I'm hoping this will alleviate my 4-year-old asking to go to Sea World every other day!! Now she HAS something to look forward to!![]()
Well, here is the response from our travel agent re: the Expedia deal and their agency's lack of OBC offers:
"Hi, Chris!
Well, as of right now (agency name) is not offering any additional OBC, but my guess is that its very possible well see something like that later on this spring. Should that offer become available I would certainly make sure that it was applied to your reservation so you got the additional credit. In any event Ill make sure that youre happy with the deal you have the last thing I want is for you to feel like you could have gotten better value elsewhere."
Goofy Adpi...not sure if you ever stayed in 5522 and heard the swishing and flushing of water underneath the floor of this room. We stayed in 5522 and it was noisey, with a slushing sound of water under the floor and then, it sounded as if it were being flushed away, then filling again and flushing. There also is aa crew door directly across from the door of 5522 and, it would slam shut day and night. I asked our room steward about the water sound and she thought it might be some type of a holding tank?? If you can snag a verandah room for slightly more, I would definitely recommend it. Just wanted to pass this bit of information along so you know what to expect.![]()

"Hi, I'm Pat, and I'm a Disney freak. And so is my DH, Dennis."
Here's the proof. We couldn't have an actual Disney wedding - too expensive for our tastes, and Dennis wanted to get married in a little church in Orlando that he loves. It was just my family and a couple of friends, and we did add some Disney touches. Dennis (who insisted on wearing a tux - love this guy!) had a bow tie and cummerbund with Mickeys on them and I had Mickey head earrings and a necklace with little Mickey heads. We all went to dinner at 1900 Park Fare - yes, a character meal for our reception - and we had a special-order cake with a few of our own touches.

This was our cake. The piping on the side matched the embellishment on my dress. Look closely at who "taste-tested" it. That was a nod to our dogs.

And this is us. (That's my dad in the background going, "Cut the cake, already!") You can sort of see Dennis's tie and cummerbund. Oh, and I made my dress, hat, and purse.
See, what did I tell you? Disney Freaks.
Are there good deals at the Swarovski store in Gibraltar? We found some great deals on Disney pieces when in Paris - much cheaper than at home in the US!
Well we have made an unheard of and earth-shattering decision this morning. We have decided not to stay in WDW after the cruise for the 2 days before we fly home. Instead, we are going to hire a car, and drive up the coast to St Augustine, a place I have always wanted to visit. We have booked this hotel which looks amazing.

We will be in WDW in July anyways, and because we were only planning on going to MNSSHP, and apparently we will miss the dates for that anyway, we decided to broaden our horizons. Has anyone ever been to St Augustine? Any recommendations or "must sees". Thanks.

I love all the Disney touches...how cool
We did get married at Disney at the little area by the ESPN Zone at the boardwalk...we wanted it cheap as well so we only invited the parents and then came home for the receptions.

I lived in St. Augustine for years as I was a police officer there. We will have to have a drink on the cruise and give you some recommendations. St. Augustine is awesome but if you get away from the tourism, you may decide you want to live there forever. My wife and I talk about our experiences there almost daily. If you want to PM me please do. Give me an idea of if you are just the two adults, with kids, etc. Either way we can definately point you to some hidden jems. And if you enjoy the ghost tour type of thing...then do I have some stories for you. Midnight shift on St. George Street for years left me with several "haunting" memories. LOL
Can I just add in that my two mad little yorkshire terriers are called Tod and Copper after my favourite disney film Fox and The Hound..... hence the disname
Oh you have no idea lol.... can't wait to meet you all too
One of our pups is a yorkshire too...
When we come home from our US trips, particularly if they include a cruise, all we want are beans on toast. Or a meal with lots and lots of vegetables!!!![]()
