new leaves, so in a few weeks it should look like spring!

Christina is doing well. We're all under a bit of stress so she's been acting up a bit at school. I had one call from her teacher and one note - and that's just last week! Every time we get close to home, Christina talks about how "We have power!". And she also says we need to have "5 generators - so we always have power!".

Well - gotta run. Christina is paging me "ARE YOU DONE??????", so I better go. Say "Hi!" to the group for me. I've got so much going on with contractors and inspectors I don't have much time to go online - let alone read email.

THanks for keeping everyone updated - and for thinking about us. It really helps to know that others worry and care.

It took her a while to get back to me but, the checks in the mail, as they say....actually, it is on my bar but WILL be in the mail shortly. That was so thoughtful David.

Hope everyone is doing great and had a good holiday. I am just painting away and stressing over getting it all done. It has been an incredible fall but today (and yesterday) are FREEZING. One day and I am already complaining...Great!

Jen, glad you heard from Sue. I was really beginning to worry. I'd sent her a couple of things and hadn't heard from her. I figured it was due to the fact they still didn't have power and I know once things get back to normal she'll get back to me.

I really feel great this morning knowing that Sue and her family are doing fine. I feel so good I may just go and mow the,,, oh boy I just got an instant headache. Thanks for everything Jen, and I must thank your family as well because your time is their time. I know I didn't spend as much time with you guys as I had planned, but I believe that a second of a persons time can equate to a life time of memories and friendship. By the way if anyone have any free time March 19-26 2006 and would like to spend a week in Pennsylvania (Poconos, Shawnee Resorts) I have some timesharing there that I am not using in March and I don't like saving it, I would rather have someone else enjoy themselvies. If interested let me know and we can make arrangements to meet at the resort and then you can enjoy your stay. Oh well,, gotta run, take care all and keep the board up and running. Cant believe it's about 60 degrees here in NY in late November. Somebody up there must be watching over us with the home heating cost what it is, as I speak I hear my radiators starting to clink,,lol.
