yes the MCO. We stayed last time and it was so nice as we will arrive late and just being able to go up stairs to our room will make it much easier. We will have a driver take us either in the limo or whatever they end up sending. We found it was cheaper doing that than using the bus. Plus we can stop for our drinks


Tristen will be turning 3 on Sept 24 just after the cruise. So we are going to celebrate a week early.

Has anyone else decided to stay at the HYATT? I am looking for the best options for transfers from the HYATT to the port. Wondering what other people are doing.

OHhhhh but it is easy.
Give this a try and if your mouse won't cooperate, ask Shannon There, the list is below, so just start at the bottom, left click your mouse and move it to the left and up until the whole post is highlighted (title too) then right click on the highlighted portion for the drop down list, and click on COPY, then go to your first post, cllick on edit, then right click for the drop down list and click on PASTE. DONE then save the post.

OMG! I can't believe I did it! And it worked on the second try! I was ready to blame the mouse but I didn't have to. You do realize, though, that if you want me to do this again that I will need the instructions repeated and my mouse may or may not cooperate.

Above is a link to see what ships are going to be in Nassau while we are there in September. Guess who is going to be there with us............... it is going to be Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas!!! I sure hope Nassau doesn't sink with all of those extra people on the island!!!

DW and I have been to Nassau before, but we do want to check out some of the historical sites we missed before on one of our stops on Nassau on this B2B cruise. On our second stop on Nassau we will probably stay on board the Dream and do some exploring of this beautiful ship.

It was a site like this one, that tells how many ships in port, that made us change our Cozumel plans for the day we were to be there last fall. There were due to be 6 Cruise Ships in Port, which meant something like 15, 000 cruise passengers descending onto Cozumel. So our Dis group booked out a private beach as we thought the public beaches would be too crowded.

So what areas of Nassau are you wanting to visit? I've only been down the main road of shops as far as the Tortuga Rum Cake Shop, and then the other way, over as far as the Atlantis Hotel. On my own, it seemed intimidating, the main road, so full of people and cars, and people in funny outfits wanting money from you. I'll have to look at some of the excursions available there and decide what we'll do. Is it Nassau that has the Pirate Museum? I think DS7 would love that!!!

Thanks Judy for helping my computer illiterate mother! I haven't had time lately to help her with it. I can't believe she figured it out.

Well, now for the next 6 weeks I will be out of work because I just had carpal tunnel surgery. I will have time to start planning things.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by hangers. But if you have a sewing machine and can sew straight (ish) lines, you can easily make one, or use Heat and Bond for the NO SEW WAY. Use the directions here for either: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=30302583&postcount=609

Those are the directions I use but I sew it all together. To hang it all you need is a dowel rod and some ribbon. If I can help walk you through any of the steps, just let me know. Do you have Skype?

You are right Judy, it will be the second half of our B2B cruise that the Oasis will be in port the same time that we are. (I must have had my glasses on backwards!!!)

When we were in Nassau before, and we did the Atlantis tour. It was interesting, but we don't want to see it again. We would like to see the Queen's Staircase, Fort Charlotte - it was built in 1787, and also Fort Fincastle - which has great views of the ocean. I wouldn't mind doing one of those horse drawn carriage rides thru the town too.

FOR EVERYONE ELSE, It's me, Judy. I've changed up my Dis Name.
Bad day yesterday but things are looking up today. FREEZING cold outside though. ALL my daycare kids parents called today to say thier kids were ill, and I too have a sore throat. One of my kids parents had the flu AND pneumonia, now her daughter has the flu and a bad cold. She became ill on Thursday at my place, and I think the other kids have caught it like a chain reaction. TIS THE SEASON, right?

I ordered some Mickey CHEF's gear from the Disney Store online and it arrived today. I WAS going to put the stuff away and give it to him for his birthday this summer. But as the afternoon wore on here, I thought, wait, HE'S getting THIS cruise for his birthday, and he'd SO love this Chef's stuff now! So I packaged it all up to celebrate........... HIS UNBIRTHDAY!!! I caught him with the camera as he came in from the cold after school, and took photos of him opening his gifts, putting them on, then proceed to make Mickey Toast, and then eat it, with the rat cleaning up the crumbs off his face. I MUST get working on Scrapbooking those photos!! But here's one for you all now.
