Hello all!! Judy, that earthquake was huge it was felt here as well. I didn't feel it but I know a few of my coworkers who weren't working did. Glad you did have any major damage.

:banana:We finally got the email that we can book our wedding!
Now it's time for Ms. organized to dig through her stack of papers I don't know where to put and find our cruise confirmation!:scared1: This is going to take a while.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Congratulations!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!
I would like at this time to thank everyone who stood by me in my trying times. It was a difficult task set before me, but I stuck to it............... put my back into it...............put my nose to the grind stone...............................kept my eye on the ball............(I got to say here..................all of these things caused GREAT PAIN to me!!!) But I finally got my task done on furnishing ya'll with that link!!! (Just don't ask me to do it again!!!!!):lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:
Congratulations Shannon1984 on your up coming wedding!!! :woohoo:

Happy Canada Day!!!!!

I love this Video made by another couple of Canadians from London Ontario two years ago! I think they did an awesome job!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWQf13B8epw

And a HAPPY CANADA DAY to you to Judy!!! I know I'm late..............sorry! Going to check out the video link you posted after I write a few words here. These links sure are nice huh?!??!! It is nice that helpful people think of others and want to share with others things they find, fun, exciting, interesting, entertaining, educational, and above all just plain ol' good stuff!!!

We have had to cancel our Oasis of the Seas cruise for this fall. We had a personal matter come up that we felt it would be best to cancel this cruise. Now we are going to concentrate on this Disney Dream back2back cruise. This cruise, folks, will happen!!! I think I may have mentioned that we were more excited about this Disney Dream Cruise then the one on the Oasis anyways. We are BIG DISNEY FANS anyway, so this will be perfect!!!!

Well gang, I can see by the ol' clock on the wall, it's time for me to start work. Ya'll have a great day. Keep thinking those Disney thoughts:thumbsup2 and dreaming those Disney dreams!!!:thumbsup2

It's a great Thursday evening for me all. I have tomorrow, Friday, off. Got several errands to take care of and of course the ol' dreaded lawn work!!!:scared1::eek::scared:

Have any of my fellow past Disney Cruisers checked out the video in your Castaway Compass - Summer 2010? It is about the building of the Dream. It is very nicely done. It shows some of the areas on board the ship now and then switches to an artists redering of what it will look like when finished. Check it out, I think you will enjoy it!!!

Well, it's time for me to do my torture on the elipitcal. That machine hates me.............I just know it does! It keeps trying to make me go faster, and faster, and faster. I HATE it!!!!

Travelling solo? I wish I were as brave! I'd have been on a lot more cruises by now if I were! :) But alas, I have smallish children still, and I couldn't imagine cruising Disney and leaving them at home. Leave the DH at home? Definately a CAN DO! But not my boys. :) Part of the fun for me right now, is seeing them smile. Once they are grown, I KNOW at that point, I'll travel Disney without them.
We are surprising my mom and her BF with this cruise, Actually surprising HER. HE knows about it but doesn't know I'm paying for the whole trip for him too! She doesn't know anything about it, so it'll be awesome to see her face once she figures it out this Christmas! But first we have our Magic Cruise this fall! Less than 4 months now! Woo HOO!!

Wish I was doing a B2B cruise, but after the cruise I will go to WDW for a few days before going home.

I did that one year for my Mother's brithday, it was a Dec. trip to WDW (before DCL days) to see the X-mas lights at WDW

This will be my 2nd true solo cruise, I did the 7 day solo and had a blast, meet up with some great DIS'ers and my dinner mates were so kind, that was my big worry :scared1: and will be on this trip also, as I want to try each of the new Restaurants , the rest of the time there is so much to do, your always keeping busy.

This cruise is also to remember my Best Friend/Disney Travel Buddy/my Mother, we did DL/WDW/DCL trips as family trips. The sea day of this cruise will be the Anniversary she had her heart attack at the Phoenix airport as we were flying out to do a 3day land/4day cruise/5 more days to WDW, then Sat. after the crusie will be the Anniversary of her passing. She always said if she could not be babysitting her grand kids (my brothers) she wanted to be at Disney.

I hope everyone had a Safe and Happy 4th!!! We had a nice holiday. Just took it easy around the house, sitting indoors looking out at the RAIN that kept falling ALL..........WEEKEND...............LONG!!!! Oh well, we can always use the rain................but not on a holiday!!!!:scared:

Hey Judy, that is a very nice photo you made for the 4th. I liked it very much. Thank you for making it. You are very talented with those photo's, you make. I wish I could learn to do that. As the ol' saying goes, "Can't teach an ol' dog new tricks!!!" (I'm one of those ol' dogs!!!)

Well, it's back to work for me today. Had a nice long 4 day week-end this past week-end. Had planned on getting some work done around the ol' homestead. But, as I mentioned above..................... IT...........RAINED..............ALL.............WEEK-END............LONG!!!!
Well guys, I see it's time for me to start to work. Don't think I have shared this photo with you guys. Thought you might enjoy seeing it. Have a great day!!!

Hi all!

A big welcome to Big John! So, tell us about the snake in your room.:scared1:

It is HOT, HOT, HOT here! And humid. Feels like Florida.

TJ and David, your beautiful pictures are making me homesick for DCL. This is the first fall that we will not be cruising in quite a few years. Oh well, I guess next Sept. will be here before we know it. :goodvibes

Donna

WOW--that is a gorgeous pic!:lovestruc Did you take it??
Thanks for sharing!:thumbsup2

How is everyone today................I can't hear you...............I still can't hear you......................Now......that's better!!!:thumbsup2 Shout it out like you mean it!!!!:cool1: Hey...............I heard that...............my head is not fat!!!

Well, UGAFan0829, I wish I could take credit for taking that picture of the Disney ship, but I cannot. A friend of mine from the very first Disney cruise we took, who I meet here on the DIS Board, shared it with me. I'm not even sure if he took this picture. But it is one that I just can't see enough of. I don't even know which Disney ship it is??? I thought ya'll might enjoy seeing it.

Well, it's time for me to start working. I hope everyone has a nice day today.

Hi all!

A big welcome to Big John! So, tell us about the snake in your room.:scared1: Donna

Hello Ragdoll,
I was POP and had a ground floor room in the 90's on the outer side near the small parking lot, and right out the door was grass and bushes, I had gone to the Hard Rock Cafe outlet store, came back and walk the resort taking pic's as I flying home the next day, while I was out they serviced my room, so the door had been left open, so when I got back, went to go use the tool shack, I see this black "Toy snake" on the floor, and I start thinking why would a toy be on the bathroom floor, then it MOVE :scared1: so I started to walk out, I went back and took the pic, then out the door, just as I walk out, some Disney staff pull up in a golf cart, I told them what I found, and then walk in to see, he said it's a toy, then it move again, he was out the door faster then I was, and the lady just about passed out, then found a grounds worker who went in and got it. I didn't sleep to good that night, and when I went to pick up my bags to start packing for the flight home, I drop kick them to make sure no one was in there.
I now look back at it and :rotfl: it was the first snake I seen at WDW and it was in my room, I will always remember that trip. When I went back last year, I went back to POP and asked for a king bed, and a room with no snakes, yes it was noted on my res.:lmao:
I see the Dream will have a snake on the porthole screen  :lmao:

Been HOT here in Phoneix, a few days ago it was 115 for a hi, and 90 for the overnight low but it's cooling down by Sunday it will only be 100,

davidls, Great pic, I saved it and using it as my wallpaper (hope you don't mind)

Tar Balls have been washing ashore at Cocoa Beach!!! :sad2: Port Canaveral is next. At least for now they are just Tar Balls, I hope it doesn't get worse than that.

Been HOT HOT here too! Right now it's 33 with the Humidity and this afternoon is supposed to get up to 43 (that's 91 and 109 respectively) .

I was itching to get out of the house last night. DH had gone to bed early (he starts his work day at 1:30 AM) DD had gone to bed, DS6 was playing Wii and NOT wanting to go to bed and DS12 was reading in bed. It was just after 9pm, so I called a friend up around the corner and made plans to head over to her place to hang out (man I sound like my teen!). DS6 was set to argue with me that he didn't get his Wii time yet and he had just started a game, so I set the timer on the stove for 30 mins and told him to tuck himself in bed when that went off, and then I left.
On my way up the street, my immediate neighbour was out in her driveway, so I stopped and we chatted a bit, then I was on my way again. Neighbours, 3 doors down were out on their front porch and so I stopped for what was supposed to be a quick minute to say hi. They insisted I come sit down and join them for a glass of wine. So I did, and we chatted about kids, the neigbourhood, power outages, and fought off a zillion mosquitos and enjoyed that glass of wine. Before I knew it, it was almost 10:30!!! So I left and headed off again to my friends. I finally made it there. What a nice evening! I dont' usually head out at night like that, as I'm busy putting kids to bed, packing up bags for the next day that we'll need on whatever outing we're planning, tidy up the kitchen, putting in a load of laundry, tidying the bathroom, catching up on emails or graphic designing.............
(and DH jokes that I sit around all day and do nothing)

The point is, I had a LOVELY evening. Loved seeing the stars in the sky, I haven't looked at the stars in SOOOOO long. YES, A LOVELY EVENING :hippie:

Big John-You definitely started my day off right. I got quite a laugh out of your story! The part about the guy thinking it was a toy then running out when he saw it move nearly made me fall out of my chair laughing! And then to top it off, you drop kicked your bags!:rotfl: Bless your heart, I can't laugh too much though, cause I am terribly afraid of snakes myself.:scared1: I don't blame you for not sleeping well at all. And I just love the request for a room without snakes...that was pretty humorous as well!:lmao:I'm gonna have to make sure and show your post to my DH...he thinks I'm crazy when I make him check the room anytime we're on the ground floor in a Disney resort!:rolleyes1
