Are there good deals at the Swarovski store in Gibraltar? We found some great deals on Disney pieces when in Paris - much cheaper than at home in the US!
Well we have made an unheard of and earth-shattering decision this morning. We have decided not to stay in WDW after the cruise for the 2 days before we fly home. Instead, we are going to hire a car, and drive up the coast to St Augustine, a place I have always wanted to visit. We have booked this hotel which looks amazing.

We will be in WDW in July anways, and because we were only planning on going to MNSSHP, and apparently we will miss the dates for that anyway, we decided to broaden our horizons. Has anyone ever been to St Augustine? Any recommendations or "must sees". Thanks.
Should I feel like we owe it to them to stay? Is there any way to go back and try to coax some OBC out of them or say I can cancel and get it elsewhere?
I have had an email back from Dolphin World and if we can get 10 or more interested parties we can do this tour for £15 pp. They cam also do it at 10:15 which I think was the better option for those wanting to go up the cable car in the afternoon and of course stop off at Morrissons ( Mary !! )
I love that your cats are called MGM and Epcot .... they are really cool names.![]()
Thanks.... total disney freaks... can't wait to met all of you.![]()
OMG!!!! It was totally worth it. We did it 4 times. It was soooooo cool.

Bella will be staying with an older lady who does boarding and doggie day care in her home - which she attends every day.
Cheesy, I know. But it started as a puppy and we haven't brought ourselves to pull the plug on it because we don't want to crate her all day long while we're at work.
She is good about not chewing on things or being destructive (except with her toys), but we are apprehensive to leave her alone for 8-10 hours to her own devices - and to come home to chewed up furniture!
So far we have 13 interested Dolphin watchers ... so we qualify for the £15 rate. Is anyone else interested ??? Here is the link:

Could someone let me know if my ticker at the bottom of my message is showing. I can see the "DVC since 1996" but not the countdown to our cruise. Can't figure out why I can't see it.
Thanks!

I've never been Sarah but it looks fab.
I am so sad that we will miss MNSSHP as I was really looking forward to doing it again. I don't know what we will do now as we won't have park tickets.

And this is us. (That's my dad in the background going, "Cut the cake, already!") You can sort of see Dennis's tie and cummerbund. Oh, and I made my dress, hat, and purse.
See, what did I tell you? Disney Freaks.

"Hi, I'm Pat, and I'm a Disney freak. And so is my DH, Dennis."
Here's the proof. We couldn't have an actual Disney wedding - too expensive for our tastes, and Dennis wanted to get married in a little church in Orlando that he loves. It was just my family and a couple of friends, and we did add some Disney touches. Dennis (who insisted on wearing a tux - love this guy!) had a bow tie and cummerbund with Mickeys on them and I had Mickey head earrings and a necklace with little Mickey heads. We all went to dinner at 1900 Park Fare - yes, a character meal for our reception - and we had a special-order cake with a few of our own touches.
This was our cake. The piping on the side matched the embellishment on my dress. Look closely at who "taste-tested" it. That was a nod to our dogs.

We would be intrested in joiming you to.

Fab pics Pat....I love that Stitch tasted the cake for you!![]()
Love the photos Pat. You looked like you were having a fabulous time.
You certainly had a lovely wedding!! I am impressed that you are such a talented seamstress and designer. As for me, I can't even sew on a button as my both my GM an DM were expert seamstresses!! I never even had a "store bought" dress until I was a teenager. I would just point to an outfit in a magazine and one or the other would make it for me. No incentive to learn to sew!!
No it isn't showing for me, sorry. Has it just disappeared?
Thank you everyone! We did have a great time.
Noel, I actually used patterns for everything. I really only started sewing about 10 years ago. My DM also was a fabulous seamstress - my DB and I never had "store bought" clothes. My prom dresses (and everything else, for that matter) were just like you said - I pointed to a dress in the store and Mom made it. She can't sew any more, due to macular degeneration, otherwise she probably would have made my dress. Funny thing though, I used a Vogue pattern for the dress, and at one point couldn't figure out part of the instructions. I called Mom and told her about it, and her response was, "I told you Vogue patterns are terrible!" Thanks, Mom, but it's a bit late now!! The fabric was silk and even on sale, it was more than I had ever paid for fabric. I laid out the pattern and it took me two days to work up the nerve to cut into it. The best moment, though, was when Mom was helping me pack my dress to go home and was looking at the seams and all the work I put into it. She said, "You did a great job on this. I'm really proud of you." Coming from her, that meant a lot.
Sorry, didn't mean to ramble on about that!
