Sept. 11th cruise

My wife, our daughter and I are sailing on the western carribean cruise on September 11th(my bithday) Can anybody get me some info on the best FAMILY excursions and on wether or not i could rent some motor powered "SEADOO" on castaway or on any other of the islands??

Hi there! I am sailing on the same cruise and my birthday is on the 10th! Happy Birthday!!!

You can book your excursions anytime now, though the more popular ones may be harder to get. We are taking our 3.5 year old dd on the dolphin discovery on Cozumel, and I am jet-skiing with Disney on CC. Key West and Grand Cayman we're doing on our own. Have you looked at the DCL site to browse through the offerings? It's a great place to start!

My daughter is about the same age (3 1/2) and I was really thinking about the Dolphin discovery...the only problem is that i'm not sure she'll step in the water with dolphins swimming around!!!


How about jet skiing are you renting them on site...canyou reserve in advance????

I have the same fear - but she tells me she wants to so we'll give it a shot. I am going to have the camera ready though for the first time one of the 500 pound animals brushes up against her - ought to be priceless!!!!!!!

I reserved the jet-ski excursion in advance. You don't just get to take them out to ride, you go on a tour of the island on a jet ski at an appointed time. You do need to make reservations for this.

I'm sure that our daughters will meet in the club. My little girl is Dierdre. How about yours?

Have you been on the Sept. 11th thread on the Cruise Meet board? I think I would of remembered you because we have the same name and I have a 3 1/2 y/o daughter, Kambria. Come check out the thread for our cruise. We are planning to meet on the day we board around 3 at the Mickey Pool for a quick hello. I will tell Kambria about Dierdre. Kambria is very interested in making new friends on Mickey's Boat.

I posted on the cruise meet board about your daughter and mine being the same age. We haven't decided yet if we are going to attempt any excursions with Kambria like the Dolphins or Stingrays. Still weighing the pros and cons.
