morning noel! its only morning where you are, but its already getting dark here :(

Since we have changed the theme, are we going to change the logo for tee shirts and lanyards?
 
I would be willing to organize the FE, if someone can tell me what that means! We only had 10 cabins participating on our last cruise, so I don't think there was much to organize.

this weekend we are going to see the new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows movie on the first day in IMAX in Dublin.

Oooooh! HP fans! DH and I are going to the midnight show tonight. We are actually geeky enough to dress up - I made us wizard robes years ago - except I can't seem to find my costume. Can't remember where I put it after the last movie, which is probably the last time I wore it. Oh well, I still have my McGonagal hat. We've gone to the midnight shows for the other movies, but I was thinking of waiting for Friday to go this time, but DH said he wants to go to the midnight show again. This is the man who is in his "jammies" and asleep in front of the TV by 9:00 every night. :rolleyes: We'll see how he does tonight!
 

I could post things about last years tour but I have not firmly planned a tour yet. What do you guys think?

How about taking names of people interested. I know you have been doing that, but put a post up on page 1 about it. Perhaps a basic overview, but mentioning it can only go ahead if enough people are interested etc?

Please feel free to take over from me. Karen will put your name up there instead of mine.:) Basically it will be just taking names and folk in the cabins and room numbers and occasionally sending updates to karen to post on Page 1. Then as we decide how many cabins to a group etc, keeping things up to date, with room changes etc.

We are going to the 10:45 PM IMAX show tomorrow due to DH John's work schedule. We don't dress up but have to wait in line for 4 or 5 hours to get a good seat. Last time we went, we were interview on TV as we were the only one that didn't dress up!! The interviewer was amazed at our ages, our lack of costumes and the fact that we were reading totally unrelated books while we waited in line!!
 
that sounds like great fun, i will probably go see the new film at some point, but i dont think i'll like the fact that i will need to wait a year to find out what happens (despite the fact that i have read the book, but cant remember what happens!)

I think we should wait to post any more about the Madeira tour as this tour would probably be different and the costs may be different. You might just post the link to refer to last years tour and have people PM me if the are interested a tour.

Best way to keep track of FE is the way it was done last year by making up Excel spread sheets by FE group. See details here: FE thread from 2010 WBTA.

I think you make an excellent suggestion. We don't really have that many people on the list I suspect at this point. Perhaps more people will join the thread after the holidays.

Any plans for a stateroomtour? If the case you guys are welcome to check it out to have a glimps of which accessible features DCL can offer. Always good to have a mental picture in case of a loved on ever needs anything or whatever.

Today is one of those days, I guess. Awaiting a number of important phonecalls and nobody seems to stick to appointments and actually call back. Got through to most of them, but still awaiting a phonecall from the doc that was scheduled over 1.5 hour ago. :rolleyes: It's past 5 pm so no longer able to call in myself -and before no real info other than being on the list, which I've already checked on online myself-. Who knows if the call will still come? I've had docs call in evening hours because they are too swamped, I've had appointments magically disappear from one screen to the next. I like the option of not having to go to the hospital for everything, but this is starting to become a bit annoying. :headache: (read; I'm impatiently awaiting to hear if I'm getting a treatment before the holidays or not).

By the way, as we're starting gathering a nice selection of people from different states and countries, how about a candyswap? I know it's been done on some cruises before, where those participating would bring along something typical for their country or state and exchange. Only downside I've experienced doing it; finding yourself loving something and not being able to get your easy fix at home. :laughing:

Sounds like a good idea. Although I did not participate, I know that the Candy Swap was very successful on our last cruise. Candy Swap
